To all the hopeful applicants, please do your due diligence. Do not be in a rush to apply, make sure your documents are in sync with your story. I wish you goodluck in your applications.

To all the delayed applicants, please do not give up, try again if you can. It is really worth it.

It shall end in praises.

I have LOA already my question is based on Study permit application. Can i receive the $30k cad in my acct today and still submit my SP Aplication? Is it ideal OR VO might see a red flag?

Lodgement of funds, it will be flagged by VO. This is a big case for denial, please give more time after the transaction before you apply, like say 4 months. I don't know if providing evidence of source of such funds will help your case, for instance, sales receipt of land and agreement, etc.

Goodluck!

Good morning please is there any evidence of payment one can send to school when a student pays tuition via form A cos my school is still insisting they haven't received my payment.

You can ask your local bank about this, they might have an evidence for you. Please, refer to Lentomac's detailed post above.

When was the form A transaction initiated at your bank? Due to the current circumstances, it takes a while to be finalised. Mine took 7 working days before CBN approved, then 5 working days before I received a successful transaction mail from the foreign bank. And this wasn't during the holiday season.

You and your school may just have to be patient.

Please guys can I use my uncle from mother side as my sponsor, he doesn’t bear the same surname with my mother and he’s a Muslim! Please I need y’all contribution cos that the only thing I think I need clarification on!

You have to prove the relationship, your mother's birth certificate with her maiden name, her marriage certificate with the your current surname and your uncle's birth certificate with his surname (your mother's maiden name) might help you to do that.

If you have a closer sponsor such as direct family member, it would be better.

Goodluck!

Please, someone should respond smiley

I will advice you to apply for the September program first, get the admission. Then continue what your doing at the moment by building up your funds account, apply for visa when you're confident of your financial profile. You can easily defer your admission and raise a Web form to update IRCC with the new admission letter.

Goodluck!

Hi all, for those that were denied for this reason below;

"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status."

How were you able to rectify this? And when you got your gcms notes, what was the Visa officer concern. Please help me.

I will advice you to order for your GCMS note and get the denial reasons in detail. Based on your post, the denial was because of lack of funds or no proper evidence of available funds, so with your GCMS note, you will be able to know where the loop holes were and how to tackle them.

good morming,

i have a quick question.

If you have paid tuition of say 21,000 and have 29,000 available in your account, when filling your forms, would available fund be 21,000 + 29,000 or just the "29,000"?

thanks.

luckymama please come to my aid. I believe that you paid your tuition as well.

Funds available for your studies should be 50,000.

Your story is a LIE.
1. That supposed friend is YOU.
2. You want to know if you can transfer the login to an account you want to create. You want to take over the application now.

*If you truly used an agent, your agent would already know the answer*.

Back to your question, the answer is NO!

But she can actually create a new account and link it to the application with the UCI number. This has been discussed on this thread several times.

I'm studying in Toronto. I found a place where I paid 700 CAD for 16 nights. I had a private bathroom but a shared kitchen.
You'd have to wear a mask to use any shared spaces, like the kitchen or garden area, or when picking up food order.
In the same accommodation, you can also book a room with shared bathroom, which is allowed. But going to and from your room, you'd have to mask up.

Okay, that's good. I thought the shared bathroom is not allowed for quarantine.

Please explain the words in bold.
Thanks.

For instance, for Ontario's Masters stream of their Provincial Nomination, if you schooled with a scholarship or sponsorship that request for your return to your home country after your program, you're ineligible to apply for that Provincial Nomination. I don't have a lot of information on this, I just thought you should know so you can now research and confirm it yourself before signing any bond.

Cheap is relative, what is your budget for total tuition?

At the bolded, the company has agreed to pay the tuition for the second year. I spoke with the director and requested for the company’s account statement but he refused. He however said he can only issue me a letter to buttress that they’re going to pay my tuition for the second year.
This letter he said he will address to the embassy after I sign a bond an have it notarized that I’d work for the company for a minimum of 5 years after my studies when I return in order for them to recoup the investment.

I tire for the matter

Be careful of bonds that compel you to come back after your studies. Most permanent resident routes doesn't support such, if you have any kind of sponsorship or scholarship that requires you to return to your home country, you're automatically not eligible. This is based on information I'm not certain of, please confirm this before you tie yourself to a tree.

Goodluck.

Happy holidays everyone!

Please help answer my inquiry.

My program costs $44,500 CAD for 2 years (MSc.) and I’m self sponsoring.

While showing proof of funds, can I submit my bank statement with a balance of tuition fees for 1 year ($24,000) and living expenses for 1 year ($10,000) or must I have the balance of living expenses for 2 years ($20,000) plus total tuition for 2 years ($45,000)?

Unless you have a means of earning income in Nigeria while you're away for your studies, if not, the later is your best bet.

Good day people . Please I’m new here . I have a question . I want to migrate to canada via study route . But my major issue is my CGPA i had 2.70 on a 5 point scalein human physiology (2:2) My questions are
1) can I get masters directly (even if it is in unpopular university)
2( how much should I budget for this ?
3) which school should I apply to ?

Thanks in advance

1. No, it's highly difficult, if not impossible, to get into a masters program with your CGPA. Your best bet is a postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma.

2. Depends on the school, tuition fee varies. Just know you must have the 1year tuition and 1year living expenses(CAD$10,000) ready in your sponsors account (If you're sponsored)or the full tuition for the whole program and living expenses for the whole duration in your personal account, preferably (If you're self sponsored).

This is just a very rough guide, read more information here to get enough details.

Goodluck!

What I did was carry my most essential stuffs from Nigeria so I didn't need to come out at all, firstly I did try to open an account at the airport but couldn't spot one on time and if you have a connecting flight, you might not have the time to get your SIN and open an account, I was told Nigerian cards work but didn't get to use it either.. if you can come with essential foodstuffs that can last you 14days or if you have any dependable family/friend around here - they can help you do grocery shopping and drop them off for you. L

Cheers

Please, what do you mean by essential foodstuffs? Which food stuffs were you able to carry? I will be travelling soon, I wanna buy all the stuffs in the coming days.
Cheers!

Hello Gurus, please any advice would be appreciated. I made a mistake on my Study Permit form. I put my diploma date were my Bachelors degree date is. Don't know how I can correct this. My eligibility is already under review.

Raise a webform and attached the correctly filled form as soon as possible. Maybe a succinct LOE to explain the error and corrections.

Please can I dm you for clarification. My option is CIBC but I think form A requires account details of the school which am not seeing or getting from Concordia university.

When you generate a payment instruction sheet from CIBC webiste, it will contain all the information required for formA by your local bank. You will access the CIBC website through your schools payment page, that's how it is for my school, maybe Concordia University is different.

Please who have idea about the charges that CIBC bank charge for tuition fees

Depends on the option you chose on their website. Is the transaction going to be generated from Nigeria? Is it bank wire (formA) or debit card? CIBC is one of, if not, the best for international transfers for tuition. I just did formA through my bank with my CIBC instruction sheet and the charges I received today are N500 for FormA and N4000 for Telex. Exchange rate of approximately N395.

Goodluck!

Hi Insanity, what if you try calling DHL customer care and quote the return way bill tracking number to inform them that the shipment is ready for collection at Visa Application Centre ( quoting the full address) . Please contact details of DHL Team in charge of shipment delivery and pickup. Please contact the customer service team by email on nginquiry@dhl.com and copy ngdispatch@dhl.com or call any of the DHL lines 08039077000, 08002255345 or 012700908.

You can try email DHL with your details let their team go there and lets see if that works.

Yeah, I've done that now, they're going to pick up today, I will track it this evening. Initially, DHL customer service gave me the wrong information, said they're waiting for notification from VFS to come and pick up. I spoke with VFS too, hopefully this will be over by the end of the day.

Thanks a lot for your help.
