eyinjuege: Lagos state owned hospitals do use oxygen concentrators. Though its abt 1or 2 in the emergency wards. Most probably the hospital had no fuel to power their standby gen due to the scarcity. The mgt of the hospital should have ensured 24hr power supply, they should have turned themselves to fuel if there's no fuel to buy. Other patients may probably have being on the oxygen cylinders. Maybe the concentrators should be abandoned for now due to the erratic power supply, but that would still deprive those that it could benefit when there's power. / That still doesn't explain it. Nigeria is not ripe for any life support/saving equipment that is wholly dependent on electricity especially without backup plans. If the patient was in a critical condition, the healthcare workers should have made alternative provisions for oxygen, that is assuming they care. \ |

The problem is that some days they claim they are dredging River Niger for the inland port. Then the next day, they will claim that it is the 2nd Niger bridge.
This work and flip-floppy explanation have been going on for years. At the end, no port no bridge.
So we will know it is a bridge when we see one. No investigative reporting necessary. We all have eyes. Remember that Gov.Amaechi built a monorail in PH. Where is the monorail? The work is still on going. Right? By the way, are you aware that CCC has ongoing project on Enugu-Awka expressway since 1999? Yet not even a kilometer of road has been completed.
There is a reason why they are called White Elephant projects. So spare us the propaganda.

Health › Re: Sad: Woman Placed On Oxygen At General Hospital Dies After Nepa Took Light by InvertedHammer: 3:16pm On May 10, 2015 |
There is no correlation between "light" and oxygen delivery.
The patient was probably on E or H tank and they are not powered by anything. Nigerian hospitals don't use oxygen concentrators.
So they should investigate what else caused the death.

I will also pay courtesy visit to Government house to inform the Governor of my intention. I will be updating my movement on facebook, twitter and other online social media.
