stephenduru: Warri billionaire, Ayiri Emami, his brother Aje Emami and friends are currently on vacation in Beirut Lebanon.
They are all having the best of fun as the Oil mogul and founder of the 911 Beach and Resort in Delta state splashed a whooping sum of N1.5million on breakfast today.
Pictured below are Ayiri Emami and his crew catching fun at the Four Seasons Hotel in the country. He also shared a pic of the receipt of the breakfast.

edogirl2: It seems Mr & Mrs Jadesimi quietly built their business over a number of years to become the largest base for rig and vessel repair in West Africa. The business is heading to become a $1 billion company.
Why will the Federal govt, through tribal jealousy, want to truncate the work of a quiet and dignified Nigerian couple?
As someone said above me, if the work was being done in South Korea, China, or Japan we wouldn't mind. But Lagos? Na. Will this company not employ qualified Nigerians irrespective of their tribal background?
It is not the govt's role to terrorise a successful business becos of tribal considerations.
ND business men should use this couple as an example of what is possible and develop similar businesses in the Niger Delta. / LADOL can always go on break for 2 weeks. By then, GEJ will be history. \ |

Career › Re: Please Help Me Choose Between Zenith And UBA by InvertedHammer: 12:19am On May 15, 2015 |
cigie: I could use your advice…
I have recently finished medicals with Zenith bank and UBA, and I am pretty sure to land both jobs. Both are contract jobs; however Zenith is offering a two year contract while UBA is one year. The salary difference is not much, so that is not a deciding factor for me, at least not at this entry stage…but I would love to know the pay at confirmation. I’m more concerned about career advancement and job security now.
I would appreciate your inputs as to which offer is best. Kindly state the reason(s) behind your suggestions. I would really love to hear from bankers.
Thanks. / Is the contract renewable after the initial term? Did the bank renew the contract of the ones before you? How often does the bank lay off their contract staff? Length of contract: 2 yrs vs. 1yr. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years. \ #The answers to these questions will help you make a better choice. |

/ I think the article is nonsense.
The only way.Nigeria can recover her stolen money is through a God-fearing, patriotic albeit asshole military dictator that throws the IRS "format" at the politicians, et al. Fighting corruption involves zero tolerance with no soft-landing. Otherwise people will steal N10b to give back N2bn. Net looting profit becomes N8bn.
The format goes like this. The onus is on suspect to prove funds and assets are legitimately acquired or be wholly forfeited to the government. In extreme cases, 2-5 years jail term follows.
The only person that can implement such a draconian measure is an A-hole who talks less and acts more. Fvck fundamental human rights! A looter of commonwealth should be treated like a criminal that he/she is. All these oil marketers gallivanting all over the place will cry more than Oladipo Diya. This is why I think GEJ is the worst of the worst--allowed Lilly-livered leeches to hold his government at ransom. What manner of C-in-C?! / |

cramjones: Several times on the forum, I have tried to promote what we should advocate our governments to do on issues like this. It is not enough to have money to go India for a transplant or for one treatment or the other. We should be able to have good insurance schemes, so that most Nigerian citizens can have access to health care that they need. We cannot continue like this in Nigeria, where the only hope for those who cannot afford expensive care for complicated ailments relies on begging the general public for money. That is what insurance is meant to do - pull in money from the general public and use it for those that fall sick.
Furthermore, it is very stupid for a politician to steal monies meant to equip our hospitals and yet if he has a stroke or a heart attack, there is not hospital in Nigeria that can save him. Flying to Germany will only make the Germans receive a dead corpse, for 6 hours is too long for emergency interventions. How did we get to this quagmire where Nigerians fly all over the world to get the most basic of even nursing care? This must change!
Nairaland must at least take a break in promoting useless topics like "nude this" and "big butt" that, and start using their website to advocate for favorable courses.
I can assure you that if the status quo on health care remains they way it is, many of you reading this will die of very preventable or manageable causes. Until something is done urgently, all of us remain in a cesspit of a doomed health system!
Good luck to OJB!
-CramJones / They will spend millions of naira buying fleet of cars but will not spend N300+ to buy an AED that can save their lives when Nigerian doctors fail to deliver. SMH \ |
