Christianity EtcDr Chris Okafor Donates Transformer To Host Community, Says Church Must Help by ipreach(op): 11:18pm On Feb 23, 2017
The General Overseer of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries a.k.a Liberation City, Dr. Chris Okafor has continued to make good on his promise to take philanthropy to a whole new level in this year, 2017.

The man of God who is known for his accurate prophecies and fearlessness recently warned in an exclusive video that went viral, that the persecution of the church and Christians in Nigeria, especially with respect to the Southern Kaduna killings could lead to retaliation from Christians and an eventual breakup of Nigeria.

According to the man of God who is now held in very high esteem by Nigerian Christians who have wondered why most of the founding fathers have been quiet in the face of persecution, “the church in Nigeria has been too quiet! Not only over the fact that Christians are facing a lot of killings, intimidation and harassment, but also in the area of Charity. Why shouldn’t churches be at the forefront of charitable giving in this country? Is it that we don’t have money or what? Are we going to die with all this money? Look at what recession is doing to our people.

Is it because Nigerians are very resilient? People are suffering! That is why I made up my mind that in this very year, I will use every opportunity that I have to be a blessing to people around me and beyond. Those who know me know that for me, there is no ministry without charity. It’s my lifeline.”

In keeping with his promise, the man of God who only a few weeks ago donated 3.5million Naira in cash to ailing Nollywood actors; food stuffs and cash money to hundreds of widows and even assisted about five other indigent church members with millions of naira for needs ranging from house rents, start up businesses, etc., recently donated a high powered Electricity Transformer to the host community of his headquarter church in the Oshofisan area of Ojodu- Berger, Lagos. According to one of the community heads in the area, several applications have been made to the authorities and none was heeded.

The community, he said, had already lost hope and was now living practically in partial, if not total darkness as generators remained their only source of power. The man of God was quoted as asking how they were going to cope with frequent fuelling of their generators when most of them were either out of job or simply had their means of livelihood crippled due to recession.

Expectedly, the community was thrown into an ecstatic frenzy. It was like another Christmas season in February, especially for kids in that community who took turns to touch and thank the man of God.

CultureSay No To Xenophobia!!! - Prophet Tb Joshua by ipreach(op): 9:51pm On Feb 23, 2017
The founder and senior Pastor of Synagogue of All Nation took to his official Facebook page to plead with the residents of South Africa to stop the attack on other Africans residing in South Africa.

Read his post below:

“The wound of one should be the wound of all. Whatever happens in any African country, we should come together – what can we do? What happens in Nigeria – every African should be concerned. Every African should be concerned with whatever happens in South Africa. We should see it as if it happens in our own country.

"The wound of one should be the wound of all. Every continent is like a human being. South Africa is a hand; Ghana is another hand. Nigeria may be a leg; Congo could be an eye. In the body, if anything happens to a part of it, the whole body will feel it.
“The wound of one should be the wound of all. Today, if anything happens to a country, people say they will carry their people – where are you carrying them to? Why can’t we come together and redeem our continent?

"AFRICA, UNITE! We have a common enemy – satan! We have one enemy camouflaged differently, uniformed differently. What is happening there can happen in any country. Africa, let us unite!” - T.B. Joshua #NoToXenophobia

@ipreach, ure blessed!
2 things my friend:
1. If you are called by God, you wont ask if you should go
2. Prophecy isnt about seeing dreams amd foretelling, far from it. God's Prophet edifies, exhorts and comforts. He speaks the mind of God like Isaiah, Jeremiah nd Ezekiel did!
Conclusion: Dont be misled, seek God and grow in the Lord...If you attend a Bible believing church, please see your leader fast! A spiritual leader will ask you certain questions to help him direct nd guide you properly!
God direct you paths! Amen!
God bless you

It's God who call people into offices . There is difference between prophesying and the gift of prophecy and the office of the prophet. Someone may prophesy that's not a proof of the gift of prophecy and having the gift of prophecy is not a proof of a call into the office of a prophet.

You can have the gift of prophecy and still be under a pastor and submit your gift under the his leadership. Paul was an apostle but he had prophets who worked with him. Silas was a prophet, Barnabas was a prophet. But served under Paul . So server in your church . Let your pastor know your experience. He will guide you . Except God tells you otherwise . When God tells you ,you will know .
Thanks

I have been thinking since afternoon because of somethings I have being experiencing. I had a pregnant colleague in the office whom I always tell that she was carrying a baby boy in her womb but she blatantly told me that scam showed that it was the opposite but I refuse to accept the scam result, reason being that anytime I saw her I feel the presence of a boy.

Guess what.

Today she called that my prophesy has came to pass. She has given birth to a handsome BBB.

This is the fourth time I am predicting the gender in a pregnant woman and non has failed.

I have also predicted events, different type of sporting activities and all have been perfect.

My question now is.

Have I been called by God to be a prophet or is it just normal to other people?

Should I go and open a prophetic ministry?

Please, advice me.

Christianity Etc6 Effective Steps To Resuscitate A Church by ipreach(op): 11:33am On Feb 19, 2017
She was on her deathbed.

Every breath was laborious.
Every breath was more difficult.

Those who surrounded her knew the end was imminent. It was only matter of time — a very brief time.

But the impossible became the possible. The dying lady survived. In fact, she not only survived, her outlook is very promising today.
Hers is a true story of resuscitation: from the brink of death to survival to improved health to a healthy life.

What about churches? Can a church experience a similar miraculous recovery? Admittedly, I have only seen a few churches with the same story of resuscitation. But I have seen a sufficient enough number to make some concise observations. These observations are among the most encouraging events I have ever witnessed.
How did these few churches go from near death to vibrant life? Here are their stories.

1. A prolonged period of prayer.
The members knew that only a miracle of God could save their church. So they decided to set aside a period of prayer, usually a few weeks or a couple of months. Members would gather after the worship service. Some would gather in homes. They would admit their total dependence on God. And they would place everything about their churches at His mercy and in His will.

2. A covenant to forsake self.
When a church dies, there is the predictable prologue of self-centered, self-serving membership. Church members argue about the style of music, the length of the sermon, the types of ministries and programs, and even the type of furniture in the church. Membership becomes about me, myself, and I. In the resuscitated church, the members covenant to put self last. They agree they will not demand their way, but seek to put others first. Some of the churches even create a written covenant.

3. A willingness to kill sacred cows.
This process is often an extension of the previous commitment. As the members covenant to forsake self, they commit to doing away with programs, ministries, events, rooms, furniture, or anything that has become a sacred cow. They often don't see those sacred cows until their eyes have been opened in the prolonged period of prayer.

4. A commitment to see through the eyes of the outsider.
As the members continue to forsake self, they begin to ask how the church is viewed from the perspective of the outsider. They may actually engage a person to visit their church and share their experience. It is amazing to see how this process transforms facilities, worship, greeters' ministry, and children's ministries, to name a few.

5. An agreement to connect and invite.
Members commit to be intentional about developing relationships with people outside the church. They set prayer goals of how many people they will invite to church each month. The church begins moving from an inward focus to an outward focus.

6. A decision to move beyond the negative naysayers.
This core of members realizes that not everyone will be on board. There will always be those who view church as a spiritual country club with perks and privileges. Indeed, in most of these resuscitated churches, there was stiff resistance, adamant opposition, and financial threats. But the members were loving but firm. No longer would their church be controlled by the naysayers, critics, and bullies. They would stand together and stand with others who were attacked and maligned.
Is church resuscitation common? No.
Is church resuscitation possible? Yes.
In God's power, yes.
