Wealthinwealth1: @justwise and every expert in the house, please HELP ME TREAT AS URGENT.
I and my wife have been trying to help my brother inlaw and his family come join us in the UK, issue came up between him and his wife and we couldnt continue the process. Someone came up with a match up deal, i.e he act as a husband to a lady who already had admission. It's something that came up suddenly and I kind of not liking the fast process cos it doesnt gimme time to think over it and alot of money is involved. My issue with it is
they both have kids as single parent, what happen to the kids? Cos both will like to bring thier kids. Isnt it gonna be an issue? And wont they suspect theres a foul play?
I dont want all this rush and I dont want something that will put my family in distress Are you okay |

Missngozi123: Hello @fun2fun
I have an undergrad as well as postgrad degree in Education. I currently work as a teacher, although I am about to start my doctorate degree in September. I do not quite agree that teaching doesn't commensurate with the financial gains, I think you just have to be strategic and target the very good schools and of course 'package' yourself properly.
Also, just because its education doesn't mean you have to be restricted to teaching. You could work in curriculum development, teacher training or even educational admin/management. This is just my small opinion. However if you want another degree, perhaps you should look into the area of educational or school psychology for a second MSc option, you can link it to your previous degrees in Education and hopefully create a new career path for yourself from there. Additionally, you can go for Social Work or Educational Psychology focusing on child education development. Check it out |

adetunjioludami: Any trick to applying for TB test online? I have tried enough times at midnight. It went through one time but it didn't include my dependants and the reference number sef wasn't coming out as legit after I used the reference search button. So I cancelled and I have been trying to rebook again. Please help if you know a trick to it. I have tried the email method, they aren't responding. Since yesterday, their numbers aren't available also. Use another email address to book or print out the reference number you have and visit their office physically but get there very early if you don’t want to spend the whole day there. They close early on Friday (11am). |

chuksiyk31: Visa Alert
I’m really not very good with lengthy messages, but the journey has been amazing, started the journey with Hertfordshire got denied because of previous visa denial. I then applied to Birmingham city university, got a conditional offer. After sending all the required documents, I did my interview and everything seemed to be going fine.
Then the time for biometrics and visa application came, this is very my faith was tested at different times. I can say somethings because of how sensitive they are but trust me when I say it was a real trying period. Did my biometrics 28th of April, got nsf around 14th of May. I honestly got scared after the nsf Mail(they requested nothing by the way). Got a collect mail yesterday (my self and my wife got the Mail almost at the same time) we picked our visas today. Congratulations! |

Now, the challenge is all our 3 applicants Date f Birth were discovered to be reduced by 1 day when I printed the booking confirmations and I am 100% sure that I picked correct DOB for myself, wife and daughter. Has anyone experienced this? Guys, what can I do to get this resolved/corrected?

MacDarrey: Good day to all gurus in the house,
Please I need help here. I have been trying to book TB appointment with IOM Lagos and it's been hell online. Even when I saw successful at the end of it but within 1 sec error will popup. I have tried severally and even at night with no success. I send a mail with necessary details and also mentioned the challenges with no acknowledgement/response. I was able to get through to their office via phone call this morning and what they ask was a mail from them with Ticket No and there was no response email from them up until now.
Please what is the best way to get the booking done? Do I need to be there physically? If yes, like what time is best to go there as I am aware of the crowd. I am just having a feeling that these people are kinda monetizing this process because it is not suppose be difficult like this.
I need shared experience please. Go to their office as early as 6am to get booking. If you already have an offer they may give you early date. So go with your passport and offer letter. I just did mine today. |

BCU want your referee to provide reference on your suitability for the course you applied for. There are tons of sample academic references online that your referee can use as a guide. Ensure the following information are in the response by your referee: Name of applicant/Student Course you’re applying for How long they’ve known you Your suitability for the course Referee contact details: Full name, email and phone number, full school address. Above all, the reference should be on school letterhead paper if you’re uploading a scanned copy. Hope this helps |

jamesy212: Hello guys, please I need your opinion on this, especially someone who has been in same situation or know of someone... Please my names on my international passport is not properly arranged. My middle name was replaced with my first name and vice versa.
The passport expired this month and I'm about going for renewal. Now, where it got complicated is that my names on NIN are properly placed and immigration won't accept it for renewal unless I correct it to the way it's placed on my passport.
So, I'm currently left with the choice to either change the name on my passport or that on my NIN.
My question is if I change the name of my NIN and renew my passport, will it call for concern during the visa processing since all my other documents have different arrangement from my passport?
I'm considering going for the change of name on my NIN because currently changing name on passport isn't fast as usual. I have someone who initiated the process since March but yet to receive it.
I'm for January intake Do a change of name with Nigerian Immigration for your passport to aligned with all your credentials and other documents. Go to Abuja immigration headquarters and do it fast. You have like 7 months before your intake |

Notime0112: Please expatiate how black market works in paying school fees deposit, I have a UBA bank account and I filled for Form A already but too slow still at adb reviewer. I don’t have a dom account and will I get the black market in cash and then what ? . Go back to your UBA branch and open a domiciliary account and get a dollar ATM card then load your dom account with dollar (gotten from black market), transfer the dollar to your dollar ATM card then use the dollar ATM card to pay for your school fees deposit. I'm not too familiar with UBA procedure though. What I described up there is GTB process for dom account opening if you are a current account holder (you can do all this instantly in your GTB bank app and go pick up your dollar ATM card at the bank -all within 24 hours). |

Yes you can but the entry vignette (or stamp) will be for 30days (1month),unless you want him to abandon his A levels exams.
My advise, apply when he has finished his exams in November and no you don't need to attach his exam details
Cheers Thank you |

homesinabuja: This is not true I have an offer with them and they never requested for IELTS I used my Waec. I also have an offer with them and it is a condition that you must have 7.0 in all elements of the English (MSc. Social Work). I think it depends on your course of study so I will still advise you remove BCU from that list or put a caveat that "it depends on your course of study" in order not to mislead by generalisation |

Hello House,
I have been offered admission for September and intend to travel in August by GOd's grace but my son will be finishing his A'level (Cambridge) by November. Can I apply for his visa now at the same time that I'm applying for mine and then he travel to join me in November at the end of his exam?
If yes do I need to attached his A' level exam registration document or ordinary explanation in the application form suffice? He is a minor.
Your help will be appreciated. |

nnamdijames23: Please I have been on UBA Form A queue for more than a month now and the deadline for deposit is almost here...
Please what should I do?
If I go and use another of my bank account to apply for another Form A, won't it affect the UBA application?
Someone told me that the won't attend to it if they see another application there
Please suggest another option
I am going crazy right now . If you can afford the difference go and purchase pounds from black market and pay your school fees deposit in order to complete your admission/visa processing on time. If the Form M is eventually approve, it can be additional payment for your school fees. Is the saving you will make from the Official rates versus black market rates of your school fees deposit worth the risk of loosing the admission/opportunity? |
