@tpia This is not a silly thread and no one forced you to comment |
I'm sick and my husband took me to his brother's hospoital even though he knows I don't like it. I cannot drive due to my illness but I already called a cab to come and take me to my company's hospital. Do you think am wrong? Will you get medical treatment from your in-law who is a medical doctor? |

I will then go home take my stuff and my kids then move on with my life minus the cheat |
Nice thread with mouth watering dishes ![]() |
Depending on your location, you can make an affidavit at any of the High courts. It shouldn't cost you more than N1,000 |
@Iya Witch You mean you wrote all those blasphemous and spiritual condemnation as a JOKE ![]() Then the JOKE is on you! |
Please which part of Nigeria sells cement for N2,800? ![]() Prices of Cement in Ilorin as at Saturday ranges from N1850 to N1900. Even though this price is still high IMO, We should beware of sensational headline o jare ![]() |

For once I agree completely with the FGN through her Minister of Information. They have nailed the truth on the head. There are so many problem pulling back Nigeria path to development but the northern own seems insurmountable. What with Sharia, Boko Haram (no to western education) no to immunization, early girl-child marriage, women's right to quality education, no to family planning, no to freedom of association or movement (killing of Southerners be it Muslim or Christian etc. All these couple with corruption at the national, state and grassroot level made development to continue to elude the northern part of Nigeria. The FGN need to station the headquarter of National Orientation Agency to Maiduguri. They need to enlighten the grassroot people on the benefits of things they are averse to culturally and religiously if they are serious about development. |
@Poster Was your friend operation fibroid or appendix? She should go to a different hospital if her hospital is not communicating with her. It is her right to know what is wrong with her (if any). If I know her location I may refer her to some reputable Gyn.Anyway, since you said the husband deflowered her then I maintain my previous advice "let her persuade the man to follow her to see a Gyn for a comprehensive test to rule out that the problem is not from him". She should persuade her husband to continue to try for babies; two wrong don't make a right. As for the threat to impregnate another girl, play the waiting game and tell her not to worry it is just a THREAT! She should not start taking panadol before she get headache oh ![]() Let's see if the husband will carry out his threat even when the two of them has gotten a clean bill of health from the Gyn ![]() For the people advising her to see her Pastor; Na wa o Is the Pastor a doctor? Its too early to call in a 3rd party whether Pastor or Counsellor/relations. Unless the husband refuse to get intimate with her and also refuse to go for fertility test will I advise she call her parent into the matter oh! |
@poster Your friend is in a love-less marriage. Husband is a weakling who marry her only as a baby-making machine & probably as a cook not a wife or a patner. If her husband is threathening to get a concubine few months into the marriage then she's got bigger issues to contend with. Oju ti o ba ni kale ki ti aaro se ipin. The marriage has no solid foundation and this may be a wake-up call for her to consider if she still wanna stick to this guy who is already planning to practice for better for stay for worse vamoose! She should however persuade him to go for a comprehensive fertility test to be sure all is well from his end as well. In the interim, let her see a gyn and play the waiting game to see whether shallow hubby will carry out is threat |
@Poster You mean Noodles right? Indomie is not the only brand of Noodles in the market even though its my prefered brand. Have you try fried Noodles as in Fried rice? What about cooking it plain with shredded beef or chicken sauce? |
I don't think the word 'forced' is relevant here. We are talking about a man with a wife; its more of the dad influenced him. It is his call though. Life is all about taking decision and living with the consequence whether right or wrong, good or bad. Your friend need to grow up and grow some balls. He has become too complacent under his father tutelage and roof. He and his wife needs to look for a job ASAP To me his priority is get a temp accomodation, get a job Then may be he may be in a position to consider forgiving his dad or not |
@Iya Witch How do people get initiated as witches? Is it possible for an initiated witch not to be aware that she's been initiated? Do witches do good? Does black or white witches exist? |
He made me wiser I am now analytical Hmmm more later |
Iya Witch is not a joke and neither is she joking. Be careful with your post Witchcraft is real! |
@prophet Where is my own prophecy? |
Is this girl this naive or simply looking for attention? Someone has been stalking you for 6 years and you don't know how to stop him? She should just handover the man details to SSS or even CID at Panti; they will flush him out. If that fails hire a private security guard let them beat the living daylight out of the sicko. He will never remember anything how much more your phone number ![]() |
@Miss*B The beans skin get soft first if you soak for 15 minutes with luke warm water hence they are easy to peel whether by hand, blender or mortar and pestle. I make Akara or Moin Moin on the average of 3 times per week so I know. Its after removing the skin that you soak for a long time 6-8 hours in preparation for blending/grinding |
Eba and bitter leave+ egusi soup with a glass of chilled water |
@poster Soak the beans for 10 to 15 minutes and start rubbing them together. The beans skin should come off easily. The longer you soak the beans the more difficult to peel. I usually do the peeling in the evening and after cleaning/peeling all the beans I will soak them in water overnight (about 8 hours) then blend with a Blender for Akara or Moin moin. Unless you are peeling lots of beans you really don't need mortal & pestle (although the exercise is good for your muscle). You can also try grating the beans gently with the Blender as suggested by another poster. Good luck in your Akara & Moin Moin recipe |
