Lucque: Some of u guys here never cease to amaze wen some coaches brag abt their teams nd how they will go all d way to win games nd trophies... Ud come here nd start saying they only know how to brag or wag their mouths.. Rohr is talking small nd removing d pressure off d players nd allowing dem play their football free of d burden of expectation nd u ppl are complaining... Lemme ask those smart enof to think... Has rohr ever played defensively or played a formation dat looks like we want to sit back nd take a beating even tho he always says we arent favorite??
If u believe dat just because d coach says we arent favorites it will make d players want d trophy any less den ur just not thinking straight
Nd if u believe he will not lose his job if he performs poorly with d team just becos he is calming down expectations den ur just a learner (No offense?)
So ppl should just chill Abeg gustav gimme dat ur L picture Some of us have tried to make the others understand this, to no avail. |

I know weytin they pain some of una, it's because if he had been dropped your favorite boy would have been picked sorry Ighalo will start at Afcon and he'll surely bully Burundi Loud it. |

charlesemeka85: Southampton are regarded as favourites to land Spezia striker David Okereke.
The young forward is a target for Sassuolo, though they're falling behind Saints in the race for his signature.
Okereke favours a move to England and Southampton are happy to outbid all rivals to convince Spezia to sell.
Saints will offer £15m to sign Okereke, with the offer far outstripping what Serie ASassuolo can put together.
Okereke, 21, moved to Italy from Nigeria.

andrew444: Taking 3 strikers to a competition is very very good
Belgium took 3 strikers to the world cup and they are also loaded with wingers
Are you judging onauchu by just a game? if iheanacho made it to the afcon then its monkey dey work and baboon dey chop so you want him to come from no where and proove him self in a friendly then you will use that opportunity to take him, if so then isaac success should also be in afcon
You cant just have a bad form for club side and work in straight to the national team when there are others strikers who did well. God bless you yanfu yanfu. |

Danielnino00: Actually bro there are minnows in Africa football. The problem is that some of these big boys on the continent with some big name players(Senegal CIV, et al) don't always play as a team.. Maybe it has to do with arrogance on the part of the players or poor coaching....
Egypt have never really boost of having the best squad in Africa(as per big name players) but they are the most successful..
I'm not expecting the likes of Madagascar, Burundi Namibia, etc to produce much upset at the AFCON .they will just be tough to beat... If they are tough to beat then it's already an upset. Morocco went on to lose that game to Gambia yesterday. |

Icon79: So you think that this is a well coached team? Listen, winning covers up a lot of things but if you can look beyond the win you'd realize that this team still can't do the basics. They leave a lot of spaces once they re not with the ball. Their off the ball movement is close to zero …. all eyes on d ball without watching the opponent free runners, no shape, can't pass, can't shoot, can't defend, and often don't know where their markers are.
Considering that we've been participating in the WWC for the past 20 years or so; one would expect to see some improvements. Was I expecting too much
O pari The team play is so poor. |

Danielnino00: What did u achieve when the Brazilians were there ?? It's was a better showing. At least our Brazilian boys were scoring direct freekicks week after week. And back then they were not really happy, FCIU was greatly disorganized, they didn't get their wages as at when due. Eventually they left. We will get them back, with a better structure on ground next season we will compete. You'll see. This dash dash will stop. |

Danielnino00: Meanwhile, FC Ifeanyi Ubah have done nothing but donate three points to all other teams in the super 6... 3 points is certain for Rangers now and that would put pressure on Akwa to beat Enyimba which could still end up favouring Pillars. ..
IMO it would have been better if all the games today where played at the same time in different venues We will go and bring back those Brazil boys. Next season we will be unplayable. Just watch. |

Interesting to note that individuals here now concur with my line of reasoning concerning setting up youth leagues. Set up something of a very good standard for both the boys and girls and watch them compete better on the world stage. It's not magic, It's Science. On the business side it's a profitable investment |

mostob: I have gone through some posts here on how our formation may not suited our 2 best wingers Henry and Samuel. IMO I think we can accommodate both in the same line up even when playing 3 at the back. Both are not defensively solid so this formation might suit them. .......Uzoho....
Ekong.....Balogun....Omeruo...
.Simon....Ndidi....Iwobi/mikel....Aina
..Samuel. ..Onuachu.....Henry.
I pick Onuachu because of his fondness to drop deep which will allow Henry and Samuel to drift inside. The question now is who can create goalscoring chances most?Mikel/Iwobi. this formation can only be effective against teams with blunt attack. I stand to be corrected though Excellent! I didn't think of this variant previously. A formation that won Chelsea the league just few seasons back under Conte. You've brought in a new perspective! |

krattoss: Esperance Sportive De Tunis have refused to replay the CAF Champions League Final. . " We don't want to play. We won the trophy, we took the medals, we were given a go ahead by the officials and we are champions. For the fact that the VAR wasn't there is not our fault. . It's CAF's duty to make sure that everything is perfect. They found out that the VAR wasn't available before the match started but nothing was said. We are not going to play another Final. If CAF or FIFA has a problem with our final decision, let them play their own Final with the referees and VAR”.
