Igbo transcends nationality or indeed ethnicity. Igbo is an IDENTITY and a strong one at that.
You are or are not, no middle ground.


However, in this case she has explained the name is from the Igbo people of Nigeria. Why pick an Igbo name in particular, who knows for sure?! My guess is that her mum may be an Igbo or is related to the Igbo people.

Akpeyi looked more solid than Uzoho yesterday. I know he wasn't tested much but when he was, he showed pretty sharp reflexes.

And he seems to be good and long throws and clearances, both things Uzoho is horrible at.
