Most of the responses to the poster's problem, I must say, are out of context. The op is not telling us what he has been spending. He is projecting his budget based on the new fuel price.

I see people telling him his car is bad to gulp 35k fuel a week. Guys, a simple Toyota Camry has 70litre tank, to fill up in the past was 14k average, now it costs 35k!!!! It will still finish within a week, especially with Ajah traffic.

I think the problem is the post is too premature. If you had posted this by June ending, the responses would have been very different. Bus fare from Oshodi to ajah this morning was 1500 one way. Imagine you go 3-4k on public transport daily, you will understand the budget.

I have gone through the post my husband have posted in order to give you an answer. His focus from all his mentioned is on his country and the danger Russia posses to them and misconception Africans who don't know the history of his country and the region.

We reside in Vilnius, Lithuania and also stay in Nigeria many months of the year due to work. I can boldly say the people of that country are very happy and glad to be in the EU and NATO. They have experienced economic growth and have over time developed the capacity to defend themselves.

How Nigerians defend evil is not surprising because after all the tribal divide within Nigeria have sown the seed of hate. Assuming Lithuania wasn't part of NATO, they would have suffered the same faith as Ukraine. But I am happy they are and I can happily live peaceful with my husband and kids in Vilnius.

Before you rush to reply me, note that democracy and development do not mean the same thing. China is not a democracy. Qatar is not a democracy. UAE is not. Are these aboved mentioned nations developed? This should help you understand that democracy does not necessarily bring development.

The money Nigeria has wasted on conducting elections could lift tens of millions out of poverty if it was made available to rising entrepreneurs. Abeg I nor fit explain again jare.

If I may add, you think if huge churches like Winners Chapel, RCCG and others practised democracy they would be as massive as they are today.
