Car Talk › Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by Itsrm(m): 8:55am On Jan 01, 2023 |
bobbit04: Hello, Nissan/Infiniti lovers. Interested in getting Infiniti G37x 2010 and above Read carefully I don't know what car you've been driving but you should note that this is quite a complex car and not your regular corolla. You should have that at the back of your mind. 2012/2013 models are most preferable. The earlier ones are prone to steering lock and gallery gasket issues. The steering lock is a device that locks the steering when you park the car preventing theft. If it fails, you will not be able to start the car. There are work arounds here and there but not everyone is lucky to escape replacing the unit. The gallery gasket in itself is not very expensive but quite difficult to get to. Best is to just get a 2013 model and avoid all the issues entirely. Ensure you have a sound mechanic with a good scanner that can do basic things like reprogramming your keys, BCM or ECM. These are things that can keep the vehicle grounded if they fail. If you don't live in Lagos, getting parts is quite difficult but you can always contact Tpound here on nairaland to get from Ladipo and waybill to you. I 100% recommend. Its an extremely sweet car to drive. Glides through cars like you're flying an airplane Good luck |

larride: Tinubu built 5 general hospital and 49 Primary health centers during his tenure and renovated 19 General hospitals that were in bad shape before he became Governor.
He also rebuilt the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital that was abandoned in the 1980s when a section of it caught fire. That same HOSPITAL is now one of the best maternity hospital in the country.
Tinubu also upgraded Ikeja General Hospital to a teaching hospital and established the college of medicine.
At LASUTH, Tinubu built the following:
- Eye Institite - New A/E complex - 4 story building pediatrics and family medicine complex - BT ward - Sports complex - Histoppathology Laboratory - Established LASEMBUS (Ambulance Service) - 12 public blood banks
He also constructed:
- Renal Dialysis ward at Gbagada hospital annex - Dental Clinic at Surulere General hospital - Doctors quarters at Isolo and Agbowa - Theatre complex at Orile Agege
There are several other health policies also like
- Blindess prevention programme (Jigi Bola) - Free health scheme was improved upon (Free treatment for children aged 12 and below and free treatment for adults aged 60 and above) - Roll back malaria programme
Etc
This is just health sector alone, if you want we can do sector by sector. I'm game if you are game. disstroy Any rebuttal? |

raumdeuter: Regarding the G5 governors. It still doesn't make sense for them to endorse Tinubu especially Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi cos Tinubu cannot win their states and why piss off their current party PDP and piss off the majority of electorate in the state that will vote Obi
To me the rumored deal is fake news until it's made official through a joint statement
What makes sense is for each governor to follow the tide in their respective states
Makinde openly support Tinubu, Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi openly support Obi. While Ortom and Wike remain neutral. Wike can still support Obi with very little backlash but Ortom fighting for Wike to oppose Ayu an indigene of Benue is risky This is the only thing that makes sense because I honestly do not know how Wike plans to sell Tinubu in this State. Following the tide as you said will also give them a soft landing whoever wins. If Tinubu wins, Tinubu rewards Makinde and protects the interest of his friends If Obi wins, he rewards those who supported him and protects the interest of Makinde. Win win for all of them. |

BlueRayDick: LOL
The same way u projected Wike winner of PDP presidential primaries because some delegates were putting on Wike 2023 campaign fez caps. The G5 will endorse another candidate, openly support him and heaven will not fall. PDP will be powerless to stop them. That's the point. |

BlueRayDick: WTF is this ? Being a lawyer and being surrounded by lawyers means u will a court case? Lmao Yes. It means he has people who influences judgments in his favour. Going to the court against him is almost a guaranteed loss. He hardly loses court cases. The current CJN has even been caught on video saying he's in support of the G5. Good luck to the PDP. The G5 will support another candidate not named Atiku and heaven will not fall |

BlueRayDick: You think whoever want's to substitute a candidate will write to INEC alone and not go to court and get court order? Waste of time. You think Wike does not know this already? You will hardly win him in a court case. Person wey dey win court cases against the Federal Government. He is a lawyer, surrounded by lawyers from head to toe. I wish PDP goodluck. They will need lots of it. |

BlueRayDick: So as it stands all the G-5 but Wike are in a precarious situation as far as endorsement of presidential candidate other than Mikano man; Atiku is concerned.
1. The Enugu state governor has is the PDP senatorial candidate in his constituency. If he endorses anybody other than Atiku, the party can expel him and then write INEC that they do not have a flagbearer in the race for the seat.
2. The Benue state governor has is the PDP senatorial candidate in his constituency. If he endorses anybody other than Atiku, the party can expel him and then write INEC that they do not have a flagbearer in the race for the seat.
3. The Abia state governor has is the PDP senatorial candidate in his constituency. If he endorses anybody other than Atiku, the party can expel him and then write INEC that they do not have a flagbearer in the race for the seat.
4. The Oyo state governor is going for a second term in office as a PDP flagbearer . If he endorses anybody other than Atiku, the party can expel him and then write INEC that they do not have a flagbearer in the race for the seat.
PS: All these will only play out if Atiku's money is as "long" as we've been told in the past and long enough to tempt their respective ward chairmen to initiate their expulsion from the party. (We all know the role Oshiomole's ward chairman played in him losing out as the party's chairman) You have been following PDPs propaganda media outlets Read from INEC But the electoral commission said neither Mr Osuntokun nor his party can withdraw his candidacy.
INEC’s Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye, told PREMIUM TIMES that Mr Osuntokun remains ZIP’s Ekiti Central Senatorial candidate. Mr Okoye said no individual or political party can at this point withdraw, submit or substitute the name of any candidate taking part in the 2023 general elections. For INEC to amend the names of candidates already submitted at this point, he said, it must be through the order of a court of law.
“The law is very clear,” he said in a telephone interview on Thursday.
“The period for substitution and the period for withdrawal in our (INEC) timetable and schedule of activities as well as in the electoral act, has elapsed.” |

This fuel situation is really biting hard. 13000 fuel at 300 naira per litre barely crossed half tank. I will have to fill the tank with like 22000. I use the full tank in roughly one week. That's almost 90k on fuel alone in a month. How much con remain from the salary? To buy at NNPC at 179, you have to sleep there overnight and they may come by 7am and say they are not selling. Now I wish I have GloriousGbolas connect |
