Igile:You should have known by now why most content are posted online. It is not a date and the "victim", boyfriend is the director of the script. No need to get personal, it is mostly business. |
Jestin:He would lose his source of income if he relocates. |
cyprus000:Is that all? |
ogbe88:Begging a father not to abandon his own children? And you see nothing bad in it? In the US, he would be forced by the court to pay. In short, child support will be automatically deducted from his income. If he can't afford it, the debt will keep piling up until he can. |
Villa12:I understand Nigeria has a similar legal environment but I didn't use it as an example because of money influence on the courts and the fact that the average person don't want anything to do with the courts so people get away with many things. That is why you will see a man "punishing" his estrange wife by witholding his responsibilities to his kids. Then the wife family will now be raising elders committee to go beg the man to temper justice with mercy. |
imam07:I think you should look in the mirror. U said nobody has d right to ask for DNA. That is when there is no any issue on ground like this. Please tell, what is the issue on ground? I would have called the judge who issued such order an idiot if not that I have not seen the court filings or the judgment's copy. Do u think d govt or d court doesn't know what they are doing. There are lot of times the government and the court act foolishly. There is a about 3 cases on front page. I am surprised you think the court or the government are some perfect entity whose judgment are always right. Wumi herself has let us know mohbad is not d father of d child d moment she has been running away from DNA. Abusing her father in law is also a sign mohbad is not d father. Please what is your business with Mohbad's family issue? What's the connection? If indeed Mohbad is not the father, then why is the father seeking for DNA? Evil women like u full nairaland. Even some of d women initially supporting wumi have withdrawn their support. You really think everybody who believes that DNA of a child is nobody's business but the parents are women? You can't be more wrong, not every man is blinded by primitive sentiment. Mr. not evil man, have you conducted DNA test on your kids, if yes, how many of your neighbors have you shared it with? As to those who allegedly withdrew their support, they are obviously charlatans who don't know their left from their right. Nobody who rationally defended the right to privacy of Wumi would change their minds. Check the so-called mind changers, they were driven by selfish sentiments, not reason. What is right is right, regardless of what some internet mob says. |
Ashawoman82:I realize many of you only know the imaginary America projected by online "red pillers" and other fringe groups. The bold shows you know little to nothing about US laws. You see paternity fraud is already a crime in the US on paper but guess how many women have ever been convicted? That is an assignment for you. Go and make ur research, u can sue your wife for emotional damage if u as a man suspect her to commit paternity fraud... The US is a working country, no be Naija. In the US, you can sue someone for saving you from drowning. A thief can sue an home owner, if he gets injured while robbing a house. In short, you can sue a person for any reason as long as you have about $50 for filing. Nothing special about it. It doesn't mean they have committed a crime or you will be compensated at the end of the day. You may even be fined for starting the suit in the first place. Now, to the issue at hand. If a child is born during a marriage, it legally belongs to the father regardless of who the actual father. This is general knowlege. I know it doesn't feel right based on your Nigerian mentality, but the law is the law. Even if you sue, that doesn't terminate your legal responsibilities until the child turns 18. But if you are unmarried, you may fight being designated the father using DNA as your weapon. |
komzy589:You are obviously an imbe cile. Worst still you are still afflicted with Dunnie-Kruger disease. No. Child support is not optional unless the woman refuse to claim it. And in the case of marriage, paternity of the child does not matter. In divorce cases, the only reason why men pay child support money is to have a right to also own a child. [b]No man anywhere in the world is mandated to own a child if they don’t want to.[\b]You have now elevated your foolishness to unseen level. Even if we could forgive your earlier statement and blame it on early developmental syndromes, how do we explain this latest one? |
tollyboy5:You don't have to take my word for it. I would have asked that you confirm from any friend or relative living in the states but that is not necessary. Google is your friend. |
aktolly54:You people will create an imaginary "abroad" in your mind and use it to argue blindly. Nobody dares request for DNA of a child in the real abroad in order to determine the guilt or innocence of a third party that has not even been charged for any crime. That is unthinkable. Let me even clear your doubt further. In the US, any child born after legal marriage automatically belongs to the father regardless of what DNA says. He will be forced to cater for the child until 18 even if the child belongs to another sperm donor. You see, village mentality does not work in "abroad". |
What has the father being waiting for all these months chasing social media clout when he knew what to do? It will be interesting to see the reasoning of the magistrate for this order. |
nope |
FG, what is another term for selling a product lower than the production cost using government money? |
mustbewell:Accuse of him of what crime? Impregnating another one? He doesn't seem to care about such "accusations" as he always accept the product. |
HeadNigga:So you want Atiku to be the 2027 flag bearer? |
Biodun556:No, subsidy stays unless you want petrol to be at at least #800 per liter. |
BadMaster:The 2 countries share no borders. The only "war" they will have is exchange of missiles, drones and maybe fighter jets. Of course, Iran could move troops into Syria but Asad will be against it to prevent further instability. Such adhoc troops lacking crucial defense backup will be mopped up. Those waiting for invasion from any of the sides will wait for a very long time. |

lowkey0147:Compel which market? The Federal Government owns the oil and it can direct where it should be sold or not. Why are you angry that local refineries may be prioritised and why are you crying on behalf of the imaginary market? Use ur ewedu head for once.I knew you were very dull given your initial response, I mentioned you so you don't mislead unsuspecting readers. |
Fake news. We all know all Anambra residents love sit at home. In fact, they use to declare it as Ofe n sala day. |
lowkey0147:Mr competitor, do you own a refinery? Do you even understand the topic? |
olaniyilukman:You just proved her point. Mature people don't suffer and keep quiet. |
TonyeBarcanista:What is Russia doing in your list? |
The statement said that embarrassing the testifier publicly was never intended and that the action of the Senior Pastor was based on his and the church's aversion to seeming mediocrityIf you don't want poor people(aka mediocre) to give testimony, screen them ahead of time. Don't embarrass them in public. From her looks and demeanour, that woman may be a dyslexic/autist who struggled to graduate. She has gone through enough only to be humiliated by the "man of god" turned detective. SMH |
Segzy19:They did. If not many would have died. |
So soldiers behave same way everywhere? I thought there are special places in Nigeria where the army is extra nice. |
immortalcrown:All justice are selective. Some armed robbers are in jail while others are walking free. I am sure you don't crucify the police for such. And this has nothing to do with "saner clime" or not. Trump is facing multiple legal challenge regarding his business for the misdeeds that many businessmen in his category does and got away with it. Some black weed smokers are languishing in US jails while others were pardoned by Obama and Biden. It would have been a different issue if he was convicted of a crime that is not in our law book or was innocent. Prosecutors choose who to charge or not. It is standard for non-violent crimes. BTW, Bobrisky is not the first to be jailed for spraying Naira. |
Busybody online fathers seeking for DNA. Over to you! |
hmm |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Africa is not aligning. It has never aligned in modern history. Africa accepts aid from anywhere it can. Even during the cold war, it played both sides. If you are referring to the 3 juntas, they are exceptions whose policies are nothing but survivalist in nature. Time will tell. |
latonione:The idea of our oil being sold into the future is pure exaggeration. Yes, some oil was used for loan but it is a very small part of our overall production. You are right though, we have the most lazy and incompetent journalist in the world, they never fact check their stories. As long as the headline is enticing, they are satisfied. |
