He had his own parallel primary. So, what is the use of "taming him" with impeachment when it doesn't have any effect? Obaseki would have to be daft to be wasting his time on pointless processes. Shuaibu is going to be impeached, it is not taming or warning, it is punishment. |

If you have money to feed yourself how on earth can you have the danm money to extend your visa ? Not all of them are once legal immigrants. Some went through Libaya boats. Another person of interest should be Tompolo of Tantita security, he operates an illegal armed security outfit after he was awarded contract worth billions for pipeline protection by the Federal Government illegally You want government to invite pro-government millitants and leave the criminal gangs alone? Why not also invite the police and the navy for questioning since they also operate in the area? SMH |

DeepSight: What are constituency projects and are they constitutional. You will need to ask the supreme court about its constitutionality. FYI, constituency projects money are not given to any senator, they merely highlights the projects they want executed in their constituency. It is then up to the executives whether to fund the projects or not. From the above, you ca deduce for yourself if it is illegal or not. |

Then why the constant use of "budget padding" phrase? What I expect educated fellows to discuss is the specific issues/budgetary provisions they consider problematic and not the asinine noise about padding. |

Again, there is nothing like budget padding. The senators are just doing their jobs!
It is a huge shame on our country when even journalists don't know the functions of the legislative arm.
It is one thing to oppose certain changes in the budget, it is another to think it is a crime for senators to alter budgetary provisions. |

First of all, kidnapping under any guise is illegal. Since the primary report was that of kidnapping, it is even surprising that the army did not go with full force the first time around.
Now, all the high chiefs are persona non-grata. They no longer have a home or village and will remain on the run indefinitely until arrested.
Taking stupid decisions for temporary gains is never a wise move.
I am interested in the 500 villages who were allegedly shot at. |

Putindbutt: Allen Onyema's recent outburst against Tinubu's appointees, particularly Festus Keyamo shows that Onyema is a greedy and mischievous capitalist. Ever since the minister of Aviation insisted that no local airline will be used as the national carrier of the country, Onyema has been going about the media blackmailing the minister. Airpeace is the only airline that has enjoyed the biggest assistance and patronage of the federal government out of all other local arlines yet this man remains ungrateful, he wanted to have it all. It would be unfair if FG singled out Airpeace as national carrier thereby neglecting other competent local airlines. i suggest Allen Onyema put his emotion in check and face his business and stop blackmailing the minister. Does it make sense justifying how no local airline will be made national carrier? |

Mayeldah: Bello Turji is a known bandit from Zamfara state that have killed both soldiers and other security personnel. There are many others like him known in the North. You didn't answer my question. Should the army attack an Edo village because an Edo person commits a crimein Abuja forest? sometime last year, 32 soldiers were killed in Niger state, their aircraft gunned down. Niger state communities knows where these criminals hide in the bush, even the army knows but they did nothing. Mr. mind reader, are you saying the entire community knows where he is or some people knows? If it is the latter, how is that the fault of the army? Is there any criminal that doesn't have civillian allies? Do you suggest that the army starts torturing every member of the community until one of them breaks? If that happen, do you think Turji would be stupid as to stay in one place? The fact that you think Turji have a permanent base shows your limited knowledge of the bandits war. |

Mayeldah: so bandits have no village or home but anytime they are caught the Northern Muslims come to their aid to free them. Bandits are Nigerians, they have villages and they are known to Northerners.
The army will be the losers in this game, because they allowed Religious and Political extremists in the North to control and infiltrate them. So if a person from Edo commits crime in Abuja forest. The army should go and attack his village in Edo? |

gidgiddy: Simple to understand that Soldiers going to burn down communities is illegal and wrong is hard for some to understand I see you sidestepped my question. It is obvious you knew you were lying when you claimed soldiers are being killed every day in the north. Now, to your warcrime cry, what is the punishment for burning down houses during a raid? Death penalty, life imprisonment or a fine? And which court would hear the case of huts being burned during a military raid? As I schooled you during the Kanu's hysterical claims about extraordinary rendition, extra-national laws are useless when national security is concerned except in very few cases such as genocide and even in such cases the culprit countries have to be in the bad books of the powerful countries to be punished for it. Your right or wrong judgment is irrelevant to your accusation of war crimes. |

Just a few years ago, a serving Major General in the Nigerian Army, General Hassan Ahmed, was ambushed and killed by armed bandits in the North, nothing happened in the community Where exactly are the soldiers being killed every week in the north? It shouldn't be too hard for you to name a place where the community members gathered to kill soldiers in the north. If you mean those killed while fighting bandits. The last time I checked bandits don't operate from villages or towns, they are based in the forest. And your charge of war crime is funny. What does it mean to attack? |
