Politics › Re: Blockchain Technology In Election by ivolt: 6:36pm On Mar 06, 2019 |
Lampert505: I'm pretty sure you know nothing about blockchain
This blockchain technology has being used in some western country during their election, try read more about blockchain buddy On the contrary, I know a lot about blockchain. It is being hyped to fleece the tech-ignorant populace in the west and elsewhere. These merchants of misinformation have successfully conned many people including supposedly smart bureaucrats into buying the hype. Before you talk about security, remember that blockchain is merely hiding behind cryptography which is an independent field on its own. Of course, it added a "decentralized" peers confirmation layers but this is mostly cosmetic when applied to elections since humans can always change the rules when the stakes are high, all that is needed is the cooperation of majority peers to tweak the system irrespective of the underlying result. Like other people, you mistake the adoption of technology for its superiority and efficiency. Even if most western countries hold an election by counting people on the line, the process will still largely retain its integrity. What will make blockchain worse in a flawed electoral system like ours is that most electorate cannot even tell when things go wrong, they will have to rely on some "experts" to decide on the system's integrity. At least, the people can tell when a ballot lacks thumbprint, not so with the technology. The blockchain is no better for any election than the counting of heads. |

Politics › Re: DNA Results (is There Political Manipulation?) by ivolt: 5:53pm On Mar 06, 2019 |
Litmus: I`ve recently been following African Americans and Caribbeans checking out their DNA in order to pinpoint what part of Africa the majority of thire ancestors originated. To cut to the chase, a pattern is emerging, which is drawing increasing curiosity if not concern. The pattern is that in almost every DNA result Update, all those that had majority Nigeria ethnicity has seen this diminished in favour of Cameroon,Togo and Benin. Many African Americans on these YouTube channels often seem bemused and questioning. One couple Called Bronson and Jazz where particularly questioning. The girl`s Nigerian DNA was redused from something like 27% to nothing and the percentage of Cameroon increased by I think the same percentage. The girl wanted to know what was going on!!! Actually so do I.
Anyway, having in the past discovered the sneaky nature of many of the people that live in the nation's of Africa outside Nigeria, a suspicions took root in me and after some thoughts I began to form an idea what may be happening. This is it: I believe that the DNA of Igbos and the people's of South South are being given to Cameroon. This was the first cheat and now I believe a second cheating is being perpetrated and that is Youroba DNA is being gradually attributed to Benin Republic and,to some extent,Togo.
Firstly, the reason I drew reference to the sneaky nature of our African neighbors is because I suspect that when DNA companies hand over testing kits to community leaders or whomever in some of these African nations to go test people in their areas , if Nigerians happened to be living among them ( after all you Niaralanders keep stating that there are millions of Nigerians in Ghana, South Africa, Guinea, Cameroon, Kenya and everywhere), these testers would not record that the Nigerians in their Nation are Nigerians instead they would record them as ethnic Ghanaian ,Togolese, Benineonese, Cameroonian or whatever.
The above is one thought. Another thought is that the DNA companies are being influenced unethically by political forces that know the power and potential of these test and are being manipulative for reasons best known to them. I have my idea what this could be but it's best I keep it to myself for now. I don't buy this conspiracy. DNA ancestry is still a developing technology run by profit-driven companies and since their results is dependent on private submissions, there is no reason to presume ill-will behind result discrepancies. |

hilario12: This your post is true. My fiancee don't use to ask for money..intact she quarrel with me anytime I send her money willingly. But she do buy me gift...like perfume, shoe...stuffs like that. She always says she will only collect from me after our marriage. That she didn't know am gonna be rich when she accepted to b my girl in the first place. So even now that she knows I have she still keep reluctant. Now she wants us to get married and she appears to truly love me from my own judgement o.
My fear now is after marriage...I don't know how her demands will be You don't have to give her money directly. Buy her gifts instead but if she rejects your gift or ask you to stop, then you should think twice about moving forward because gifting is about feelings not the gift itself. |

Rejecting a partner's money or gifts is a silent code for lack of interest and potential breakup.
If she doesn't want her boyfriends' money, kindly stay single and enjoy your independence with peace of mind.
I see no reason why she doesn't want money before marriage but wants money after marriage when she could happily maintain her independence.
This post is directed at financially stable guys and not those struggling to make a living. |
