ElsonMorali:
If the candidate has served her country under the guidance of the NYSC, then the issuance of that certificate to that candidate becomes a right. God forbid, but if she had died in an accident while on duty, wouldn't the same NYSC have issued a new pair of uniforms and boots for her?

The lawyers only need to look at the laws establishing NYSC and check their roles and functions. I'm sure certifying which university is worthy to produce candidates is not one of their job functions. They don't have such expertise nor the manpower to engage in such.

Besides they should have rejected them BEFORE and not AFTER wasting one year of their lives.

Time is money. Sue the hell out of them.
Suppose I present a certificate from Elson Morali University of Technology, Benin Republic(It costs less than a $100 to make one).
Why should NYSC issue me a certificate if they found out that the university is fake?

Where in the constitution or our laws is that written?

Sue them. NYSC isn't charged with verification of whether a university is good enough/accredited or not. If her university has given her a certificate and she presented same to the NYSC BEFORE and not AFTER the service and they accepted her, then what are we talking about here. Sue the pants off of them. Get a lawyer and SUE THEM. Don't just come here and tell us about it. I repeat, SUE THEM.
Do you really think that is how the law works?
NYSC certificate is not a right, it is a privilege.

MylezKayn:
The truth of the matter is that there's no tribe or ethnic group called Hausa. What actually exists are native tribes which existed centuries before Fulani came to Nigeria. These indigenous tribes had their language and culture before the Jihad of Usman Dan Fodio. So as time went on Hausa as a language spread across the Northern Part of the country as a common medium of Communication. So those being called Hausa people today are actually indigenous people who speak Hausa and are distinct culturally from Fulani people
Dan Fodio did not bring the Hausa language to the north.
The indigenous people mostly spoke Hausa before Dan fodio arrived.

The kind of leader I have been hoping for. He got there just 30 days ago and he has been able to state categorically the basic salary and allowances all other lawmakers have been hiding for years.

I pray he lives up to full expectations because this was how I tripped for Okorocha and his philanthropic moves. But he ended up being an average Nigerian leader with stupid imposition of his son in law as against his people's wish and statue building as if his life depended on it.

All the best, Ogbeni Akin. Remember to keep to your words.
I expect him to move a motion to slash lawmakers salary to less than 500K a month.
Anything less, he is no different from the other.

labour for only what you can eat and have fun with fear of God..by this wisdom you will be fulfilled

some things are better you do it now or forever hold your peace....

Just look at how Busola whose husband was proud he married a Virgin years ago came back to say she was raped years before her husband married her a Virgin

She's successful called hubby a liar in front of the whole world

The children may yet be ridiculed in school,

Even her unborn generation will come to read the story and join the debate, whether it was actually a rape or consentual sex
Cowards die a thousand times.
I know you are shocked because Busola has done something you can never
imagine doing. Outing a rapist after so many years.

All you care about is living a life of pretense because of what people will say.

Travel › Re: The New Nigerian International Passport: The Truth And The Lies By AutoReportNG by ivolt: 10:16am On Jul 13, 2019
Look, if you go far back in history, most Nigerian tribes migrated from somewhere and came to where they are now...as did many other African tribes.
Really?
Why don't you move to SA or the US and use this argument for citizenship?

The Lingala of the DR Congo came originally from what is now Nigeria for example.

I know the Fulani herdsmen have commited lots of crimes, and yes, they are wrong. So also have other tribes against the FUlanis. It does not make taking the laws into the hands by anyone right.
Who cares where the Lingala migrated from.
Can you list the tribes that committed crimes against the Fulanis?
Hint: Fighting invaders is not a crime. Even in the most civilized part of the world,
trespassing is a crime let alone invasion of space.

So, stop the bigotry. For all I know, your tribe migrated from somewhere else and came here. I know of one Southern Kaduna tribe that claims to have come from Egypt centuries ago. Does that make them foreigners.
Those tribes are not foreigners because they are not trying to take over land from the locals.
Common sense will tell you

Put pressure on your legislator to pass bills to strenghten the police. We all benefit from a peaceful country. Not from a replay of Nazi-like tactics.

Know that the Rwanda genocide started when some Hutu were calling Tutusi Ethiopians....
You must be naive to think that "strengthening" the police will change anything
against a group who lives in the bush and can cross Nigerian border undetected.

It is even pathetic that you are pushing the blame to the victims to put pressure on legislators.

This Hutu-Tutsi line is stale, no reasonable person should expect a Rwanda scenario
between 4% Fulani and 96% Nigerians.

The essence of this research is not be a mouth for the FG or for Nigerian Immigration or any party but let us set the record right for facts and for posterity... Base on we have seen so far, it seems all the geo zones are captured, I may be wrong and if I am, please correct me, I will look into that...
Nobody ever claimed that only the Fulanis are on the passport.
Please if you have seen such, please provide the source.

For S/West... There is the Eyo Masquerade, Yoruba cultural dance
For Igbos... Their cultural dance
For Benin (South) ... Benin Arts
Hausas... The Herdsmen etc
The National Assembly (A unifying factor)
For the South South, I can't recall on this, once I see their representative, I will revert

That's all I can recall for now... But I think all the 6 zones are captured, sentiments apart
Herdsmen are not Hausas, they are Fulanis.
While Hausas make up 25% of Nigeria, Fulanis are a mere 4%.
I see no sense in placing Fulanis who are a minority above the majority Hausa people.
This same lopsided arrangement is also found in the Nigeria political scene.

In the old passport, only 4 cultures were represented including Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and a South-South which
make sense given the economic contribution and population in the country.

The worst aspect of your report is including an American passport with cowboys on it.
This makes it look like a sponsored post designed to draw a false equivalence.

This is strictly a Nigerian issue.
Can you honestly claim that cowboys and herdsmen are even remotely close
in terms of their national history, outlook and economic contributions in their respective country?

What you have done here is to create a problem that didn't exist(only herdsmen are on the new passport)
and attempt to solve it using half-truth.
