Earthbound: From my interaction with the opposite gender, I've come to discover there are three types of feminists.
1. The women who work hard for everything they enjoy. They rarely do freebies. They're icons in their professional field. They are a product of the school of Amazonian thought. Strong women, you may call them.
2. The women who have been abused and have experienced a dark, dark side of men. Their views will never change and would even abandon rational thinking just to take side in a gender related dispute. A lot of them are usually bisexual or gay. If you gain their trust, they are amazing friends.
3. The attaches. They have no idea what feminism is. They want gender equality but want a man to open the door for them. They preach gender equality online but in reality they're asking a man for a 'favour' on whatsapp. These women are very cheap. They claim to despise men but depend on several men for their upkeep. I fear these ones.
Whether you agree or not, every self acclaimed feminist falls into one of these categories. Does it matter? |

I bet you that, most said cases of women passing off another man’s child on their hubby, had something to do with how irresponsible said hubby is/was, as the case may be. I disagree, no smart woman will pass off her child to an irresponsible fellow. If there is a choice between two men, the more responsible one get the child because nobody likes to suffer. |

OkaNaUbe: And of you have been googling Linda ikeji, you would have seen when she made comments on feminism but she turned around and realised that she needs a man child in her life. I am waiting for your source where she declares herself a feminist. And note: Feminism doesn't mean I don't need a man, only a nun, lesbian or asexual person will say such. Feminism roughly means: I am not inferior to anybody and will only do the things I like to do, not out of fear or expectation. |

Elder001: Asia Argento's case doesn't in anyway invalidate the me-too movement but it seems you're not comprehending my posts.
She's a rapist and rapists don't deserve to be in sane societies.
I don't know why you quoted me in the first place because whether I invalidate the me-too movement of not it's inconsequential, I'm irrelevant -so you say... why do you still bother yourself quoting an irrelevant individual?
Move on, I hate people who defend rapists because of their gender.
I'm done with you . There are only a handful of people who decide whether a person belong to the society or not, the judges. If you believe your opinion is inconsequential, you will either have to wait for the authorities or force them to act. Nothing outside these 2 actions will change Argento's reality but you already knew that. |

Jaqenhghar: God bless you sister. I was discussing this with one "feminist" If you interview 5 femi ists you will hear 5 different definitions of feminism. How can you advocate for something you cant properly define. For some femi ism is giving women opportunities as men. There are those who say women are equal to men, some say women are better than men, some advocate for an annihilation of men altogether. We have the opportunists. Those who use feminism to make money. They claim to be a voice for the down trodden women and encourage women to not respect their husbands, meanwhile they are loving respectful women in their homes. In fact you will NEVER see a woman whose husband is rich forming feminist. Its usually the heartbroken or the ones with deadbeat spouses Feminism has a specific definition, it is an English word and you don't need to interview anyone to get its meaning. Which of the following is not a christian. 1. Believes that Jesus died for his sins 2. Believer 1 but don't go to church 3. Believes 1 and also see evangelism is a commandment tru christian must follow 4. Believes 1 and thinks Tithing should be personal 5. Believes 1 and thinks tithes must be given to a church Answering the above will clear your understanding of the meaning of words. |

Celebrities › Re: Linda Ikeji Sacks Theo Ukpaa Over Rape Accusation By Emilia Samuel by ivolt: 11:24am On Aug 30, 2018 |
Elder001: The bulk of evidence available are enough to nail Asia Argento.. she didn't even have pictorial evidence or whatever against Weinstein but we all believed her and still do This is what I suspect all along, you and many others think Argento is a kind of judge which she is not. She has no legal authority to convict or acquit. Whether you believed her or not is inconsequential. Aside in public space, her word has no meaning on the life of Harvey Weinstein. Harvey is currently in court for rape, but guess what, Argento is not even part of the case because no sane judge will convict a man because someone say they were raped some years back. So why was Argento complaining when she had no legal case? Because the #metoo movement was never about getting a conviction, it is about creating awarenessthat it is wrong to use authority or workplace privilege to sexually harass women. If a perpetrator gets sued in the process, that is a secondary effect and I would never expect perpetrators to be convicted(at least those with good lawyers) because the cases are not black and white. but she's a Motherfvcking hypocrite.
Stop defending nonsense. You are derailing from the initial discussing, which is about indirectly delegitimizing the #metoo movement because of Argento. I don't care what happens to Argento but I do care that some people are feeling that "oh Argento is also a criminal therefore other abusers aren't as evil as they are being painted". If all she gets from this accusation is being called a hypocrite, don't you think that will be a great outcome for her? |
Celebrities › Re: Linda Ikeji Sacks Theo Ukpaa Over Rape Accusation By Emilia Samuel by ivolt: 10:50am On Aug 30, 2018 |
Elder001: Young man, read carefully and comprehend before making baseless claims.
I didn't attack the #metoo movement I only attacked the hypocrisy of both Asia Argento, US feminists and authorities.
The fact that Asia Argento is also a rapist doesn't in anyway invalidate the numerous accusations against Harvey Weinstein. Of course, you didn't attack the #metoo movement but you attacked "US feminists" whatever that means. But I would be careful in maligning millions of people who I don't know based on their loose association. If a father who reported a street thug for robbery refuses to report his own son for robbery, people will tag him a hypocrite but this response is meaningless. If you want real progress, you have to ask for it and you get it only by facing the real criminal. I expect the authorities to act when they get evidence that can secure a conviction. Many people want rapid action taken as if the world most dangerous terrorist has just been outed. There is nothing wrong with this only that they waste their energy in calling out "feminists" while the perpetrator gets a secondary mentioning. |
Celebrities › Re: Linda Ikeji Sacks Theo Ukpaa Over Rape Accusation By Emilia Samuel by ivolt: 10:08am On Aug 30, 2018 |
Elder001: Asia Argento that spearheaded the accusations against Harvey Weinstein last year was accused of rape last 2weeks and it's funny how they're handling the case with all pictorial and substantial evidence available.
Even feminists where saying people should be calm, the same people who wanted to behead Harvey Weinstein. What do you expect Asia Argento friends to do, side with her accuser? It is funny that most people dragging Argento spend more energy attacking the #metoo campaign instead of facing the accused as if Argento's guilt somehow invalidates the campaign. |

TWservices: Lol. My dear, you have gotten half the point.
Yes, Labour law permits an employer to sack an employee for any reason. Labour law does not permit an employer to defame an employee while disengaging the employee. It's one thing for LI to sack the guy and it's another for LI to state that she was sacking him for a reason bordering on criminal conduct and thereafter publish same. my dear, this is borderline defamation if at the end of the day it turns out to be false. Linda merely reiterated what is already a public knowledge. Only a greedy lawyer will advise a client to pursue defamation in such a case. And I need not remind you that defamation that affects a person's trade is the most severe of them all.
A competent HR would have sacked him and informed the general public without any reference to the Emilia story especially when not confirmed. Defamation is not a blanket offence for anything the "victim" does not like. It will be fun to watch a lawyer tell a judge that Linda is guilty of libel because she stated a reason, an accusation made by a third party, for sacking his client. |

Cos if it's false, Linda Ikeji TV have successfully joined the Emilia to defame this guy and it's big liability for them. Linda Ikeji needs competent HR, she is a big brand name. Why not ask real lawyers what defamation means? Linda can sack any worker for any reason. The worst the worker can do is spend huge money to get compensated. Defamation is not involved. |
