How exactly were they cursed? Did it manifest in the people? Akoko Edo people complain of marginalization and under development, could that be the effect of the curse? Someone she'd more light pls
There are many people/tribes who complain of marginalization in present day
Nigeria, it has nothing to do with a curse.

Whatever becomes too complex for a common man, he blames on "spirits".
There is no such thing as cursed or blessed people but there are people
who make effort to be successful and became successful and there are
those who don't, then we say life happened.

Those of you saying its a stunt r really too naive. This is not a job for the faint hearted. You and ur family members both near and far move freely but these efcc guys ain't that free- they could be attacked diabolically and physically. I still remember an efcc guy who was left paralysed just because he insisted on prosecuting a certain corrupt person as against taking bribe to free d Criminal-on the first day of proceedings at d Court d efcc guy didn't leave d Court with his health - and truly d Criminal been prosecuted did threatened him that he was gonna see d outcome of his insistence
So the EFCC guy just accepted his fate without striking back ?

Yes, because you have married thousands of women
and confirmed your theory.
There are so many marriages that have crashed because
"my in-law caused it".

Failure always give excuses.

About 5yrs ago I sat with this couple in church at Magodo and they looked so lovely, what could have gone so bad. I was admiring them in my heart wishing to have a family like his. Am so disappointed in what has become of them.
Most couples look lovely outside, that doesn't say anything about their internal relationship.

Obalende:
The fact that Nigerians learn no lessons shows they are less than lower animals. Why is everyone overspeeding. Nigerian roads continue to claim lives because Nigerians drive one way, drive recklessly, dangerous overtaking, dangerous overtaking at sharp bendings, do not wait for people, etc and "put everything in the hand of God"

It is high time Nigerians themselves come up with their own solution to this problem - government is not omni present.... They should be able to govern themselves they arent animals.
You are part of the problem.
Accidents happens everywhere in the world!

Moorish:
There is something wrong with the black man. You will always have outliers in the data who perform well and are successful, but most of them succeed within the white man's structure.

I can't think of one black nation that is being well run, nor can I think of a single invention attributed to the black race

The OP is absolutely correct, blacks are inferior to the races from Asia and Europe
I never mentioned outliers in my post, I don't know where you get that from.
I don't blame you, you are probably regurgitating what you read elsewhere.

The following might sound cryptic to you but I will state it for the benefit of
those who can comprehend it.

Plotting any trait of a given population, one usually get a bell curve.
Where the majority are concentrated in the middle. It doesn't matter
where you get your data from, the outliers are always in the minority.

Ponder on this story: A spectator spotted a limp near the stadium and told
him: "You know you are limping, you can never run as far as others can"

The next day he repeats "You are limping, get that into your head, there is no
way you can compete with others, that is the truth"

The spectator repeats a variant of this statement for the next 30 days whenever
he come across the limp.

And the cycle of hocus pocus continues.

What do you think I will say if I meet the spectator ?
"See your psychiatrist immediately!"
"You may well be redeemable!"

Don't give a damn about Bihari's health.

This system of things must change.

I am a Biafra-supporting Yoruba youth. A Yoruba that thinks for himself and is not a follower and zombie

Our country is a failed state.

Biafra is self actualisation , self Realisation. There is only one truly indigenous country in africa . The name is Ethiopia, it was never colonized, it was not formed in the Berlin conference

I would love for biafra to become the 2nd true African country.

I also await Odua nation, I pray my people wake up.

God bless the hardworking people of Nigeria
God bless the suffering masses
God bless the revolutionaries
God bless Nnamdi Kanu and biafra
grin grin grin
What is this ?
If Ethiopia is your model country, then it is finished.

Business › Re: In The Wake Of A Wave Of Fintechs, Banks Are Getting Personal by ivolt: 10:12am On Aug 18, 2017
Chukazu:
Not really relevant to Nigerian clime, we are too slow to adopt new measures so the banks are still having their ways.

The only thing that really "threatened their existence" was MMM.(as bank deposits drastically dropped) but now mmm is dead they can return to cheating Nigerians again
How did MMM threatened Nigerian banks when all its transactions were done through banks ?
In fact MMM forced many new participants to join the banking system.

MMM is not a bank and will never be!
