Well said Lioncoolst, I agree with you 100%. If your husband is bedridden, will you leave him and run away. No Baby, he is sick and he needs you to get well. Go help your man get a cure Baby, that is if he is ready for that.
Politics › Re: Zoning: Northern Elders Issue 2-week Ultimatum To Pdp by Ivynwa(f): 12:03am On Sep 23, 2010
I am sick of Nigeria and its tribalistic politics. We human, I have come to realize will always have affinity to our own and from all these "it's our turn to rule" you will agree with me that Nigeria can never be a one- tolerant- people. We all deceive ourselves calling ourselves one nation when we are all many tribes struggling to stay together, all for what? For the oil? I have been wondering. Does it make sense that a country that is struggling to be one zoned its ruling. I mean if you are one , does it matter which tribe rules?
Nigeria is better off with all tribes on their own, that way there won't be all these hatred and animosity over who rules. People are happy that their own people are ruling since that seems to matter more to Nigerians than the quality of the leader and how he is ruling. There won't be bloodshed and religious intolerance,  The different tribes will struggle on their own and excel with whatever resources and skills that abound in their own environment to become excellent countries on their own and the arguments here in this forum won't be this heated and passionate as everybody here will be chilling that his man is the president. This scountry needs to be parted into 5 or more if not for anything to enable resources and amenities get to the suffering masses and improve their lives. Should we keep clogging and wading in this abject poverty forever bikonu my people.

Crime › Re: US Police Cracks Nigerian-mexician Drug Cartel Link by Ivynwa(f): 10:50pm On Sep 22, 2010
I am wondering how these all degenerated into a war of tribes, the US Police must be having fun reading this thread.  The youths of our country have been fed a wrong notion of "Get money and all will worship you" . While we bicker here, may each and every one of us look around and advise the kids and teenagers around us aright lest we all drown in mockery and shame. I mean why am I still frowning at this Nigerian lady I met out here and happily asked her whether she is a Nigerian----now hear her. She puts on her ajebutter and a you-are-below-me mode and answered "No, I am a Canadian".I am sick and tired of all these negative branding we have from the world.

He sure died trying, poor darling! May he rest peacefully where there is no worry about surviving and the pressure to get rich in order to be appreciated by some in our country. Our youths have it so so wrong!

Christianity Etc › Re: Nairaland Christian E-Fellowship by Ivynwa(f): 3:07am On Sep 22, 2010
Hey! Is this where my Pips are and I didn't know all along, infact God bless the second I saw this thread and to think of all the sweet spiritual enriching stuffs that I have missed out on. Can somebody update me on how far into the fellowship you guys have gone? Did I say that I love my praise and worship real good, hope you guys are not done with that because for me church or fellowship with no praise and worship is like eating chaffs that did not nourish my body one bit. I mean it is the food of my soul so let me sing one first to get into the spirit and join the fellowship------Allelluiah Somebody! Somebody praise the lord! Alleluiah! Everybody make some noise for the Lord! (Ivynwa claps her hand and makes some sweet holy noise and began to sing)------I will call upon the Lord, for he is worthy to be praised, I will worship and adore for he is worthy-------The Lord Reigneth, blessed be the rock, let the rock of my salvation be exalted! (Ivynwa lifts holy hand to the Lord and continues singing) Hosanna, Hosanna blessed be the rock, let the rock of my salvation be exalted---------Amen.

Ivynwa joins the fellowship proper
Let me begin with sharing my two verses for the year with the house
Isaiah 35:2----  It shall blossom abundantly, the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it,the excellency of Carmel & Sharon, & the excellency of our God
Is 60:13----      The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, & I will make the place of my feet glorious
Isaiah 60:13 ----  I will make thee an eternal excellency

Alleluiah! Hey! I love to sing in the choir, do we have a choir in the house so that I can enroll for choir practice. Sorry Pips, hope I did not make much noise in the church today, forgive me if I did but I do love my church bubbly and spirit filled at the same time.
Ehn! I just noticed that people don't really talk here, they just post their verses----Ewoooo, I hope I have not broken the rules my people, make una no vex-o-o Ojare, I am just being fun in a Godly way and if that is not accepted here, somebody can tell me so that I can keep mute when next I come to church and just post and run. Byeee everybody, Pastor I didn't get my welcome hug today maybe when next I come and help me tell the choirs that I love it when we sing inspiring songs that move the spirit for real and make one feel next to God for sure. Bye Pastor, Bye Pips

You don't solve a problem by running from it, you need to have a good chat with him and hear him out. Straight people can be led into unstraight things by bad company, hear him out and find out for yourself whether the situation is redeemable and whether you can help him straighten out with much love and understanding unless he prefers and wants to stick to men, in that case you can bow out for him. This is not an easy stuff for any woman to handle, May God see you through this dear

Who on earth invented that backside penetration thing for goodness sake? I ain't doing that s-h-i-t for anything or any human being!

Nairaland sure is the bomb, it cures me of homesickness, makes me laugh too and meet great Nigerians. There are lots of greater things one can achieve here in Nairaland. I have seen a lot of people solve their problems, share their unhappiness and get consoled, adviced and directed. There are great intellectuals, great minds of our great nation lurking here in Nairaland. It sure is an enlightening site but people like me need to watch out on the addictiveness----lol. Now I am going to log out and go get some other things done too. Kisses to all of you, see you all later.

If you put yourself in your Mama's shoe, I am sure you will prefer to remain in England where you have loved ones and friends around. I am also sure that that experience in which she was beaten to near death by robbers in Naija must have traumatized her to a point that she will prefer to age there in England, let her wish be done for her abeg. Our parents's wish should still be respected even at old age, some of our ageing parents prefer to age in the village while some prefer to remain abroad where they raised their children. You guys should let una mama chill and enjoy herself, a little yam and rice will not kill her Ojare. Let her be taking much green vegetables like spinach and pumpkin leaves(how I miss that nutritious leaves!)if it exist in England.
Sports › Re: Nigeria-Korea Republic (Fifa U17 Womens WC Quarter Final) Ended 5 - 6 by Ivynwa(f): 3:46am On Sep 18, 2010
It was a bit saddening that we lost out finally to Korea, I wished my girls played on to the end but football I have come to realize is one unpredictable game in which the best team can come last while the worst comes out victorious. The game is probable as a rolling ball which can roll to any direction, even Germany that were pouring out goals were shocked to tears when they bowed out too. I was looking forward to a finals between Nigeria and Germany but it seems the Asian teams are the lucky teams for now. Football is 20% skill and 80% luck, take it from me. I don't take games to heart. It is only but a game , let nobody despair . I rejoice when we win and when we don't I remain happy for the other winners so I am still enjoying the remaining matches though I hate to see those lil girls cry tears of broken dreams when they were knocked out! All hail my girls as they board the plane to return home, safe journey to them as they cross that big big Ocean.

Abeg, those girls are so very young. Who said that are old? Anyway I am glad that they are doing us proud and can't wait for their next match on sunday. Come make I ask, this German girls wey dey pour goals on teams like confetti, what kind of goals are those? Two match and they already have 19 goals, Nigerian teams are the last team to be intimidated by goals and I am sure that they can't faze my girls. My question is will the goal count make them triumph over evry team even if they let's say lose to Nigeria in the finals, anybody?

The football match was a nice one, glad those girls did us proud. It was followed by the match between Trinidad and Chile in which trinidad scored 2:1. Heard the next match is on Wednesday, the Nigerian girls should work up their stamina, those trini girls have got stamina and are as hefty as cows but we should not be discouraged by looks. We should be as bold as Joshua and Caleb were before the children of Anak and declare that we shall overcome. Alleluiah Somebody! Honerico say Amen!----smile

I don't disrespect people and I didn't really want to make anybody look silly here. I am not sorry for what I said but I am going to remove it and replace it with an ordinary "hello people" but you have to tell onlytruth to remove it in his quotation of me okay. I hope you understand what I mean, I just don't want others coming in here to mock you decent guys because of my comment even though there are some atoms of truth in what I said okay Baby.

I still strongly believe that this country of ours needs to be broken into some smaller parts(not from the tribal sense), just parts that are enough to enable resources reach the millions of people that make up our population. Let us remove this oil (that many are clinging to) from the equation and we would have been perhaps 4 or 5 different countries excellently growing on their own but No! we all cling to oil without making much progress, I don't even see the money from the oil when many are hungry and poor and there are no jobs for the youth. We should love and truly be untited or we can as well part and gladly stand on our own very country.
