What is all this glorification of somebody in the name of stardom, I really don't like it when people overtrip for their fellow human being and call them stars, stars ni, moon ko. I like her songs and I am happy for her musical career success but for goodness sake why don't we talk about our poor fellow Naijas that lost their precious lives in that bomb attack and ask how the ones in the hospitals are faring. |
190, Is that you on your profile sweetheart?I heard somebody refer to your pics and on making a check was surprised but not so very surprised? So that is the dude that has been terrorizing people here in Nairaland . You look so cutie cutie but I am not surprised, I know that only a a kid as mischievous as you even look there can be holding the whole Nairaland to ransom like you do. |
I don't even know why the lady is making noise all over the place and having her pics splashed in the dailies and her reputation walked upon. She had a baby, if the man is not agreeing to take care of the child. Shouldn't she just work hard and take care of her child, it is her gain and not loss even though in our part of the world we look down on children born out of wedlock yet a child is a gift no matter the circumstances. She will still grow up to bring her joy and happiness. Let us quit all these our self-righteous and you-are-the-greatest-sinner-on-earth attitude meted out to women when they have children unmarried. Animals do not wed before they make babies for goodness sake and nobody looks down on them. |
buzugee:E-e-e-e-em Buzugee ain't you very very right there? Why should Independence be celebrated in the first place when it is only a reminder of a time when we were once under captivity? Such pains are better forgotten, we should celebrate every day that we are opportuned to be of the same country as one another through love, care and tolerance. |
@Jennykadry Nne I am real for sure, I am not clapping my hands for the wife for not telling him, indeed that is not good and like SA Lady said maybe she is afraid of losing him yet nothing justifies her not telling him but should I nail her on the cross and tell the man to leave her. No! I have to compliment him for having a good heart and standing by his wife because married couples should never abandon their spouses in times of sickness. @Deniyor and Woke4all My friends if you guys have conscience, pls examine it and see whether what you are telling this poster is not the most wicked thing anybody can ever do to his fellow distressed man. It is better you tell him nothing than to laugh at a sorrowful person and tell him he is going to die. I mean I can't see this heartlessness in any other place in the world but in our Nigeria where people like you have blackened heart. @Poster Ignore those two please and take the good advice others are giving you Ojare. |
deniyor:Deniyor, how come people like you don't realize when their fellow human being is really distressed as to be mentioning such insensitive things. Mr Bawal, I think you need to get a family doctor that can come in and educate your wife on why you two must be using Condom, It is very nice of you to be standing by her at a time when some men will desert their wife, it is also a good thing that you are not infected yet. You mustn't keep sleeping with her without protection even though she is your wife. There is need for you to be protected from getting infected too. I understand that when you two want to plan for another kid that you decide to do that, you need the help of a doctor, she can be inseminated with your spermatozoa when you want to make more children and even the child you want to make needs to be protected too to avoid getting infected so ask around and get a qualified doctor. Sit your wife down and tell her that if she wants you to keep standing by her then she must start acting responsibly by not feeling bad about the condoms so that you two can together save your marriage. She is your wife and you did promise to be there in good times and bad times, that is the biggest part of the marriage deal dear, take heart, stop being afraid, be courageous and be there for her. |
There are nice things you can wear and still look beautiful, dresses make women look very very femine and there are sexy long and short ones in the market that you can wear and throw in matching accessories to look very charming. See whether you can get some body contouring/holding wears that holds extra fat in place and not make you look saggy and fat like girdle and corsets. Find brassieres that accentuate your bust and make you look real endowed up there, avoid the ones carelessly sown and are not made to fit. Traditional wears can be elegant too, fitted ones and flowy ones. Take this from me flowy is sexy, have a tailor make some chiffon or other fabrics that flows gracefully into flowy gowns(by flowy I mean stylish dresses that have lots of material that flows with the wind, it doesn't really have to be big and unfitted like Bubu, it can fit into your curves at the hip and waist and folw out very much at the tail, knees, handsetc) gowns and you will be looking lovelier and more femine than ladies in jeans. |
Echidime, who said that you do not have an out-of-timing sense of humour? Not that I want to quarrel sha, abeg me I no get NL quarrel strength so make I shut up my mouth sha |
This Day Online has almost the same version of it except for this joker line bolded below. Let them s-t-u-p-i-d boys be laughing now, we will see who will laugh last. Nonsense! http://www.thisdayonline.info/nview.php?id=184134 She said the school authorities had been involved in negotiating with the kidnappers for the release of the children, adding that the hoodlums laughed at them when the school offered to pay N100,000 out of the N20 million they demanded as ransom. |
I just read The Sun online and the bolded below is not really convincing, they should make haste and save those kids and quit playing politics with words http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2010/oct/01/national-01-10-2010-015.htm It was also gathered that the combined team is close to identifying the hideout of the kidnappers and where they are keeping the kidnapped children , adding there are hopes that the children will soon be released. A reliable source also told Daily Sun that the kidnappers were considering releasing the children as they were under serious pressure from the military men who have been combing every bush around the local area. The kidnappers were said to have been calling those who they were bent on negotiating with, on the way on the way forward. |
For the sake of Prayers that get answered by God almighty and for the sake of positivity and the power of faith. May God bless our country Nigeria sha. Even though right now I am not feeling Nigeria at all. Wetin! |
bankol18:Bankol Baby, in as much as we are all mad at what is happening, we mustn't be that negative as to think of loss of lives. We are not praying for military guys that have family, children and lives like us all to be sacrificed on the altar of this madness for money that is fast eroding Nigeria. May those children be saved and may those working on the situation come out unscathed too in Jesus name Amen. And may God still bless our country Nigeria sha(even when I am still mad at it and the rulers not manning it well). Somebody abeg helep me say Amen. A prayer said they said is a prayer answered. |
While we are at it let us all pray for our country Nigeria that is at the brink of chaos that God will touch the hearts of of some of our hardened youths and turn around our nation for Good. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Somebody please say Amen! |
INDEPENDENCE = FREEDOM KIDNAPPED, SHACKLED = CAPTIVITY CAPTIVITY is the opposite of INDEPENDENCE Now how Independent can we get? Me I no fit shout, sometimes a simple formula says all there is to say. Where is the Independence in a nation shackled by its very own, enslaved by itself. Excuse me somebody! |
Mtcheeeeeeew. Nonsense! |
Yes I just remembered that calls can be traced in Naija, I once read how the last call on a dead lady's phone was traced to her manfriend. I hope they are bringing in all the resources available to save those kids or will those be left as the last resort when things are already out of hand? I am so helpless now and wish I can join forces to unearth this s-t-u-p-i-d-i-t-y. |
Do we have means of tracing calls in Nigeria, those silly things can be traced to their hide-out with the numbers they are using to negotiate the ransom. It is very important that things be done urgently so nothing befalls those kids. A kid was once kidnapped where I live and died of children's ailment in the hands of the kidnappers and no one heard a thing again until a certain woman came in years after to notify the public of that. You can't imagine what that kid's father went thru wondering whether his son will ever be seen. Where are the Nigerian army all those while that that city was boiling. They should make haste and deplore lots of them to other states experiencing this silly kidnapping trend. Nonsense! Mchtceeeeeew. I am so mad at that society of ours right now. |
Now girlie, don't sound too confused okay. If you are still in school, I will advise that you concentrate on your studies and not dwell on relationship issues, don't make the mistake of opening your legs for men or even your fellow students in the name of relationship. Keep your female /male relationship friendly for now, you will not regret doing that in years to come. Concentrate and graduate from school first okay Baby. |
Cosmozel:Exactly what I think and not just in Aba in other parts of the country where kidnappers are reigning king. What are all these kidnapping nonsense when people are getting salaries as army officers , police, governors and president. Excuse me! MTCHEEEEEW Nigerians living abroad are even finding it funny and saying that they are not coming home lest they are kidnapped, should we let evil, greed, jealousy, envy, corruption take over this land? They should be fought out and I am not seeing any seriousness in our part to possess this land that belongs to us all. |
I can still remember it being narrated when I was in the university how the father of a school mate of mine who was prospering in Aba was tortured and killed in front of his children and that my schoolmate and her siblings were very much shattered into emotional zombies that cry at the slightest thing after that experience. Lazy kidnappers and killers that can't go and work hard for themselves. MTCHEEEEEEEEEEEEW. |
The whole set up is something only a dunce can think up. Who in their right mind thinks that good much more millions can come out of kidnapping a group of school children? Why do certain Nigerians use their great intelligence in stooping low instead of raising themselves positively higher? It's all disgusting really. |
I just saw this in CNN this morning and is still swallowing shame and summoning the courage with which to mumble something when somebody raises the matter. State of emergency should have been declared in Abia state a long time ago but those greedy politicians can't see such and are all busy canvassing for voters to give them license to keep eating Nigeria clean. A friend just narrated how his uncle who is a businessman in Aba was recently kidnapped only for them to pay the huge ransom and discover his rottening body under a bridge and how a doctor was kidnapped and still killed after his wife paid a ransom of N30Million. What monstrosity is about to overtake us all and some men that should retire and take care of their grandchildren are all there ogling for money that should be used to make life easier for us all. Are we not tired people? |
Hi Homerac, Can we talk business dear, I can get you the world's best steel from the west. send me a mail at ivorybt@yahoo.com so we can seal the deal. Thanks |
It is to the glory of God that positive news are emerging on the above said miners. Heartrending details of their life underground and their courageous struggle to stay alive is indeed heartwarming. A hole bored to reach them has been successful and the experts in charge of that are at the verge of widening the diameter of the hole to be able to let them out. Other plans termed plan B are being made towards their rescue through another hole, let us still remember them in our prayers even as God is doing great things, providing for them and assisting their govt in their great effort to sustain them with various types of medicaland psychological support. Glory be to God that their rescue is looking promising and nearer than experts declared before, somebody shout alleluiah! Alleluia! Everybody make some noise for the Lord!! gvjgfkahfgrjgjtr;gklsjfkjeghjgejfghnbhjdbjjhbjhjjhjhkhjkhcfgxgfxfgxchgvjhjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjccccccccccccccccchdfnfhgjkl;;k'kljlgfhgdcxhfbghjkljhgfxdzxfghjkhgfdcvbgh You can read up more stuffs about them below http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1312611/Trapped-Chilean-miners-freed-TWO-months-early.html http://www.voanews.com/english/news/New-Bore-Hole-Reaches-Trapped-Chilean-Miners-103174169.html http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/lt_chile_mine_collapse |
