RomanceRe: My Ex Still Wants Me Back. This Time With A Huge Contract Termination Threat. by Ivynwa(f): 7:09am On Aug 07, 2012
Tell her to go f*ck herself.
Why are you giving that a thought? Will you throw away your wife and baby for a vixen/nymphomaniac whose father happens to be rich and has a contract running with you.
How will a man (you) love and make love to a woman threatening a man that has a wife and child with his dailybread/source of income?
BusinessRe: Nospetco Oil And Gas Ltd (Anxious Investors/Friends) by Ivynwa(f): 6:58am On Aug 07, 2012
Oh I read about verification and reading very well understood that it was last year's post. I call up Maiyaki (the owner of Nospetco) on the phone from time to time and he seems to be still attending to the case in court, I don't understand why court cases take forever in Nigeria.

The man seems to me like a man of integrity with the way he maintained his old phone number and still answers and explains things when you call him. I was once impatient with him on the phone and he got angry with me and I even got more angry myself as in he is the one tying down my money yet he still picks my call and answers respectfully. I am hopeful that he will pay up his investors if our heartless country will be kind enough to unfreeze the millions they got frozen up. What kind of country is ours? I saw a country where an organisation(credit union) people invested in went bankrupt and the govt mapped out plans to pay the investors. Nigeria is a heartless country, trust me! I said it!

djeezy: Nobody was born gay. They use this as defence everytime. They get their sexuality twisted and nurture it like a plant until it grows. It becomes a habit, hard to break. I have seen someone who was gay and latter went straight. Socialization, role play etc has a lot to do with this. Anybody who is attracted to same sex is insane and is going contrary to the way God intented it. Prove enough to suffice,God created Adam and EVE and not Adam and Jones. Society detesting it is even helping them because I do not think you can change what you tolerate.
Lol at Adam and Jones.
The part about craving his fellow popular school boy really buttresses your point that such persons got themselves twisted which is what I am also trying to put to him. He seems to have twisted it and nurtured it for real. Another set of individuals nowadays take on the h-omo thing as a sophistication tag, it seems to be as sophisticated as the newest colour blocked fashionable dress for ladies.

Poster we are not trying to make you feel bad and terrible, we don't want anybody to get unhappy/depressed from the comments here and think of killing him/herself. We all love and appreciate the human in you, we are talking to you the way we will talk to our own brother okay Baby. You gat yourself twisted, Untwist yourself dear.

@Andrew

I understand that you are not feeling happy about this, your choice of words showed how passionate you feel about this matter and I try not to be hard on any unhappy person reaching out to others and pouring out their heart in the internet.

Like lady Rockstation said it is natural to admire good looking things, I am even one to compliment a fellow beautiful lady. When I see beautiful and wonderfully made humans (men or women), I appreciate them and give glory to our maker for his great works. It is very immature and shallow minded to have developed a s-exual likeness to your fellow male classmate just because he was the most popular, has plenty swag and pride. We all have one or two persons doing well and standing out in their field that we admire a lot but a mature mind admires and stops at that, does not take it to hero-worshipping and s-exual hallucinations. It seems that your adulation for that popular boy was your undoing and the genesis of this h-omosexuality.

Your write up was beautifully woven, I give it up to you but sweetheart a man was made for a woman. A man wasn't made for his fellow man or there will be men with no male again but female organs for their male partner to penetrate. The body of a woman was made for the body of a man to fit into it beautifully for s-exual gratification and procreation. Nothing changes that, not even the way you have yourself having an affinity for your fellow male. Sorry but we can't clap for you (I already appreciated your sweet worded post) and tell you that h-omosexuality is okay or healthy just the same way we can't clap for a woman if she comes here to tell us that she prefers to have s-ex with her children etc.

You did yourself and only you can undo yourself, it seems to have started when you went adulating that popular boy and ever since then you've managed to convince yourself that you prefer men. I can't like a female star/musician say Rihanna so much that I will be going gaga about sleeping with her, that seems to be the root of this problem----that was shallow. Work on yourself dearie.

@hoodboy

I understand that you are feeling scorned, abandoned, terrible, lovelorn right now, try and pull yourself together. Find something positive and immerse yourself in, that way you can take your mind off it and maintain your sanity. Leave the environment as soon as your exams are over and go channel your energy into something that will yield more positive than that.

I never supported s-exual relationship while in the university, the one or two love nwantinti that I did in the university were platonic. I avoided s-ex at school and I am glad I did. One should concentrate on the studies, get the grades and come out. Look around you there in school, you will notice that the smart students don't mess around with s-ex there, they concentrate on their studies. Channel that energy into your exams and leave that place in one piece, don't get caught- up in a drama where some are already threatening to bath some in acid and another man nearly fought you over a girl. If one of you loses his life in that kind of passionate/angry fight, the other fighter may end up wasting his life in jail so be wise avoid all that drama. If she wants the other man now, let her go with him-------she may end up running back to you. Concentrate on what is important now which is building up a beautiful future for yourself.
FamilyRe: Candid Advice Needed by Ivynwa(f): 5:31am On Aug 06, 2012
Did both of you agree together before you moved in with him? Moving in with him like that especially if both of you did not first agree to that is not the best. What you narrated sounds like he is not excited to have you around, are you sure that you are not getting on his nerves in one way or the other and making him spend more time away from you?

You have the ability to cajole and sweet talk him into helping with the chores. Are you sure that he is happy about your living with him now? I will advise that you be sure of that as it will be unpretty for you to be where you are not wanted yet, it can even stretch out your relationship and wear out the intending marriage.
FamilyRe: How Would I Get Rid Of My Mother-in-law? by Ivynwa(f): 5:06am On Aug 06, 2012
Wasn't there a similar thread to this someone had in which the man had to angrily leave the house for the woman until the mother-in-law left the house or something? I am not suggesting that same move though, the man in question should talk to any of the wife's sibling that is mature enough to understand things and they can handle that as respectfully as possible.
There's nothing wrong with visitations by relatives but when they overstay, that becomes a problem.

FamilyRe: Am Not Enjoying My Marriage by Ivynwa(f): 3:54am On Aug 06, 2012
How can you enjoy marriage with your husband when you are still married to your parents who have to dictate the terms and conditions on which you can go live with your husband?
What do you want us to tell you to do if not for you to do the right thing and go live with your husband? What do you want a married man to do when he gets h-orny? He will definitely find a woman to get his freaky on with, if u are there for him and he is being unfaithful that is another matter but you are not there for him.

Stay there and be sulking and carrying face like "Nwa mummy", if he finds a woman that gives it to him more than you do while he is at his rendezvous he will be the one telling you that he has no feeling for you anymore & will be gone with another woman leaving you in the lurch. Your parents are interfering in your marriage, stand up for yourself and discuss/plan your family with your husband. Your parents should let up a bit for you and your husband to agree on your terms of living, they should let him make decisions with you and not overshadow him the way they are doing. Hope you understand dearie? I am sure that you will find something else to do in Lagos so pack your bag tonight and get excited a bit like "Yes, yes I am going to lagos to stay with my sweetie!".

Stop sulking and being unhappy, go give your man all the f*cking & loving he needs cause right now other ladies are doing your job for you Baby grin grin. U should be thanking them----yeah, right! grin Hugs.
PoliticsRe: GEJ's Racist Comment In Trinidad And Tobago by Ivynwa(f): 1:04am On Aug 04, 2012
EzeUche: I think it is racist to the people of Trinidad because that country is half black and half Indian. And the current Prime Minister is an Indian.

Trinidad is a multiracial society. GEJ has to be careful about what he says there. grin
You are right, in a multiracial society such comments should not be made.
Diplomacy should be adhered to. Jeez! I was watching our dear Patience climbing the stairs of the airplane (over the television)as they were taking their leave and laughter wan kill me. It was very tasking for her, the way she managed to be lifting her feet after feet on every stair of the plane made her look ridiculous. I laughed. grin grin

Good move by govt to give good training to the militants, it's a pity those ones got deported. Glad to see the owners of the oil being giving a piece of the cake baked on their land, they deserve such perks I am almost wishing that I am in their shoes. My fellow Engineering school mates that hail from the oil producing states are all rocking great oil/energy jobs. Ain't I happy for them.
FoodRe: Where should we draw the borderline of eating with Fingers? by Ivynwa(op):
Why cry over nothing?
You should not let the not-so-cool comments of some posters get to you, I cleared the air for that purpose.

I didn't touch a word of your post - Not in the title, not in the body.
I only included a question to give posters something to argue about . . . If I hadn't, I doubt they would have had something to discuss.
However, if you're offended, I apologize.
You typed in something into my post and you are still exonerating yourself that you did not include anything into my post and went on to ask me "why cry over nothing" and that I should not let the comments of others get to me. You are missing the point here dear. I am not crying neither am I bothered about the s-tupid response that all those changes (you and another moderator made to my thread) brought about.
I am only making you understand that what you did is never done. You don't write up what you think into another person's post and make it seem like the person said that. You misrepresented me as a poster as that phrase "Gross or what?" is not my word but yours. I can never ask people that. You don't realize the gravity of what you did and I am making you see that you acted wrongly here, a moderator does not write up additional things into a thread and that is what you did that I am speaking against. Don't get it twisted.

The opinion of people that I am trying to look at over my topic "Where should we draw the borderline of eating with fingers" is from the health angle of many individuals dipping hands in one plate of soup and not about "Yvonne Nelson eating with her fingers" as somebody changed the topic into or "whether it is gross or not that Yvonne Nelson is eating with her fingers" as the phrase you added to my post made it seem. I am sure that you understand my point now.

Privilege o-o, modification-o or not----somebody needs to drive a point home to you guys that a poster should not be made to have said "Z" when what the poster said is "Y". If you want to get on being abusive in referring to me as a "whining" poster, I have no plans of trading insulting words with you. My point has been driven home and that is what matters to me. I take my leave off the fr*aking thread for you guys, you have changed it up according to your whims and as it is giving you your "desired results" you can go ahead and enjoy your thread. Thanks
FoodRe: Where should we draw the borderline of eating with Fingers? by Ivynwa(op):
The title of your thread was not changed by me, but by either the admin or Mukina, I'm too lazy to check.
If your thread is or was modified, it is for the benefit of errr. . . whoever it may concern.
And yes, your thread (title) can be modified or made to appear on the HP regardless of how you feel about it.

To clear the air : The OP didn't pose the question, I did . . .I included it to give you all something to agree and disagree on. smiley Even though I'm getting the desired result, I'll like to remind y'all that it's necessary to keep the comments civil. wink
You yourself commented in the above post that you posed the question "Gross or what?" in the thread. If you are not the one that changed the topic to something else with a different meaning, do you moderators have the right to get into another person's post and type in additional words that the poster did not say. The phrase "Gross or what?" may be a three letterred word but it painted the poster in another picture, misrepresented the poster and gave the thread another s-tupid meaning. I can't get up and ask people that in the internet. You guys should be careful when you go about changing topics in the homepage, if you want to summarize a thread summarize it in good faith and not turn around the topic and even type in things into what a poster said and give the world a different message and make it seem like a poster actually said that when the person did not. What high handedness is that?

I have already sent a mail to you moderators for someone to change back that homepage meaning and has also mailed Mukina to correct that anomaly. Whoever it is that changed up the topic of the thread did wrong here, You are also very very wrong for typing "Gross or what" into my post saying that you want to give people something to agree on. What the fr*ak was all that?
FoodRe: Where should we draw the borderline of eating with Fingers? by Ivynwa(op):
pendo89: I am right this min eating chicken with rice, using my hands on the chicken.
But if ur talking about several hands being dipped in the same bowl? that I am not comfortable with.
My dear, you are just about the handful of persons making sense in this thread right now because what I set out to see is the reaction of people over the health implication of many persons dipping hand in one plate of soup and not about eating with fingers. There are many things we can't help but eat with fingers so I can't be asking that kind of question. A moderator changed up the whole thread and titled it "Yvonne Nelson eating with her hands' and even added "Gross or what?" to the thread. I am so astounded at this kind of moderating style and audacity.

I can't write "Yvonne Nelson eating with her fingers" and paste for people in the internet and the word "gross" is not in my vocabulary much more me writing that and asking people whether it is gross or not. This is an amazing misrepresentation of another person. I have deleted the things she wrote in my original post and retitled it back but I still don't like that the title she has in the homepage is saying something different from the thread.

I know that sometimes they summarize a thread to paste on the homepage but giving it a different title and meaning is overstepping boundaries. The moderator was even in this thread saying that she posed the question herself to see what people will say and was even here gladdening up over the s-tupid responses she is getting in the thread. What kind of attitude is that? Why can't she open another thread with her name and ask people whatever she wants to ask than type something and make me out as if I typed that. I am not finding this fr*aking attitude funny right now and is not ready to let this spoil my beautiful friday. Where are the moderators and Mukina? Can somebody come and change that homepage topic to reflect what my thread is talking about because my thread has been misrepresented by that. Why did she even make a casual thread like that a homepage topic and went as far as distorting the meaning and using the thread to get the opinion she needs. I don't understand that. What is going on in this website?
There's no need crying unnecessarily, please!

It's a very simple question - 4 people dipping their ball of eba into the same plate of ogbono soup, is it gross or cool?

I think, as usual, lots of nairalanders are being overly sentimental over nothing.
The question wasn't posed in regard to eating without cutlery, but with regard to 4 people sharing one plate of ogbono soup.
We know how messy that thing can be . . .before the 2 people at the extreme ends get their ball of eba into their mouth, the ogbono must have dripped everywhere. tongue

I can't believe that you retitled my thread and even added your own words to the thread. I just deleted the words you added there.
Please find a way to change back the topic sweetheart. You ended up giving the thread another meaning, where is this done? You can open another thread to find out what you want please. Leave the topic of the thread as it was. Don't write something else I didn't say and have my name appended to that, that isn't right I am sure you understand.
Handle this right sweetie, I have got things doing right now and do not have the time on my hands to see this set right right away.

Who is the moderator that did this please kindly change back my topic for me,WTFr*ak!

I am very busy right now and have no time to nairaland now, when i come online I will try and understand what went on with this. Is the person more interested in getting clicks that they did not care about the poster's thread and what a poster is really talking about. Why can' this moderator open another thread reading Yvonne Nelson eating with her hands. Abeg make I do more important things before attending to this-----
FamilyRe: What Do You Like About Your Father. by Ivynwa(f):
I came to check the updates on this thread and almost felt bad that I kept quiet on my mother as if I don't love her too. Poster you should have asked about father and mother because the two go together.

I love my mother too in a deeper way even when I have a special bond with my father and my sister. My mother of blessed memory is what I am today. She built me up, taught me modesty. She is a good woman, very industrious. My mother never worked for anybody in all her life, she always have her own thing doing for herself even when she was as young as 14/15 years old, thinking of that makes me ashamed of myself that I am working for others.(Now let me not be hard on myself---Lol). The epitome of the virtuous woman of the bible. She was priceless, can do great things with her hands, was highly reverred among her peers for her independence and hard work. Ain't no woman like my mama. She was a princess yet so humble that when she passed away the neighbours were amazed to see the name "Princess" appended on the name of such an unpretentious woman and it was after her death that I got to understand that I hold the title of a princess too unlike my cousins that have been swagging away over it all and feeling cool while growing up, she could not be swayed/bothered with title nor royalty. Her coming from a royal family was never given such importance for us her children to understand the gravity of that. She was even a thousand times more beautiful things that describing may bring tears to my eyes. Now how do one relegate a mother that priceless to the background and talk about the father alone? Bear with me poster, I have to appreciate the two.

Better delete this story of yours as your husband can easily come across it and stuffs like this can kill a marriage. There are stuffs you just don't play crazy unpredictablility/spontaneity Diva AJ Lee game" with. I wish you a happy married life, concentrate on your marriage. Find a way to still get in all those your ex's kissing and lovemaking (that rock your world) in your marriage, that way you have the best of both worlds-----married to everywoman's dream (according to you) and getting your freaky on the way you want it too.
