That is why star rating is somehow useless in Nigeria. I have noticed that the riders don't give 5 when you don't ask.
Some will even tell you, "I have rated you 5", just to hear the thank you.
And some will rate poorly for reasons that are not your fault just like this your case.
I could remember a rider I asked for money after ending a trip of 400 only for him to argue that he selected card as payment, yet he ended up giving 1 star.
Another is a rider I told I would confirm payment after transfer yet she gave 1 star because of what I said. The rating is just useless. I pity those in Ibadan.

A rider gave me 1 star because I did not respond to her/join their gist yet she was in the car with 2 colleagues.she come even report me for service..na Dem time...

Your trip will be automatically reviewed, if we find that the request distance was significantly higher than the most efficient trip route, a miscellaneous payment will be added to your account. If your trip was not adjusted, it is because it did not fit into our thresholds for adjustments.

The miscellaneous payment process will run from Sunday 00:00 through to Saturday 00:00. So if a trip was made after this time it will be reviewed in your following payment cycle.

Please note: This does not apply to driver destination (choose your destination) trips.

It's good practice to compare a rider's pin location with the street name and number. Zooming in on the pin often provides the most accurate detail for a rider's desired pickup location. Long and short..do not reject trips or cancel for the previously stated excuse.what was frustrating for me was to drive to 1.9 surge in V.I and I was still getting 1.1 requests from ikoyi after driving round for about 3 mins surge finally disappeared, is like Uber want to be doing "Surge Tease"....

Uber/Taxify should give drivers minimum fare, 1000, that way no useless short trips, I experienced that in Dubai. There cab fare has a minimum of 12dh that's 1200 in naira

Gazzuzz so am about to get a corolla and I have two options.One 05 sport with 203k mileage as seen in VIN report and one 07 LE with 115k mileage also from VIN.
05 had only one user all through while 07 had 4 users and sometimes on lease based on the carfax report.No serìous accidents on both cars just minor bumps so am hearing mileage is not a concern and am a spoiler for alloys and fog lamps which the 07 does not have.please can you advise or give your opinion.both are going for 1.85m.thank you..

I disagree with you on this, yesterday was hot all over lagos, from mushin he could have kreceived trips anywhere in lagos.

Even if there was traffic at Oshodi I would inform the rider that we would bypass Oshodi and either do Mafoluku to iyana isolo or we do GRA to ilupeju to mushin, why waste previous precious time in traffic when there are alternatives.

What year of Camry do you drive? 2010-11 is more fuel efficient than the 2007-09 or earlier models.

That's not what is says on the reviews bro.they both have the very same consumption I.e camry 2006 and camry 2011 .i think it comes back to other factors not just fuel usage alone. Maybe someone using the Big Daddy Camry can let us know provided other things like sensors etc are properly taken care of.

So just wondering now..its a 2.4ltr engine however the fuel consumption difference as seen online is not supposed to be much I.e a corolla with 1.8l will do 3.4 gallons for 100miles that's about 9.2ltr for 100km while the camry/accord with 4gal for 100miles comes to about 9.8ltr per 100km so comparing between the corolla and camry/accord based on this ..is there really any noticeable impact on fuel consumption costs...

Why are you complaining before shooting your shot.except if you want to buy a car or take a loan.if you truly read from beginning to end the advice for you worrying newbies is get a car on rental and try out the business and from there you will know if you can cope or not.the only caution is don't take a loan now and go and buy car if you don't have a back up plan to pay the loan.hope this helps.
