This is funny, and quite explanatory that u are not an experienced mechanic when it comes to volkswagen. You need no repair manual to fix a VW. All you need do is to plug a system for diagnosis. And vuala, that's it. The system tells u the fault, not loke Japanese cars that dont have good shocks and mechanic can cheat u with a Japanese car. But with a volkswagen, the system already tells what's faulty.
Vw has the cheapest shocks, and very cheap parts at Itire (by Ladipo), same mushin axis.
Car with more balance, stronger engine and everlasting shocks.

(Since i was born and now i am still getting young; i have never seen danfo or this volkswagen park someone up on the road; brothers have u seen)

You are struggling to ensure people take interest in your offer.Any one who has driven on Uber and knows about cars would already know these model of passat is a no go area except if for personal use or if you are a dove horizon spec driving Uber for pleayure.......

Never going to happen. I read they are running at a loss even at the 25 percent and it doesnt look like it will change with drivers still running the cars. Thats why they were testing the driverless cars thingy and that looks to have hit a snag for the forseeable future.

Reducing that commission is a dream that will not happen.
I strongly disagree with your talk of a loss at 25%.what cost are they incurring to draw up a loss.Note that for the past 4-6weeks they have been giving 50% promo to riders so tell me which loss making company would still give such bonus to riders.Abeg we are waiting for fare reduction.

So who is Iwobi suppose to replace?

He replaces Mikel who is ineffective.Ndidi plays in front of the defense and Etebo to back him if need be that way we can be all out attack against Argentina who are going to come at us with all they have got and am not sure we can sustain such pressure.its the same kind of pressure that costa rica succumed to brazil and sweden to Germany.i just hope we can at least muster a draw...fingers crossed..

This is my only snag with getting a corolla, damn too common and makes you stick out like a sore thumb so the average police go disturb you cos dem go believe say you be Uber and so make you drop sumtin, yellow cabs or airport cabs go dey mark you make you enter one chance but the fuel comsumption walahi is too super to be ignored which to me makes it stand out from others, honda civic would have been good but its too small and very low clearance on the road and the kias are like toy cars, if i can get Avensis 1.8ltr i should be good.

Please where can one position around 9:30pm to 10pm on the island?

Oga you are always asking about positioning.there is no positioning just stay in V.I and hope for someone going home from work or some oyinbo leaving the restaurant for their hotel or vice versa...you are apparently still new why not take your time to study the trends yourself or go through previous posts.the only other advice I can give is to take advantage of surge zone.ikoyi is usually having surge from 7pm atimes so take advantage but most times you fit wait make request no quick come.pls note am referring to Uber alone..

Sports / Re: World Cup: Rohr Reacts As Okocha Criticizes 4-2-3-1 Formation by iyaegin: 7:11am On Jun 18, 2018
The Main reason why Rohr should keep quiet and accept blame is that not once in 90mins of football did we have any meaningful shot on Goal.for goodness sake Subasic was on holidays he only made two saves from feeble headers which were lamely counted as our shots on Goal.he never for once had to touch the grass to save a goal bound ball is that what you expect from a world cup team??that alone is enough for me to criticize him.Truly Other big names are falling like pack of cards here I.e Argentina, Germany and Brazil but you see determination and of course many attempted shots on Goal or even goals scored but we Naija just want to run forward from the wing and cross the ball hoping that one lucky hand or head would be free to bang it in.abeg they need to be more creative and do more in the next game..it is looking like 2010 all over at this rate but we keep observing na...

What an elder sees while seated on a little chair, a child will not see same even if he climbs a tree.

bros your very first response to dovehorizon's interesting tale was one of total negativity and pessimism , i automatically concluded on the nature of person you are, even if you had a valid point in what you were putting across, you went about it in a shambolic and outright negative mindsetted manner..well that is your nature nobody can change that actually...

I have come again with a complain I noticed.
It is Uber this time.
I noticed my cancellation rate keeps increasing daily per 1% without using the app. My rate was still 5% by Friday evening but didn't use it till now cos I didn't work yesterday. Here I am seeing 8% with working.

lolz...there is a reason why ehailing experience is different from driving experience.Your cancellation rate is actually down to numbers based on cancelled to accepted trips within the past 7 days so on a daily basis your number of accepted trips reduces based on the weekly numbers i.e the number of trips you did last week friday would be removed today, same thing by tomorrow the trips you did last week saturday would be removed from number of accepted trips so inevitably the number would increased or decrease as the case may be but eventually will still come to zero if you dont ride for like a week so nothing to fear...except of tge rate gets to like 30% and above..that is getting to danger zone...

Lol, the date went well, it's time to observe her closely (character, temperament) though it's gonna be a gradual process.

The lady I took to the hotel called and asked if I would be free next week, her family will be coming into town and she wants me around for 5days, I told her as long as I am not moving out of Lagos then no probs... We talked about the fare and we agreed on 45k per day. Time to clear my schedule for nextweek.

Started trip from Festac going to Oniru, followed alakija middle lane, to avoid mile 2 traffic, we got close to mile 2 on the middle fast lane.
Rider: Oga turn here less go back my cloth is chocking me, I need to change it
Me: embarassed embarassedMe turn were, madam that's not possible this is high way.
Rider: I see Danfo drivers turn here all the time, when am driving Me: Sorry i can't turn here will have to get to the right turn b4 I can do any turn.
Rider: I said am dying you are saying you can't turn don't worry continue going.
Me: got to Oniru madam please were at Oniru are we going to.
Rider: Refused talking again was playing mute now.
Me: madam please were are we going to now.
Me: now furious
Rider: making calls telling whoever she was speaking on phone with that she's dying and the taxify driver refused turning
Me: Chai na so my village people wan take catch me dis early morning for my first trip of the day.
Finally got to her destination dropped her and said thank you, she didn't reply buh slammed my door and left.

Now Taxify has removed 10% from my rating even tho I reported what had happened. lipsrsealed undecided

If i were you i would make sure she understands or at least responds to why i cannot turn due to Lastma and Police wahala and at worst i would turn back once i got to Iganmu bridge or park somewhere safe till she responds. Now she gave u bad rating but more annoying the usual taxify hiccup of wrong fare.i no understand how una dey enjoy this taxify walahi...

So i carried a rider yesterday from Anthony to Oregun. It was at around noon she complained on my A/C which has a way of misbehaving between 12 and 2pm to a point she told me to go and fill the gas. After i dropped her i just went home cos it truly felt like na fan dey work. i then resumed work around 4pm na im A/C start dey chill as usual .i saw that my rating had dropped by 0.01 and i saw i had a new 1 star rating, i did not need a magician to tell me who gave me..i just dey vex say where she dey make she come reconfirm if i need to still top up my gas.i have had at least 5 5-star ratings between her trip and today as i write plus 2 excellent badges oh..walahi my rating no gree rise...Moral of the story be very wary of 1 star rating it can damage your ratings CV and take long to recover or rise again.

Update: After about 8-10 5 star trips between sunday and yesterday my rating finally climbed back to its former 4.67, 1 star to drop for 8 stars to rise...it is well...

I have a 2000 camry I intend to use on Uber. I've registered online with all my vehicle documents uploaded. For over a month now, I haven't gotten any response from Uber and whenever I login my app to check, the displayed message is that my documents are being reviewed. Anyone with useful information on the next line of action for me to take pls?

Take your documents to their office but tell dem the car is 2001 or 2002 but still yet dont expect good ratings from riders due to the type of car.some riders are car sensitive..
