This is to inform you all that some riders on uber have started fraudulent act now. They will tell you after the ride that they don't have money and after you leave them not to erupt any embarrasment act believing uber would pay you, they would quickly inform uber management that they gave you more than the ride fare but you didn't give them back their change! This will put uber in the middle not to know who is lying, they will eventually cancel the trip and won't pay the driver. This is not fair from uber, please shine your eyes from these fraudulent riders.

Naija..issue will happen once then we would generalize.The rider can only try it once by the second time, Uber go block am.maybe a greedy Driver who also actually got paid and suddenly reports not being paid because Uber too used to pay without asking.happened to me once where my rider did not pay for his fare, transfer was not working and he did not have cash, i let him know i would report to Uber and he assumed they will charge him for the next trip however when I reported to Uber na so Dem give me consolation fee join and I got like 10k for a N1800 trip..me self was very shook....so maybe one overzealous Driver wants to greedily take advantage of such freebie.

Riders most times already know their location is suspect so what they do is indicate the nearest area to that location that is normal.once carried a rider who was going to Ikorodu and yet she put Ketu as destination.After she entered the car was when we had to negotiate an offline amount as na Ikorodu she dey actually go.she self just dey laugh say Driver no go wan go Ikorodu for night me I was like who be that guy for here wey dey ask for any Ikorodu night trip as na night closure be dat.. .

I don't have to live there sir.i just have to be a quick thinking driver and make use of my Google maps depending on where exactly am going.if capitol road and Sule are bad then I still have NYSC road to enter at dopemu or drive down to Ipaja and cross the bridge.i hate traffic and will do anything to avoid it to the best of my ability.The other day I was with riders at along and saw that express and capitol was blocked and we were headed for mieran.. I detoured from along connected Agege and crossed at total to join oko-oba road connected to Abule egba and beat traffic..it's about being smart bro...

I never make the mistake on this road, i would check the map as am approaching from Along and its either i do capitol road or i do Sule that runs parallel to the express even if am with a rider cos i no wan make one stupid traffic hold me up from my next ride and Uber does not pay off when time is involved.

Lolz the other day I was approaching Abraham Adesanya from Thomas estate request comes in at night with some traffic and rider says he is on the other side facing sangotedo that I must have driven past him he then asks if I can turn around at the round about drive down pick him and then get into traffic but now start the trip when we have crossed back again facing ajah..i just laughed and cancelled the trip.

I don't quite agree with you fully.Yes during the peugeot days of Ogunvic people got swayed but later realised they are too sensitive especially the 407 but I don't think I recall any extra canvassing for Kia/Elantra if at all the talk was that while they also have fair fuel usage their weakness has always been high engine cost especially for the Korean models it seems American specs are cheaper engine wise.

Okay so If i want to buy a corolla say 05-07 the car should actually be called the new pure water as e full everywhere with like 90% usage here what should I basically look out for beyond accidented that has affected chassis.before now i.e cotonu fayawo days buying a toyota with check light on was assumed to be a no issue but now that check light could mean a lot but I would just like to hear something new to be careful of before buying a corolla.thanks peeps.

I took a trip with a taxify staff yesterday and he thinks they pay more due to higher rate per minute. Told him uber is better in traffic but he insisted they pay better.

The only edge taxify has now is their promos which im not even pursuing. I go online on both app and off on the other when i get a trip on any. Less downtime, mo money.

Oga you are not a learner na or what exactly do you want to review the cost of the trip or the fact that you got cash at a lower amount.
cost of trip is expected from V.I to the destination at 3k plus. that you got cash at a lower amount means the balance has been credited to your account so which fare review come dey chuk you...

carried a chinko gal today who apparently speaks little english and just knew a landmark location to where she was going lets call it excellence hotel for privacy the real drama started after we got to the landmark as her final destination was some streets away.

The car you intend to buy must not be more than 10 years old and you pay 30% of the cost. They give you the rest.

But you will pay 5% for legal documentations, 3% of the insurance and 2% for something else (I can't remember).
Then at the end you will pay and handing over fee of 10%

So my calculations for a 2009 Toyota corolla that time at approx 2.2m, I will have to bring around 900k then spread the rest over 12 months or so. But I would have paid more than 3m after the initial 900k deposit. It was a crazy deal

Taxify app and GPS wahala, I picked a rider from VI-VGC and the traffic was mad, this is what taxify app calculated for me. 91mins spent on a trip and no KM was recorded. Thank God it's a card trip.


Meanwhile, am using Huawei Y7 2018, 8.0 OS, so don't tell me it's from my phone.

Yada yada yada...same ol taxify stories that touch...still yet to experience this for once on Uber...it is well...

How did you conclude your gas leaked? Since water is involved, my first check will be fuses or relays related to AC system

the compressor is working and when i was looking to see if a wire maybe tripped off i could smell A/c Gas so yes i am assuming for now but am sure am almost 80% correct besides fuses and relays were not affected by water...

@gazzuzz, fellow Drivers please why it is a practice to turn off A/c while driving inside a pool of water..i usually do so but today i still entered a few puddles here n dere..suddenly this evening while i found myself right in the heart of a 1.8-2.1× surge area i syddenly realised mmy car A/c had leaked...this has never happened before..i could only allude it to some of the water i had entered today but any ideas pls..just made me close shop so early after being on a high all day.
