I have a close friend who’s separated from his wife. I’ve been trying to understand how he feels. Happy or sad? I’ve tried asking him but he’s not very convincing.

So here’s my question to people in the bracket, how does it really feel being divorced or separated? The freedom you craved so much, is it worth it las las?

Just share your own experience.

Ps: I’ve also noticed that whenever I talk about my family, he just feels very uneasy. Lol and he’s supposedly happier now.

Every one has is own luck ooo. I will advise you re invest in your business and teach your wife the business if it's something's she can do.
if you still feel like traveling out after much success in the business fine and good. quotee author=Fountainofyouth post=126884316]Tourist visa of what, 6 months? And after that you'll become a illegal immigrant? Why do you people like to invite problems for yourselves? Why can't you go there the right way legally then invite your family and live happily ever after? You want to become an illegal that will always stay under the radar so as not to be detected and deported, spending decades without physically seeing your family then expect your wife to remain faithful and loyal while you do countless shenanigans over there,

Oga stay in naija and hustle, you are not ripe to travel out yet.
Good question
Kobojunkie:
What job or business does your wife do? If you head abroad and are unable to send money him for a period, will your wife and kids be OK? undecided

2. Do you already have a job idea or are you going their hoping something will somehow work out? Do you at least have rent for a month or two in hand? Or are you somehow expecting to find some folks to mooch off of until you find your way? undecided

How una take know this bills thing sef?
The cost of going to give birth in USA and Canada is there. Now he his claiming he was there on tourism. To the immigration seeing the wife she knows they are their to stay. So it's not vacation. One thing is that they hate lies. Right now he dose not need to change is story. The truth is that Canada need people. That child will be given a citizen ship. But he has to pay the money for medical. Prove to them that you are not there for a job or to stay. When I travel to Europe with my player for trials. We face similar thing because of our passports. The visa we came in with was a tourist visa, mean while we were coming for a football trials. I only show them my hotel booking fully paid. But one of my player show them the invitation letter from the club. That is were the problem started. Entering the country it was God. I learnt a great lesson
from there always go with the right documents.

Travel / Re: Categories Of Nigerians Who Shouldn't JAPA Abroad (especially UK) by izibili44: 4:03pm On Nov 09, 2023
Hum! Well my uncle was 48 when he japa he his 60 years of age now. What he as accomplished in terms of wealth and investment is too great men. My friend grandmother his 63 years when she went to the state for omugo. Today she has bought a house and a car back home after 7 years. She his still doing her house nanny. My brother God time is the best.
quote author=gforce5 post=126824860]I noticed a thread on"10 sets of People Who Shouldn't Travel To The UK". I found it interesting and decided to create my own version. I am an immigration lawyer who just came back from an IBA (International Bar Association) Conference. As a member of the immigration committee, we discuss immigration issues. Immigration is as old as time and inevitable. I don't have issues with Nigerians emigrating for "greener pastures" after all, I did the same thing as a teenager thanks to my folks and encourage many others to do so. What I do have a problem with are the categories of people emigrating abroad to start all over. The list is as follows:

1. Big earners/those who are at the top of their career: It doesn't make sense for someone who earns millions a month to abandon that in the name of JAPA. The chances that you will earn the equivalent to what you are earning in Nigeria is slim. You have to start all over again as no country is going to hire you over their own nationals.

2. People approaching 50 and above. I was insulted some time ago whenI stated that if you must Japa abroad, you should do it when you are young. While there are quite a few over 40s who have been able to re-establish themselves, there many more who have struggled to get back on their feet. The job market is a young person's market.

3. Politicians. These category of people make too much money to desire to move to another country. The system in Nigeria was designed to cater to their very whelms.

4. Small scale/large scale business men. If you have a thriving business, it doesn't make sense abandoning your business just to start over in another country. Don't get me wrong, there are many countries are looking for business men to invest in their economy. In the UK, they fall under the category of investor visas.

If you are a Senior Lawyer, Bank Manager, Senior Surgeon, Senior Chartered Accountant, you are most likely at the peak of your profession in Nigeria and very likely earning a decent amount of money that places you in the elite. It makes no sense for these category of people to emigrate and start all over again.

There you have it. Everybody else has the right to leave the country as it's not working but it doesn't make sense for the above-mentioned class of people to JAPA abroad (at least, outside Africa) as they have a lot to lose.
Is market place the right place to take is bath. Do you know what will happen to the people selling in the market place after he might have left. Those stupid guys collected such money and still expose him. They are big fool
NaijaGoBetter2:
After collecting N38m you still have a mind to released the video. Unless the man (Ex-speaker) was caught we human head or blood I don't see any reason he should paid such an amount because he bathed a marketplace.

Cele and other churches even some Muslims bath in the water that serves some communities while no one see that as a crime because they are imported religions.

Note: it was not mentioned anywhere that he was caught bathing with human blood, the report said "bathing in a market place".
