Thanks bro. Any idea of the days they open now?
It's not necessarily Wharf you should go to.

There's a place called Westminster... it's before Coconut busstop..But I don't know if it's still as before..Besides, containers and tankers don cover everywhere

My advise? Go to Ijesha bus stop. Just after it is a bus stop called Warehouse.. You'll see them offloading all these items from Containers...

I heard the manual turbo 2.5l diesel engine is good to go compared to the electric turbo... Kindly help with more info about the fiat ducato in terms of the reliability, ruggedness and availability of its parts and mechanic for it and also price for a toks(long frame diesel)...
I think the manual is what our Kazzems are comfortable with here. I've seen someone convert his electric to manual

Ducato is rugged...No jokes. Na him those Hausa boys dey fire from Lagos, to Yola, Jos and the rest.

Yep! I dig, but to me all still remains a variable hustle that requires time, risk and strength. Unlike sitting down in the office issuing receipt or permit and for u to answer anyone on time, they must squeeze hand to shake u. Chai! I remember when I was learning d role of a marine personnel, to get import permit from DPR, you will settle up to 500k, those top men no longer work, they have errand loyalist that do the stress. There's this woman at PPMC that stamps document's use to claim subsidy. Heaven knows she won't touch that document if you don't greet her with 20k upward , either the photocopy won't be clear enough or the hard cover is not good enough.

Lol. Aside from cancellations, It seems Bolt app comes with hidden voice monitoring feature on it, The manner at which you communicate with riders matters alot too.
Really?
Didn't know this ohh

I know there was a night it rained....I was in my house around 10pm and was getting requests from Marina. All of them cancelled because of long pick-up...The cancellation was almost up to 20.

The next morning, my rating was nearing 4.5, from 4.8+

Ohh... Didn't know this. I thought the rating was dependent on riders and Activity Score was for acceptance or cancellation of rides.

Well, that explains why my ratings dropped badly. I've been declining and cancelling a lot of trips of late. These days, morale just low. Today, I just vex go offline go house after lots of cancellations.

It is well sha...

@ thanks Boss.
Do you know the worst part?

Even if it was the riders that were cancelling on you, it will still affect your rating

If you cancel, e go affect am
If dem cancel, e go affect am

Any which way of cancellation, the rating is headed for the rocks grin

Executive cab my ass, with 17 years old Corolla like

You really need to quit the entitlement mentality, everybody will always want to be at an advantage, it's the game and if you can't get the longer end of the stick, just drop it.
I think the issue here is that drivers are not looking at the issue critically...

Drivers come here to lament of how hard it is to get trips despite the #500 fare. So is it when it becomes #2000 that you'll now get the trip?

Since the bird has learnt to fly without landing, the hunter should learn to shoot without missing

Whether we like it or not, competitors will come in and reduction in fares will prevail. Whether we also like it or not, people will still be putting cars into this business

Drivers should simply look into other options of breaking even...maybe changing the tools for the job(I've always believed the corolla is now a wrong tool for the job), or exploring other options

Because the bitter truth is if Uber increases the fare to #1200 minimum, getting a trip would be difficult

You were not getting numerous trips when it was #500, then will riders rush you when its #1200?

For those who can't take it like me, jejely quit grin

Hi guys, good afternoon.

I have an issue.

I had a ride. It was 2500. I asked the driver if he accepted transfers. He said no problem.

I arrived at my destination, it was late at night, my phone died, I asked him to text me his details and he did. At around 3am, I put on my phone and saw his text, so I transferred 3500 to him cos he tried and then I replied him 3500 sent thanks.

Only for him to start calling me with a very aggressive tone saying why am I doing like this bla bla that he didn't get any money.

I checked my balance, no money reversed yet, I sent him a screenshot of my debited account with his name on it. I wanted to send him another 2500 cos his tone was very aggressive but I just decided to call my bank to know what was happening. They confirmed to me that the transaction was successful on their end and the recipient should confirm with his bank. I sent him the recorded call with the customer care to confirm. He didn't text me again.

Now Uber says I owe 2500 from last trip when I wanted to book today, I tried using their app help but they Only have all those pretexted help. No access to their mail.

Does anybody know their mail or what should I do?

I'm regretting tipping him 1k extra now.

That's why I stated that it's law of demand and supply.

Corolla mata for naija is a bandwagon thing and Nigerians easily latch on to popular opinion no matter how erroneous it is. As long as everyone is doing it, then I should.

Even oyinbo man don Sabi naija mumu button for Corolla.

There are lots of other brands or models that are equally good or even better but I must confess say tru tru Corolla Sabi naija wella.
I understand you

You are speaking from a seller's perspective. I'm actually talking about a prospective buyer..

People buy cars way older and far more expensive just to collect and keep in dia garage.

The Corolla matter is simple economics, demand and supply.
