Inbtw: This transfer of a tin is becoming habitual for riders... I just drop a rider, that stopped by to use the ATM, only for us to get to destination and b asking me for account. I have to tell her I don't have one, she came up with an excuse of not remembering to withdraw for d trip while using d ATM. I just have to let it slide, cos d day is still young for bad vibes. I carried one last night and when it was time to pay, she asked for account number
Me: For what ma?
She keeps quiet.... And then started explaining how she's short of cash and I should please accept it.
I kept quiet.. And she just kept saying" Oga please... Say somethimg abeg"

slamstanlee: I am not a learner driver either. Rider put international airport. I asked to confirm: are we going to the international wing? She responded: no mm2 (so confidently) She must know her airline then i thought. Ngwanu we are here madam Rider: What is the difference between mm2 and mm1 I told her one is old and one is new. And two airlines operates in mm1 the rest on mm2. Rider: oh i cant see any sign of air peace. Me: that is mm1, but you tod me mm2, and its just behind us. Rider: oh, lets go to the mm1 then.
Details niyen. No offense, but as soon as you typed that, I suspected it would be a "She"
Carried one from Gbagada the other day. Got to the roundabout, she said its MM2 and that I should go straight. I told her MM2 is not straight..
At that moment, she knew she didn't know where she was and there was no need to form. Then she asked politely, " Please it's Aero I'm going to"
The rest is history |

taxiappguy: Hello everyone, I'm writing a post on what ride share companies should do better (in case they don't know). If you have an opinion on the matter please comment as a reply to this post. What changes would you like to see? For instance, what do you think they should do in order for drivers to earn more? That sort of thing. I appreciate your input in advance. Thanks guys. At bolded
Is it just about earning? Or generally?
I'd have loved them to look into issues concerning safety

All the people that begged the young man, including Tonye Cole couldn't offer Soyinka their sit too
Why? Abi none of them sit down near window?
Soyinka actually thought highly of himself, but unfortunately, he met someone who probably didn't care about his status or didn't even like him
Let's leave the young man Abeg |

AwkaetitiBabe: I simply dropped a societal observation and you yarning dust. I know there are some meetings in igbo land where single guys are not given seats sef.. Perhaps things are changing now but it was so before. You'd know if you know ur history. So being married automatically translates to "MEN"?
And if there's a meeting where single men are not allowed, then it means the single man isn't a man yet?
Maybe you should read what you typed again. It tells alot about what you think |

Time to derail
I have a question for married folks here? How do you guys cope when your wife is pregnant?
I carried a lady today. Obviously someone's wife. But she was so so unattractive. I really do not want to describe her with derogatory words...
And I thought within myself.. ..Is it possible that I'll find my wife unattractive when she's pregnant?
Maybe looks shouldn't be a criterion for one to choose a spouse.
Her looks made me give marriage a third thought |

pocohantas: Lol. I don't understand why people always opt to pay with transfers. For me, it is cash/card. 99% cash sef. I don't even think Nigeria is there with the card thing.
That said, as sexist as it might sound, I avoid confrontations with men. Let men fight themselves, settling such is more unbias. I once had an argument with a rider
She said she wants to pay with transfer. I declined... I was about to accept and I was advising her to change her mode of payment to card when she used the line "Please don't tell me what to choose. It's my money"
Na so I decline to collect am. Las Las, I dumped her at the ATM she withdrew from. My rating drop sha |

sweetguy10: Those agbero task force guys just arrested me at Ikotun immediately after governor’s road junction because I parked to buy soft drink and gala just opposite where I parked. They wrote a ticket of 25k and after much begging and intercession by the person I wanted to pick , they collected 7K - my hard earned money since 9AM and I had to pay to gauge my tires because they deflated the two front tires and that’s after the rider canceled because he had to “go somewhere urgently “. They moved me into their office and you need to see the shady deals et al being perpetrated there that’s while they all reek of cigarette and weed plus beer . The government that empowered these miscreants are still the one shouting that we leave crime and do a legal hustle , I’m frustrated , angry , sad and hopeless in this damned country... everything is a scam eventually . I’ve been on the road since 9AM only for some weed smoking , beer drinking , no lifers to take all my earnings because I parked to fill my farmished self on the same place where vanagons are parked . To hell with whatever ..... Bleep !!!!!! So sorry bro. Was it not you that started just recently?
Those are the cons of this business. Just forget the experience and move on. |
