This country is messed up and useless

So who do we penalize for bad roads? You can't go to Badagry without passing a one way.

You penalize people for worn out tires when the road alone is enough to puncture your tires back to back....

Rubbish country

Chai, police use this thing chop me tire for PHC till my last experience.

The light had turned red as I was about passing and stopped. The guy behind me, a cab driver kept blasting his horn. Since he probably knows the road better, I foolishly thought it was normal for drivers to flout the traffic light.

Just as I moved, the agberos working with the police came from nowhere to block me, the cab driver who had earlier been blasting his horn quickly slammed on his brake without crossing the line.

Long story short, had to part with 2k. Since that day, I swore never to fall victim again. Once I'm approaching the line and the traffic light is on 5, I just slowdown and stop.

Few times when I'm with madam, she'll say look at this other drivers who arrived after you still going and you've stopped.

I go just look am with one eye while I bind and cast any spirit that will make me part with N2000 grin
A traffic light is supposed to have a Green, Yellow and Red light, although the Yellow lights are being substituted for countdown timers

But in Lagos, I think they disconnect the yellow. So on an expressway, a traffic light turns from red to green immediately, which isn't supposed to be so

I also experienced it at Maryland one early morning. Was trying to pass at green, and it immediately turned red. My tires were past the line. Police block me and ask me to wind down. I refused

Queue Don dey my back. As e turn green, people begin blow horn. Them free me, I zoom off cool

Why? Uber blocked you? Because I don't think it's a good idea to use only bolt, bolt can be crazy with thier fares and the app is very unstable. You definitely drive your own vehicle and have other means.

I called ,but it went unanswered.the rider called me with another no.it was a female voice.

me:hello,good afternoon.......

rider: where are you?(I hate this question with a passion)

me: good afternoon ma,I'm at............

rider: (maliciously) Oga where are you!!!

me: (cancelled trip)
rider started calling non stop.didnt pick call.i will be cooked if I did.grin

I decided to call it a day.did pick and drop .visited my uncle, then another pick and drop home to my village in ikorodu.

So let me use my experience today to derail this thread small tongue

So my first trip was VI. Dropped rider and I got another(Heart leaped for joy)
Called rider and asked him his location. He told me. Asked him his destination and he flared up. He was like "Cancel it if you're not going. What's this rubbish?" and he hung the call on me.

My ego was telling me to cancel while the "meekful" spirit of Jesus(definately not mine) told me to get to the pickup.

Got there, oga entered and was just pouring his anger on me. He wasn't insultive neither did he disrespect me, but he was angry. I was trying to explain but he didn't want to hear. He said "If you want to go, start the trip or cancel so I'll come down".

I spoke briefly to God to change any Alagbole or Iju or Apapa there and I slid START TRIP. It was Sangotedo grin

Oga was just vexing and never even let me talk. He complained from Akin Adesola to Samuel Manuwa and finally he said "Don't talk to me please, just drive". All these while I was just saying "I'm sorry bros"

It's was a silent ride to his abode. Ended trip. Oga paid and then he said, "Will you be available by 2pm? I would like you to take me to Ikeja".

At that point, I knew I just graduated from 1 star to 2 star and above grin

Let me put this here for the remaining uber taxi drivers here....

Can you see one of them here!!! That stupid mindset. What is wrong in being a taxi driver? Is it degrading or derogatory?? Is a job that feeds you, come out , embrace it, be proud of it....don't discuss your failed career with your passengers or riders. He/she has issues too. Life is a journey, you encounter your poo, i deal with my mess!!! Grow up!!!

I am tired of hearing i have a bsc, mba , msc , mtn, phcn when i am in your taxi....
Can you show us where someone boasted about Msc on this thread?
You call us frustrated, call the thread useless

People like you are actually proud over nothing. Don't flatter yourself. Nobody has discussed anything with you

Its either you're are not capable of reasoning or its how you were wired. However, no need responding both your blabbing and insult.

None of them is a saint and the only used party here is the masses and the only side that suffer is you and your gullible lot. Both Atiku and Buhari are wealthy, of same origin, religion and beliefs. Both commit same sin and we should condemn each wrongdoing regardless of whose ox is gored. You, you don't have a side, an ideology, a belief, a motive or even a brain to decipher what's right or wrong.

So people don't run out of change Abi? In your years on this job, you've never ever run out of change baa?

Just keep your perfection for your riders. Every driver here knows we all run out of change at times. It's not a crime.
