pocohantas: Lol, they actually do it. It is the same way police will go to viewing centers and pack guys that are already heartbroken from Liverpool-Arsenal. You get to the station, or right there in their bus, you make a transfer and they let you go.
This is the season they make lots of money from such illicit arrest and home invasion. To be a young guy in Nigeria is very risky now. Add beards/iPhone to the mix, na correct searching them go give you. Why use Liverpool-Arsenal match now? |

vacanci: So what about the Jonathan's 2015 campaign picture above where seats were empty behind him, yet he had overwhelming victory there. I am not saying its not possible for one to have empty seats. I don't care about their campaign being empty
All I'm saying is that stadiums can be filled even with the president in it |
Politics › Re: 2019: Agbaje, Sanwo-olu Scramble For Igbo Support by izzou(m): 7:40am On Dec 30, 2018 |
Dpharisee: Because Agbaje billboards and posters are being pulled down by APC agents using state apparatus I stay in Festac for now, and I haven't seen Agbaje postes anywhere
I was surprised when I heard Sanwo-Olu talking on radio yesterday
The man has occupied almost all digital billboards in Lagos.
His campaign team shares fliers up and down. Common.
Agbaje is not even interested in the election. I'm sure of that |

Please endeavor to show me the empty spaces that will be left in Surulere. Please |

CilicMarin: Then can I ask you?
Why are Buhari moving with About 300 Security aides in this campaign, while Atiku of the PDP is moving with only about 15 security aides?
Do you the importance of a life of the President of any country? You really haven't been to a campaign ground before. You haven't even seen a president sef

delgroveng: Am not an APC nor a PDP card carrying member, but as for Lagos state, for sake of continuity of the success achieved for over 16 years. Its necessary Sanwo Olu is given our votes. Irrespective of tribe color or profession. So that, right after election, we can continue with commerce in Lagos for interest of the biggest Economic city in Africa. I think Agbaje has been in a slumber, it will take him about 1 year to come out of his slumber and then begin to look for who he will appoint..
On the grass roots, its okay, we look at a candidate based on his preparedness, PDP, YPP or APC in ditching our votes.
Am a businessman, a resident and an international representative of a few Asian interest here in Lagos. For GOVERNORSHIP, make no mistake, SANWO OLU has indirectly given us his credentials through his campaign approach. He is very fit for Lagos Leadership continuity. I'm telling you
I really don't know if he'll make a good leader, but he has been selling himself. Yes, his party has the funds, but it has been much more than that
He has been visiting people, places, been on talk shows and the rest. Agbeje is just relying on ethnic and tribal differences to score some points
Sanwo-Olu will win. It's a surety |

CilicMarin: And you went to bring a picture of Buhari as an ordinary citizen in a Stadium? If it is risky to have people behind the president because of security reasons, isn't it risky too to have people behind the president-to-be because of the same reason?
In your bid to sound intelligent, you sounded otherwise |

CilicMarin: The person you quoted mentioned Security of the President as the reason the crowd was asked to pour into the arena, and you went to dig out old picture of Buhari campaigning as an ordinary Candidate...
Who is acting like a dunce now, Mr.? I can still dig out pictures of anybody to prove that stadiums can be filled to the brim during campaigns.
Or would you want to see that of Jonathan if it will give you rest? |

CilicMarin: Why was there empty Seats behind Jonathan in a state he polled over 900,000 Votes? You are not making any sense
I am not concerned about why both Buhari and Jonathan had empty seats. My point is the excuse that the president can't be backing those behind the stage is false. Stadiums are usually filled to the brim and I have witnessed it |
Politics › Re: Throwback Picture Of Jonathan Campaigning In Akwaibom In 2015. by izzou(m): 7:02am On Dec 30, 2018 |
Mynd44: In both pictures, GEJ or PMB, I wouldn't subscribe to having people behind the stage especially when the CIC is on the stage.
It is a security risk, just like having a president stop at traffic lights Of course, no one would. But I can assure you that people fill the stadium to the brim and even outside the stadium will be choked.

Politics › Re: 2019: Agbaje, Sanwo-olu Scramble For Igbo Support by izzou(m): 6:59am On Dec 30, 2018 |
Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas and every living thing in Lagos will vote for Sanwo-Olu. The reason is simple
The man is working hard to get our votes already. Everywhere is painted with his face. Billboards, posters, and even on radio. That is how someone serious should act.
I would have loved Lagos to change hands though, but for the umpteenth time, Agbaje and the PDP aren't ready.
Sanwo-Olu will win, unless God says otherwise |

Will anyone put people behind the stage?
This shouting contest is tiring I have been to campaign grounds, and yes, people sit behind the stage because the place is usually filled. Search google. You'll see enough pictures

To me, Ambode performed well. Yes, he may have made some wrong decisions, but he did work.
I still find it funny how APC supporters say he underperformed, and see Buhari as an overperformer
And yes, the project is timely. It's supposed to end by January 2019 but I doubt if they can achieve that |

You may hate the messenger, but the message is on point
That road has existed since Adam slept with Eve. A government expanded it and started collecting toll till forever.... How does that make any sense?
Ikoyi link bridge is appropriate for tolls, but not an existing road.
