PoliticsRe: Ojukwu (Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu) Is Dead by JamesDoe: 11:07am On Nov 26, 2011
Ok. RIP as I said, but my comments are not myth.

Mission was not accomplished, it was in fact abandoned.

If the mission was accomplished or not abandoned, will we be discussing here?

Nigerians are poor at finishing, why can't we recognise that though he may have had good intentions, his implementation and execution was poor. Add on his behaviour after the "pardon" and he falls short of a "hero".

Ojukwu is no Mandela. If you believe in something and hundred of thousands of your citizens die you don't abandon it just because some "fella" pardoned you. So by accepting the pardon, Ojuwku accepted he was wrong to fight Biafra? Rubbish!

RIP Mr Army man. Mission abandoned!
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu (Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu) Is Dead by JamesDoe: 10:05am On Nov 26, 2011
He finally joins the millions that his actions and inactions caused.

His death should not be glorified because his actions after the war of dining with and plotting with those who committed genocide should not be forgotten.

By accepting a "pardon" and collaborating with the same b.ast.ards who committed atrocities, Lt Col Ojukwu (Rtd) has shown he abandoned his "people" in his later years.

People should weep for the dead, the injured, the starved, the children and innocents killed at Asaba, Onitsha and elsewhere but don't weep for a dead army man. He failed his mission.

RIP Mr Soldier, mission not accomplished!

BusinessRe: France Loans Nigeria 100 Million Euros To Develop Lagos. by JamesDoe: 10:20pm On Nov 25, 2011
Seems the total financing is $330m for transportation.

I do hope it is more comprehensive than simply buying buses but includes technology transfer, fixing of roads and rail transport.

A good move if properly implemented.

Is he dead, alive, zombified or other?

PoliticsRe: Governor Rauf Aregbesola's Achievements One Year After by JamesDoe: 7:16pm On Nov 25, 2011
Cold hard numbers and facts (before and current):

1) Unemployment?
2) Homeless?
3) Internally Generated revenue?
4) Infant mortality?
5) GDP per capita?

If the above facts cannot be produced and backed up then everything else is hot air!

If the reason for your question is whether to join pyrates or whatever - then the answer is no!

Stay away from these groups and face your books and normal student interactions!
PoliticsRe: Suggest Your New Chairman Of Efcc To Mr President. by JamesDoe: 10:16pm On Nov 23, 2011
EFCC chairman needs to be a serving or retired police officer.

The acting chairman should be confirmed but vetted properly.

Wow, so much vitriol being spewed at Yorubas.

Do you hold your d.ick and cross your legs because you're afraid of Yorubas?

Why the pock do you have so much hatred? Leave the Core North, you wouldn't hear word. Instead it is to become an Internet Ninja and swear at Yorubas. Stop acting like a child, stay in your homeland and develop your backyard. If you are so bitter at other regions then stay in your zone!

PoliticsRe: Policemen Involved In Money Scrambling At Tinubu’s Trial To Be Arrested by JamesDoe: 8:26pm On Sep 24, 2011
The picture above doesn't really show any evidence of what the headline purports.

Where is the money being thrown around?
Is this in the grounds of the courts. Why then does it not show the court?
Where are the ACN chieftains throwing the money, unmask them!
The pix looks like police scrambling for something - beating someone up maybe?

I'm surprised that corruption in the NPF is news to the Inspector General. He sure is very slow,

CrimeRe: The Boys In The Video Are Not ABSU Students - Governor Orji by JamesDoe: 7:46pm On Sep 21, 2011
This incident is such a metaphor for Nigeria.

A handful of men have violated 150m people.
There was a scuffle at the start when the citizens fought back but gave in after some serious genocidial beatings.
The violators have promised to drop the citizens in the promised land (Vision 2020/5000 megawatts etc)
The citizens are now on the floor being violated, LIVE
The citizens have lost the strength to shout and can now only "comply" to avoid soldiers beating them up.
Good people in Nigeria are watching an saying, why can't the victims stand up!

A damn shame!
BusinessRe: FG signed N240bn Power & Refinery Deal With EU by JamesDoe: 7:50am On Sep 21, 2011
Kosovo is not part of the EU and cannot represent the EU. An Internet search of the companies being bandied about only links back to the above story.

As much as I would like to hail this story, our rulers like to deceive and so my skepticism remains high.

Abeg, the reporters are writing in "good faith" and some may be influenced by "brown paper bags" but people did go to school for Naija and so will need a little bit more evidence.
PoliticsRe: Who Is Really After Tinubu, And Why? by JamesDoe: 7:33am On Sep 21, 2011
Tinubu is a big thief but much bigger thieves in the ruling party are left to "swan" around.

CrimeRe: The Boys In The Video Are Not ABSU Students - Governor Orji by JamesDoe: 1:06am On Sep 21, 2011
And we wonder how transatlantic slavery could have gone on for so long.

We have people willing to sell their souls for wretched silver defending politicians who fail to act. Justice in Nigeria is a fucking joke!
CrimeRe: The Boys In The Video Are Not ABSU Students - Governor Orji by JamesDoe: 1:32pm On Sep 20, 2011
This poor lady is being raped multiple times:

-1) by the 5 beasts;
-2) by commentators on twitter, online forums and blogs;
-3) by newspapers; and
-4) by justice apparently failing to act.

If she had come forward and publicly identified the guys, is it the above with their dismal track record that will protect her?

I dont care even if she was the Town Ashawo, No is No and the 1 hour version and the abridged version clearly shows her in distress and saying no in different languages.

It is easy to sit and type accusatory words blaming her. I don't care what her lifestyle was, those rapists have probably done a similar thing before and will do it again. And next time, it could be you irrespective of whether you are a man or a woman.

The state governor can shout Abia for Abians but the fool appears incapable of protecting the Abians already in Abia.
CrimeRe: Blogger Offers N200k For Information About Absu Gang Of Animals by JamesDoe: 11:37pm On Sep 19, 2011
^^^^

Not if you've been raped by cult members who may very well be part of a much larger group who know where you live and where your parents live.

5 men capable of raping that lady could also be capable of more. Will the police be there to protect her when the fellow cult members of those 5 thugs to after her?

The police should find those men and any cults they belong to should be dealt with!
CrimeRe: Blogger Offers N200k For Information About Absu Gang Of Animals by JamesDoe: 9:00pm On Sep 19, 2011
Wow,

So it is the victim's job to solve crimes. It is not enough that she had been violated by 5 cult members. Do you think she was not threatened.

Naija is bleeped if this is how people think.
PropertiesRe: My Landlord Insist I Pay Full Year Rent Or Pack Out In Lagos by JamesDoe: 10:04am On Sep 19, 2011
Before you run to lawyer, bear in mind the Landlord can illegally kick you out and then ask you to sue him.

Your case could go to the courts and just "die" there. Consider your personal circumstances first.

It may be better to pay him and then sue him. Even if all you pay him is part of and not the whole amount he seeks.
PoliticsRe: Ibb Will End Up Being The One That Comes Up With The Best Soln To Boko Haram by JamesDoe: 10:52pm On Sep 18, 2011
Is IBB committing "Seppuku"?

He should acknowledge that he has embarrassed himself and let the nation down and then disembowel himself with a bread knife. Before he does that the stolen billions should be returned.

The above will go some way to restoring Nigeria. Other corrupt leaders to should follow through!
