Just because you have registered yourself in nairaland with a unique username and password doesn't automatically allocate sense to you. So wike is richer than Elumelu ?

Tell me wikes private investment or companies that you can see on ground? Why didn't Forbes recognize wike as one of Africas richest men? Elumelu should be in top 20 I am damn sure. U have no issues with Wike but saying that an average politician any a richer than a savvy business mongul demonstrates the shallowness of ur thinking.

One day you will say Buhari is richer than RONALDO. Una no dey shock me again...... Lol
I never said Wike is Richer than Elumelu. I said Wike controls more money than Tony Elumelu per annum. I suggested that more money passes through Rivers state coffers in a year( allocation and IGR) than what Tony's businesses can generate per annum.

And the reason for my assertion was the baseless remark by one element that Tony Elumelu was bigger than the president of Nigeria. You will not see such tasteless remark, but will gladly jump onto my own.

Though Embezzlement is evil, Wike can comfortably be richer than Elumelu. Afterall in Nigeria, politics is a full time job and career. grin

You are a certified fool.

See how you are preaching about.

You claimed Elumelu is worth $1.8B. And I'm asking you to prove your claims. You just dey run around in circles. Your type will make baseless claims and generate vain talk to deflect from substance.

I clearly told you forbes estimated him in 2015 to be worth $500M and he couldn't have made extra $1.3B in 7+ years.

What is he known for na. Except finance, what else does he do?. Elemelu is a rich man no doubt but I don't see him being a Billionaire in dollars.

If you say he is, list his businesses and assets.

I dey wait. grin

Guy change your mentality else u will die impoverished.
Anuofia, I expected you that is an authority on Tony Elemelu to show me the various business he has and their net value, So we can conveniently believe you know what you're saying. As far as I'm concerned you are typing rubbish if you can't show proof of claims.

You think you are in your local village where you can gather the illiterate and uninformed and spew whatever you like to them. Show us the business Elumelu and the net value of each to buttress your claims. You dey even mention Dangote where Elumelu dey? Seems like you're crazy.

Ewu Gambia. Tony Elemelu is worth $1.8B via unverifiable sources. As far as forbes is concerned he was worth $500M in 2015. So you're telling me he made $1.3B extra in 8yrs. That is a period when the world has been in recession since 2020 and the value of the Naira has plummeted dangerously. You must be a compound fool.

DaddyFreeze2020:
I just realized that Wike talks too much. For any man who wants to remain relevant in Nigerian politics, its better you keep quiet and be a smart strategist.

The suspended PDP chairman Iyorchia Ayu who Wike has been mocking was once a member of Tinubu's ACN. Ayu has long been a friend and support base to Bola Tinubu.

I wonder what makes Governor Nyesom Wike thinks that because he won votes for Tinubu in 2023, he's automatically superior to suspended PDP Chairman Ayu who has been a friend and support to Tinubu since in the early 1990s.

Politics in Nigeria is like a career. You lose today, you win tomorrow. You're suspended today, a bigger appointment is given to you tomorrow. The bottom line is staying humble and never talk too much else you'll be seen as a liability
The implication of your write-up is your suggestion that Ayu sold out Atiku because of his friend Tinubu.

Other than that, I dont understand the sense in your write-up.

Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

We have noticed the use of ethnic slurs and other derogatory names by a small but persistent group of political actors and trolls.

This practice of derogatory name-calling adds no value to the forum. It's bad for our mental health, our harmony as a community, and the reputation of Nairaland. It's simply toxic. It's absence and the absence of the people who use those slurs will not be missed.

Therefore I have decided to ban the practice entirely. I have instructed dominique, mukina2, Lalasticlala and Mynd44 to ban anyone who uses an ethnic slur or derogatory name on Nairaland. The antispam bot will also contribute to the effort. Please report any case that you see.

Please explain the 20 million population and less than a million voting? I want to learn if you have facts.
My dad and mum and 4 siblings totaling 7 and our 5 spouses making a grand total of 12. We all agreed to vote for Peter Obi on election day.

On that day, nobody voted. But we all have PVC.

Similar scenario played out amongst the populace, where for one reason or the other, people just didn't vote.

So the statistics isn't wrong but voter apathy.

Ehinjuola:
My name is Dimeji (not real name tho), I'm in my final lap in one of the prestigious uni in Nigeria.

It happens my fiancee and I have been dating for long now, recently she discovered that she missed her period (though I'm not happy with it and at the same time I don't want ab*rtion) and couple the fact that I really love this lady and I want future with her.

I want to quickly do her introduction before the bump is visible n I have taken a bold step by taken my parents to hers for unofficial intro before the real intro which has been set for next two months.

But recently I do observe that she do post on her status about praying not to choose wrongly in term of relationship, (she has once asked me whether I don't feel we are rushing things in one of our conversation one time like that) plus the fact that whenever I called her recently the vibe is not there any longer, this is the person we are both serious with the relationship oo Infact she's the one that's pushing thing initially.

My question now is that, Is it anxiousness or marriage phobia or early pregnancy symptoms or she's just confuse or the feeling of not been ready that's worrying her? (She will be 26 next month)
Nothing much. She knows you cannot stand on your own without your parents assistance. She doesn't want a husband who is dependent on his parents and as such will be dancing to their tunes.

She is smart. And she deserves to be with her kind of man. grin tongue

I only advised you oh. I did not insult you.
