Op, I will advise you to stay back and and arrange how you and your sister will share the rent.
Keep saving and buy a land. Continue saving and be building it little by little. Finish building and either park in or rent it, but you would have succeeded in another good stream of income. Now you can go rent your own place if you want.

There's no point moving to get your own place where your bills will be more. Once you have your own place, the ladies must start coming and you could become distracted from your goals.

Why do most Ladies ACT before Thinking?
Now you have trended, which is what you craved for and still craving for....
Ur mates are trending for worthy reasons..
Here you are trending as a child of perdition via the act of churning out nude videos.
U think you are the only one having SEXXX!

Your VIDEO will forever remain viable.
The Internet never never forgets.
It takes nothing to save such video..
Even Michael Jackson paid heavily to have his sister's (Janet) nude video off the internet, yet we still have that on YouTube.
Next time, Think before you go HAYWIRE !
Stop being over dramatic. By next year everyone would have forgotten her face and even the sex tape. If she didnt talk I didnt know there is even a sex tape.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Jobs People Look Down, That They Are Now Doing. by Jaqenhghar: 5:22pm On May 26, 2022
Truvelisback:
Good day, fellas. I will be mentioning some jobs people look down, that they are now doing.
1. Bus Conductor: Then, Bus conduct jobs are jobs people claimed or see as jobs meant for illiterates, school drop outs, touts or for people who don't have future. Many people have shyed away from doing this job and many are still shying away from as a result of this. 2ndly, there is this belief or assumption that, the job is meant for guys alone, lol. Now, ladies are doing the job.

2. Shoe Cobbler: In a lame's man language, shoe maker. Then it was assumed or believed that the job is meant for the Aboki or Mallam people(Northerns). The truth is that, they were the ones very popular and famous for the job. U will rarely see other tribes doing the job. But now, people desire to learn it. Some people are now earning a living with it.

3. Cleaner(Compound cleaning)/cleaning in general: Women are now doing this job to earn a living. Married women and single-mothers, most especially.

4. Barbing: In those days, people rarely value or don't value Barbing as a job. Then, if u want to barb, u will have to walk far away from ur home to have a haircut. Do u know why? Only very people had interest to be a barber. But now, u can easily see Barbing salon in every street. Back then, it wasn't so.

These are the ones i can remember for now. U can add urs.

Generally Niggerians hate hard work. Hard work is called suffering. Thats why they all want to be in one office where they will sit all day doing nothing

If you are rich, the best place to spend your money & have rest of mind without thinking of too much taxation to me is still Nigeria.
Apart from the fact you are a into Medicine, Nursing or I.T which pay well abroad, 90% of the time it's actually frustration, unemployment & lack of opportunities in Nigeria that make people try to travel out of the country.
I have a friend who spent more than 2 million Naira trying to aquire a U.S Visa. Few weeks to the day he was supposed to fly to the U.S, he got a job of 500K per month in Umuahia.
Immediately my guy abandoned all the plans he had of traveling out, plus the 2 million he had already spent & Immediately accepted the job.
Now he's doing well, just bought a Car & is already planning on building a house & settling down.
He no longer even thinks of leaving the country again.
The devil you know, is better than the angel you don't know.
A lot of people still went to the U.S & flopped big time.

For those having doubts, he works in C.B.N Umuahia branch, and mind you his salary of 500k is just for starters.
If his promotion comes as expected, he would be earning more than 5 million Naira in a month before retirement.
Then try to imagine how many million Naira his gratuity would be together with his pensions after retirement.
That is what is called job security & earning money without stress.
For how many years would you keep working as a laborer abroad before you get tired??
Any reasonable person would prefer a good paying job with security & retirement benefits to being a laborer for life.

But if you still prefer to be a laborer abroad who would be cleaning windows for a living for life, then so be it.

And for those talking about security, nowhere on earth is absolutely safe.
Just yesterday an 18-year old gunned down 13 school children at their school in US.
Nigerians who also relocated to Ukraine, where are they now?
Stop saying stuff you dont know. There is so much horseshit i this your write up I dont even know where and how to start tackling it.
To you that window cleaning job is veneath you but peope eat and raise families on it. That man you see uas a life insurance policy and if anything happens to him him /his family will be well compensated. He is treated even better than most of your bankers and he most likely drives a better car than that your friend you are talking of.
Over there there is dignity in labour and any hard workibg person is respected irrespective of his trade. You niggers on the other hand sneer and look dow on hard work yet wonder why your country is the way it is

You talk of lack of security . Tell me how many times children have been killed and the murderers brought to book in that dump. In fact I dare you go outside your home at 2am for a week lets see if you will live to tell the story. Una go dey talk wetin pass una power. Anyone listening to you will think you know what you are saying

What people don't realize is that there is no such thing as a career, or I will put it this way, the people that have a fulfilling career are very tiny. If the job pays you do let you to live a respectable life, then that is the ideal. The idea that you must be in a suit with a tie in an office is nonsense. Arrant nonsense.

Human civilizations are not built on suits and ties but on hard grinding work. From the peasants building and maintaining railways to long-haul interstate drivers even accross countries, to the sewage workers, the farmers, traffic guys, and so forth. These are the people that powers society, the majority in the background, not the tiny veneer of men in suits that are sprinkled on top. These ordinary men and women are the heros of society but sadly, these are the people we don't want to be like.

In other words, we live in a cappuccino society, where beneath is an untold amount of ordinary men and women keeping the system from crumbling, but with a sprinkle of tiny men on suits on top. Lots of people depressed themselves for nothing because they have filtered their vision not to see the majority that powers society, to see only the tiny ones.

And here comes the most important one, which is contentment. Contentment doesn't mean settling for less, or not aspiring to be more, but it's about being okay with what you have while working to improve it. Probably Nigeria hasn't reached the peak of educated masses, but in all developed countries where most of the populations are educated up to 99% (eg Canada, US, UK), the majority of the workforce are not happy with their jobs, and even Ph.D. holders do taxi jobs.

This is sad to say, but personally, I see how many of my ex-classmates torture themselves just because they think life after school should be nirvana. Some postpone the pain by taking more courses, embarking on more degrees, and so forth, but shifting the goal post doesn't mean the post isn't there, it's still waiting albeit, a bit farther. Perhaps if they could just see that the world is not powered by men in suits, but by men on rags, it shall be well with them.
I wish I could like this more than once.

What do you understand by menial jobs. Whenyou first come to a country you dont expect them to just give you a CEO position. Those "menial jobs" you speak of is what people used to survive and in some cases train themselves for better opportunities. Nurses are burnt out not because they are forced. They took more shift to make more money. Their choice.

My aunt was a nurse in North London for 10 years, 5 years ago, she moved down to the North. Wakefield to be precise. Noe she has her own house and travelling on vacation. Staying in London is a choice.

A banker in Abuja earning 400k may be paying rent. A colleague in same bank in Ekiti will own lands and houses. Same salary, same bank. different locations
You can make your points with out comparing tliving standards in Niggeria. Like I said you are looking at it through the lens of a Nigerian where thesse things are a luxury. Having your own house and going on vacation 2-3 times a year is not luxury over there. These are basics. Even school teachers and security men go on vacations and own their houses.

2. The redpillers.

These ones are always fighting with ladies every now and then. The crazy thing about them is that sex is the bullet they use to make satisfactory points.

3. The Liars.

Ha! These ones are just wonderful! They can claim wetin dem no bi, and lie lie lie just to be seen as a public figure...as a wealthy dude. Like huncle, nobody gives a F of who you are! Their major targets are hungry Nairaland girls, or those desperate to hookup.

Not in a western world. You work long hours because you signed up for it and because it comes with extra pay.

If you tell your manager you can't do extra hours, they won't force you. if you report that you were compelled to do it. it will be investigated and your manager knows the implication.

The pay for nurses are not miserable sir. I don't know the country you are but a young nurse in Nigeria earns 40k a young nurse in UK earns 28 to 32k in UK. that's 23 million naira a year. A nurse in Nigeria earns less than 500k a year
Your problem is you argue as if money solves everything. Go on reddit go and hear how nurses are complaining of burnout. No amount of money can compensate you for that.
I see you do this mistake Nigerians make of c9nverting the money to naira 23 million maubbe big bucks in naija bit when youbconvert it to GNP, try living in London with it and you will understand

EPISODE 4
... December 2020, I got a call from one of those companies I had sent my CV to for unsolicited jobs. The first thing the lady (who is currently my boss) told me was, I saw your CV and I like it. It sounded like I heard Joe Biden telling me to pack my luggage and come to the United States.
she wasn't the HR but somehow my CV got to her and my experience was relevant to the department she's heading, she did a mini interview for me to feel my weight right on the phone. She asked how much I was willing to take as salary I mentioned but her response to me suggested I fumbled on that part. so I took my mind of it and continued with my blind firing.
My people , May 2021, I received an email from the organization's HR for a virtual 45 min interview. I had 3-4 days to prepare. I prepared like it was an interview to enter Heaven. I have never prepared for interview like that in my life. The d-day came, 45mins of virtual interview was like 5mins. Adequate preparation paid off really well. And of course God was 100% in control. I was asked how much I'm willing to take. I mentioned and there was no arguments/negotiations. 3weeks after the interview, I got an offer beyond my surprise. This included a very comprehensive HMO for wife and four kids.
I resumed the job July 2021 with probationary period of 6 months. The 6 months will be ticked this January 2022. Guess what? Another surprise that happened.
December 31st 2021, I received a promotion letter while still on probation. I am dazed till now.
Let me also add that it's a remote job. I work right from inside my house with my boxers.Lol

My fellow Nigerians job hunting, I understand the pains you're going through. The pains of rejections, the pains of failing that interview, The pains of joblessness itself. The pains of being broke. I have been through it. Please don't give up, Don't relent. Trust the process, and carry God along. Change strategies, take certifications, do volunteer jobs, you can as well take unpaid internship jobs and be intentional about making the best of the experience. And don't forget, let your CV be a verb and express quantifiable results you achieved.
This year, you'll get your Congratulation letter for that job.
Good job. You can't go wrong with hard work. The fruits may jot co.e when you want it but you will always reap the benefits. Good luck
