Japhet31: Without a deeper thought, one may be conclude that you were being ethnic about the matter whereas you were only saying to note the intra-tribal nature of this fracas.
I have always said it that a businessman's first loyalty is to profit. Things such as ethnicity, blood relation etc all come after profit. Was surprised they couldn't get this simple point. |

Hacked acct? Nothing hacked. I have a personal resolve to disabuse people of the mindset of crying ethnic victimization for everything. This news reinforces it. |

Sleevia: I am not quarreling with you. I just had to point out that your POV on this thread is entirely irrelevant and unrelated.
It is best suited for when what you opined resurface.
Deal with the issue on ground and call it what it is. Those are people's jobs on the line because of the decommissioning, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters who are breadwinners of their family will be affected.
School fees will not be paid, house rent will not be paid food will vanish from tables..
Why hasn't Dangote's cement been shut down for all the killings by his trucks?
I will begin to take most of you learned Nigerians serious when you start applying conscientious commentaries in your discourse. Until then, have a nice day. I have a longstanding personal resolve to fight the tendency of Nigerians to introduce tribal slants to business disagreements between people of different tribes. The news advances the arguments I have always made. I have the right to use it. You are not the one to tell me the angle to choose to comment in a piece of news. |

Interestingly, I'm usually very casual with these applications. Never submitted mybank statements. In fact this year? I didnt even put official company sponsor letter that I used to attach in the past, just a printout of my email to my CFO in London office that I need to come to the UK and his response with "approved". |

Sleevia: I read your comment on Facebook on this issue.
When you wanna talk next time, be bold enough to mention the name of the people.
Instead of attending to issue on ground, which is a clear attack from someone like Dangote, a move that characterize his brand of entrepreneurship... A man who can't fair healthily under intense competition, which will also cause unemployment, you choose to try play ethnic politics again.
Doesn't this confirm what was said about Ibeto? Since Ibeto is out of the way, BUA now his target.
I am igbo by the way if you must know. We don't give a fork about what most of you think. Be bold enough to comment with your real name on my Facebook wall. |

They have started. I have always been an advocate of common sense. This event reinforces an argument I have always made, even on the pages of newspaper, that at such level in business there is nothing like ethnic victimization. GTB vs Innoson had no ethnic undertone, it was purely business disgreement like this one. I will not relent in driving home that point with any relevant event that reinforces it. |

We have so many ororo nad Messi littered around the country,
But the system is too lazy to identify them..
If you want the country Jersey, you must wear it with pride.
I wish them the best. Many Tammy Abrahams, maybe. Not many ororo or Messi. If you're as good as Messi or has potential to be, you will be found even if you live in the remotest village. |

Education › 1st Annual Michael Taiwo GRE & GMAT Scholarship Awards by Jarus(op): 8:25am On Oct 02, 2019 |
Acing the GRE/GMAT is the most important part of a successful application to graduate schools in the US and to some schools in Canada. Application letters, undergraduate GPA, and letters of recommendation all matter but not nearly as much as the GRE or GMAT score. As small as the GRE/GMAT registration fee may appear, it is observed that many Nigerians still struggle to be able to afford it. In light of this, Dr. Michael Taiwo, a US-based Nigerian engineer is instituting a support for Nigerians wishing to study in those two countries. The support- Payment of registration fees for two candidates for GRE and one candidate for GMAT - Mentoring EligibilityThe scholarship award is open to final year students in Universities in Nigeria as well as recent graduates (who graduated not earlier than 2013) Candidate must have graduated with a CGPA of 4.0 in a 5-point system (or equivalent CGPA if not based on a 5-point scale) or, in the case of final year students, have such CGPA as at end of the penultimate year. ApplicationInterested candidates should send an email to jarushub@gmail.com with the following information: - Email subject: Application for Michael Taiwo Scholarship (GRE or GMAT as applicable) - Name - School - Course of study - Year of graduation - CGPA - Short note (not more than 10 lines) on why you want your registration for the exam financed Application closes 15 October 2019. Please note that shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test to hold in Lagos in the last week of October 2019. https://www.jarushub.com/1st-annual-michael-taiwo-gre-gmat-scholarship-awards/ |
