Due to the many mentions I received here today, I spent the last few hours scrambling for information from my secondary sources (not to break covenant with my primary source, I didn't ask him/her).

To the best of everyone's knowledge, the recruitment has not been canceled and it will see the light of the day. One, who's close to powers up there, responded emphatically that the cancellation is a "big lie". It may however take longer than envisaged. Resumption could be as far as next year.

I think it's only table tennis I can use left for. Occasionally score football goals with left too. That's where my use of left leg/hand ends. Can't use for any other activity.

I used to be above average in table tennis when I was much younger but no longer. I'm average now. I enjoy playing football more these days.

I got to second round only because I had a walkover in first round (my opponent did not come). I was beaten black and blue in the 2nd round.

All the other 4 reps of my then company (whose opponents came) were beaten in first round. So, technically, I went farthest in the competition. I moved to a new company few weeks after that competition.

Gbriels you missed jarus's whole point, the caveat he added to his response was not just for that particular question but for future questions on the same issue.

Now we know he has info but he cant share, no one would really ask about APL from him again. If he gives a white lie some other person would still ask the same question maybe in 2 or 3 days time. IMO I think he gave the best answer.

Frankly an apology to him would be ok, but you can do you, and if you find yourself in a similar situation as jarus, the same way he answered should suffice and that is in no way pride.

I know you can answer everyone on the thread but it's not really necessary, see it from his perspective too.

I agree with you that anyone can withhold information if they chooses to do but the idea of making people aware you are doing that is so unnecessary.

Well, the dynamics of NNPC's next move has always been unpredictable on weekly basis. Anyone can easily deduce much is at stake for a lot of people maybe that's the reason why people tend to infer result/outcome before performing the experiment. Personally, I think when NNPC ends it is only when people will stop twisting instances to align with their various hypotheses.

Even with the cushion of "no bad news"? It's not my business to teach people how to decode things.

One guy specifically mentioned my name for update and I tried to satisfy all parties - my friend who reads this thread ("can't give specific update " ) as well as the guy that asked me question ("but no bad news " ) . It was a political sentence to make all parties happy, yet the truth.

Not that I owe anybody any explanation anyway.

Call me proud, anything, really don't care, I have engaged in social media/online interactions long and actively enough to be unmoved by these things. As I always say, they come with social interactions, you can't stop anyone from saying anything about you. I realized that long ago.
