You are a rapist sympathiser and have little knowledge of how the court or law works, if she goes solo to court to state her case, it will just be concluded as an HEARSAY and striked out because there are no more evidences, just her word against his, she coming to social media and bearing it all is a road to recovery and giving other victims the opportunity to come out so that they all can state a very strong case against him, in saner climes, when there are multiple victims of rape against a person and a pattern, the rapist is as good as convicted.

Coming to social media and bearing it all to the public like I said, is for her peace of mind and a road to recovery, yes getting public sympathy is also a good step to healing not for validation to any rubbish, but of course, how can you know this when you're not a woman and never been raped, some victims will not give two fvcks who or how popular the rapist is in the society, a victim can never be unraped.

What would help society is if we see actual rapists getting punished for their crime. it would set an example for others. But getting public sympathy as you said does not help the situation. In a month's time, all this hysteria will die down, everything will be forgotten and we are back to square one. The first place to report a rape case should be the police station or contact NGO's who are involved in fighting rape especially when you can identify the rapist and that should be done immediately. Delaying simply gives time for the story to take different forms. Also many wicked women hide under this rape toga to falsely accuse innocent men of rape. The case of Neymar comes to mind. It is a very potent tool that evil women use to blackmail men and that can be very damaging too. There are some cases that are have being greatly exaggerated because they know the majority would always side with the woman in any case of violence between the two genders. So it is very necessary to follow the laid down procedures in tackling crime rather than looking for social media attention
