@Nana Just asking |
@ Nana R u available? |
I actually graduated from city university "MSc Information Engineering" (Cass business school is part of city university), and have quite a lot of friends that studied the MSc Investment Banking and related courses who have now gone on to start successful careers as traders, analyst in the city. Surprisingly enough, i actually work for an organisation that is door to door with Cass business school in the city so if you do choose to come to Cass, i will be more than happy to take you out for lunch. Cass is ranked the third best in UK in terms of business related courses and majority of investment banks in the city recruit from the school. The course is very expensive as well but believe me when you eventually get that elusive job it will be worth while. An ex-classmate of mine now works for JP Morgan as an analyst |
@ Nannu That's definitely the way forward. You need to be sure if he his who you want (dis is the most important thing me think) as it will be very difficult to detect if someone really loves you. Ball is in your court. You own the key to your own destiny and you are definitely welcome to take a slow lane |
@ Nannu Definitely not a "Nigerian guys" thing. I agree with you, it's a bit strange to be proclaiming love for you only after a week of knowing each other. Makes it even hard to understand his motives since he his not in need of papers (This you really need to confirm, not that their is anything wrong in it as long as he his for real and your feeling towards each other is absolutely mutual) Might be that he wants to get into your pants and using that magic word will make the process easier with minimum fuss. Advice which you probably already know is that you guys have to get to know each other before he can even start mentioning dat word. Some people find it hard to differentiate between likeness and love. It is quite possible that he likes fanices you but believe me it doesn't amount to love. |
Anyone interested in Electronics Engineering (Digital or Analogue)? Mathlab? |
dats very easy Not wild enough. 2 conventional |
what about suing for sexual harassment? I'm sure you'd win a sizeable sum. An ongoing case inside the massive NBA franchise (NY Nicks) whereby Isiah Thomas is being sued for same purpose. Offered the girl somewhere in the region of half a million (not sure abt exact figure) but the girl decided to go to court instead (Good choice as her compensation will run into millions and most importantly will leave with dignity). |
any aug 6th in the house? |
I'm sure that will be the only time when it doesn't matter how strong/active and endurance wise the guy will be compared. He can't even start thinking what if the gun jams or even more interesting the dad forgets to include the deadly bullet. I know I'd beat the world record if i was in that situation as safety will surely overcome satisfaction on d day. |
watching/playing the game called Golf is somewhat relaxing. A great thrill if you can post/boast an under score card. |
well said but still, i guess the constant fear of hearing weird sound of d girls dad cocking da gun will add to the thrill. A very dangerous road! |
seems peeps have diverted from d thread |
@lamidebaby uhm dats something else oh. what if the dad points an AK-47 to his head whilst doing the dirty. |
Not worth a debate. As glaring as a double decker bus in the mist of danfos. Bush is all about war whilst Clinton breathes/eats democracy. only stain on Clinton's administration i think will always be the "cigar" ("I did not have any sexual relationship with that woman") saga with Monica Lewinsky. In contrast, do we want to count how many soldiers, civilians have died because of bush's aggression or perhaps less competent way of dealing with terrorism. |
Depends on the angle you wanna see it from. First and foremost, we have to look at the state, future of the numerous oil producing stable nations in the world. Oil is an essential commodity that drives world financial markets, provides livelihood for so many people (Job, transportation, money which in turn can be used for tourism i.e. some countries in middle east, money to help develop the country, technology in terms of renewable energy, drive to research in terms of nuclear technology, solar energy, etc). My point is we should see it has a blessing as there are so many benefits attached to it if managed properly. I know a lot can be said as well in terms of it being a curse. (Their was a quote in the film blood diamonds where by one of the sierra Leonean made reference to they being lucky that oil hasn’t been discovered in their country). We can also talk about the effects of its bi-products “Global Warming” another key topic being discussed heavily in the developed nation. What we need are stable, reliable, God-fearing people that will help manage our main generating resource (in terms of revenue) to provide a better future for the our/next generation |
I concur with "@denex". Nigeria as a nation moving from decades of under-development/ misuse of power will never be a thing of the past over-nigth. Obj contrary to believe did the little he could do bearing in mind that he ain't no messiah nor was he a God sent. Although little changes like graduates being recruited into well paid jobs (Nigerian Standard) is now not a thing of the past. Whenever i read d numerous and overly interesting threads on this website as per job vacancies and all, i really do feel encouraged and proud as we the future of our great nation will hopefully be in a better position to be able to hold official (Government) position and in turn drive change as by that time the need to make greed a primary of well being or mean to attain success would have been eradicated. I know no road is without bumps but I'm still hopefull. All we pray for is that our current president to add/continue the good works (no matter how little it may have been) his predecessor passed on. Nigeria is and will never be a one man mission. Everyone has to contribute to make it better. Why don't we all start from shouting Gob bless Nigeria once a day! |
invited? |
@nana: I'm liking the idea of ewedu. uhm been a long time. mouth watering. Can you cook it for me as well? |
@naija_diva: i suppose before the "up close & personal" a medium of engagement/communication (getting to know each other) needs to be established. |
.. |
