styveke: It happened in Alade market Ikeja. I needed to buy some dollars, one guy came and said he can get it for me cheap. He asked me to wait for him, he collected my money and gave me his own bundle of money as "Assurance" that he'll not run with my money which was like 5x the amount I gave him. A few minutes later, he returned saying the owner of the dollar is requesting that I add more money that hes no longer selling at the agreed rate, so I refused and asked him to give me back my money which he brought out, counted and recounted b4 handing it back to me and I also returned his.
When I now got to one of the offices where I usually buy, the Mallam say my money no complete...that dude half my money...azzin he took half and gave me half. I wan mad!
...and nah company money, not mine. Oga na you gawk yourself joor, who does that. Why won't you follow him to whoever is selling the dollars and do a direct transaction. Sorry sha |

sunnp: Good day guru in the house , is app on waiting good for like 30min or 1hour or negotiations for waiting time is the best? this depends to a large extent on the trip to be taken after the wait. I won't wait 30mons to take a 3km trip thereafter. But 30km upwards may be worth the wait. You should sabi your onions |

slamstanlee: na juju.... u never see something.... Same way i picked 2 Lebanese, at allen ave, we stopped to change just 100 dollars. They agreed 36k. The aboki counted 35k and intentionally withheld 1k. The guy counted, then gave his girlfriend to count too, it was 35k. Now they told aboki to count, that it was 1k less. This time around i turned to watch as aboki counted and apologised, then brought 1k from his chest pocket to add. Going to fatai atere way, mushin. At oshodi under bridge.... the guy screemed ...... "this is 419, this is 419". What's it sir? Money is now 20k, they counted over and over again , 20k I was shocked. That last 1k was d money grabber from what i deduced.
I just told him to always change his money at eko hotels if he cant go to the bank. Sir if we go back we wont see him o, should we? Rider: no please continue.. Issa lie Abrakadabra still deh work? |

slamstanlee: yea... experience really counts indeed.... luck too is needed. Yesterday i woke up lazy again, began around 10am and still scoop 18k+... And for the past 2 months i never miss church, resume by 12 noon and still get 20k minimum before 11pm... May God bless our hustle jare... Please which network are u using? The past 3 weeks have been dull down here. Network depleted my activity score and drivers around me have been snatching request before mpi. Each time I boost to 95% village people come with network quams again. Missed 2 back to back this afternoon and Dow to 92 from 95. Chai |

crossfire47: Thanks a lot bro. I didn't even reason things this way in the first place. She called to negotiate a trip worth minimum of 5k yesterday (I was driving home then), agreed on fare, later she demanded I called her when I got home n was settled (this was like 11.50pm) got home n called back as agreed, that was when her intentions were made known. Babe Is a sex starved nympho n a 3some'ist, but as she cant afford a 3some, a one on one would fulfill her fantasies. darmilolah: Greeting from my observation bay.
I have been driving Honda Civic for almost 12months now and I do average of 250km everyday. Sitting inside Honda Civic day in day out. I think I can advise on the car. The car looks small from the outside but the inside is like that of Corolla.
Honda Civic is strong but the issue is that the car is low. You have to be careful on rough road to avoid dent by your side. It's juts like driving corolla sport. The low arm bushing is a major problem with the car. But I have resolved to knack bushing to the other arm since I tried it with one and it works.
Every other thing is perfect. No wiring wahala, no a/c issue since I bought the car. The A/C is mortuary standard. Which model year sir? |

odigiri1983: Please some one should help him answer the question and answer mine too below.I have a PGD and HND all in civil engineering.I have been practicing civil engineering [road construction throughout my career] for over 8 years now.Kindly advise me if I should tender assessment as a Civil engineering Technologist or Engineer or should tender separate assessments? Hello please gun for Civil Engineering professional and don't pray to be assessed as engineering technologist. It has become very tough to gain Invitation for engineering tech. And I believe its your experience after PGD that will likely be counted for you because of the skill level of the occupation. Better still, as @Bellong advised, try making your CDR to apply for Draftperson using HND qualifications. |

0ubenji: as regards the emboldened, if u often pay up 30k remittance 2-3days b4 the due day. Then, 35k a week wasn't bondage in any way for u strictly on the issue of disbursement. Statements like this are real suicidal, it can give the car owner 2nd tots on d weekly remittance. If u knw, you know. If you like think 20 time. Lemme see the car owner that will request 40k rental this period. |

kneo: It was one of those contracts you go into out of desperation. Owner said he will handle only engine and gear box repairs while I took care of every other repairs. For 1 year and 3 months, there was no engine issue neither was there any gear box issues. I remitted 35k/week. I was in bondage. Luckily, robbers rescued me from that contract. I am now on a 30k/week contract with a 2010 corolla. NO ASSURANCE DEPOSIT demanded from the car owner and we are having a wonderful relationship. I even pay him on Sundays at times before taxify and uber settles. There are still reasonable persons here on nairaland How? Them tif the or or them tif your partner? |

profjo: Am going through an agreement form now, and there re two parts there, 1. The owner is responsible for repair below 5k, any repair above 5k would be shared by both driver and owner. 2. Weekly remittance is due every monday(am aware uber pays on tuesday). Pls i need your advise on these two clauses. Thanks is the agreement for a rental or Hp contract? Regarding weekly remittance I prefer you negotiate for Wednesday or if possible Thursday. Monday is a No No. Because sometimes weekly deposit will even come on Wednesday. As per repair unless it's a HP agreement, that owner is a crook. It's actually suppose to be you whose take <5000 repair and owner fixes other major issues. Your owner wan try you see |
