Did Uber reduce your money.
If they did, just reply them about what happened and insist your MONEY is needed since you worked for it.
This worked for me, I don't know about you

What do you think, I have replied them since morning. Awaiting their reply, if they do not budge on the matter I will inform them to kuku take the fare for the whole trip and dash the rider. I haven't gone online today on uber.

Really? I have never had good experience with Uber when it comes to customer complaints.

In this case, not really with me. The only time Uber blocked me, it was done by one of their rep whom I carried I guess, but I didn't add 2+2 up then. I was still very new on Uber, the mumu request me on a monday, kept me waiting for close to 30mins after arrival, was going to VI (ojora colony- if you know). We had our issue when we got to Osborne interchange and there was heavy traffic on osborne-ikoyi while obalende-ikoyi was free visually and from the map. But he insisted we took osborne, na so I change am for the guy seriously, drawing his attention to the fact that he has wasted my productive morning enough and still wants to keep us in traffic when much faster alternative is available.

Them sha block me, rider complaint- customer service and car issues. I reach office I change am for the attendant sef join. She said, Oga you look too angry to drive on uber oh. Dem say make I go re-inspection for car come back. I just left them to their poo, taxify was sweeting then. After 2 months they unblocked me themselves, I just laffed.

You must get, put on your Uber too

Uber ke? Them deh vex me like this. The only surge trip I did yesterday, the rider complained about the route and they did a review to cut my money. When it's the rider that selected route herself and consented to every route I took. Maybe I for carry her pass 30mins slower route. Yesterday that third mainland bridge/ring road inwards marina was blocked to after 12noon sef .
From Osborne is turned toward carter bridge to connect marina UBA to get her to office early and yet she still complained to uber, all this rider sef be forming fake boss in your car. She sit down like CFO of UBA, 2.3x surge shake her akant she come deh vibrate to uber.

Example:

An applicant has nominated the occupation of Café or Restaurant Manager (ANZSCO Code 141111). She has obtained a Bachelor of Computer Applications in March 2009. From September 2009 to November 2015, she worked as a store manager for a retail shop. From December 2015 to present, she has been working as restaurant manager in her own restaurant.

For skills assessment purpose, the Bachelor of Computer Applications meets the educational level requirement of at least AQF Diploma level but the major field of study is not highly relevant to the nominated occupation. Therefore, two years of highly relevant employment are required to meet the skills assessment criteria for the nominated occupation.

The applicant’s work experience as store manager is assessed as not highly relevant to the nominated occupation. However, based on her current employment as restaurant manager which falls within the last five years, she has at least two years of highly relevant employment which meet the employment requirements for the nominated occupation.

In order to determine the "Date Deemed Skilled", the applicant’s skilled employment as restaurant manager (from December 2015 to November 2017) will be used to calculate the qualifying period. The two years of work experience required to meet the skills assessment criteria for the chosen occupation are not counted as skilled employment assessed positively for points test purposes. Only skilled employment after November 2017 will be eligible for the purpose of employment points test.

Very good analysis, but it's 3years highly relevant employment that they stated. So the poster don't get a wrong message that 2years will satisfy.

Last year I was given a BUSINESS 457 VISA SPONSORSHIP PRE-APPROVAL LETTER from an Australian company,to sponsor my migration once I get a job offer from an Australian company up til now I have not been able to secure an offer.I think work visa is good if you can get an offer but seems difficult to get.
Thus, you buttress my point. If it was Skilled migrant, you would have moved forward on way or another. Either looking to states for nomination or regional govt. Employment na serious luck or specialist things

Anybody noticing this taxify request response time doesn't stay up to 30secs again, it's more like 5-10 secs.
I have missed two trips because of this rubbish shocked shocked shocked
it never stayed up to 30secs at any point in time from inception if I'm not wrong. Their countdown is faster than sec though usually starts from 30

IMO, Uber investigates more, they've called me 2ce to hear my side of things during issues. Accident one, safety another. And they followed up to check I was doing alright or if there was anything they could help with.

I paid my own from my savings, in trust. But what did I get in return
A DEAD car.
Dead to the letter D

If you must pay security deposit, make sure that car is worth it. Ensure you have a tight agreement protecting your deposit.
Very important..

Most of these cars are dead.

We agree to diss- agree

Now I see your diss-agreement always, you've been a victim of dead car? Sorry Bro.

No mind them. I take my time to select car, after my very first rental experience, I no deh rush. Na so one wan gimme one 2010 corolla, deh find 40k deposit with shared maintenance, only to open car hood and see flexible wires flying from compressor to fuse box, whaaaaaat? I tell am 20k deposit, he still deh do shakara. Na so I waka pass. 2 days time another driver Don collect the car. I later collect a 2009 kia Rio which I used for 6months till it was sold.

No matter how much u make as a driver, u can’t dispute d fact that the job is tiring. There are days u feel lazy and wanna just rest. There are days u set out to work but request will hardly come your way, the next thing that will be on your mind is to just go home. There are days ur emotions will set in and you will be thinking how long am I going to continue as a driver, despite my bsc and msc, when will I become rich too, no be one person born all these small boys sitting for my owners corner? grin. That alone is a mood killer.

All these makes an owner driver the winner. So I will say the business is good if u own ur car. I pray for every driver on rental to get their redemption soon. May you never use ur blood to pay debts. Amen
AMEN

seriously thinking of 489, have waited close to two months for 189 and 190
points @ 65 and 70(SN) Civil Engineer
english points superior 90 90 90 90 claimed...

any advice on best region to nominate

For 189, only God knows when points will drop. But I'm positive your 190 for NSW will drop soon. Hang on 70points is good for Civil as it's non prorata. Secondly, if u have up to 4-5yrs u can shoot at Victoria too.

Stay strong mate.

Age=30 points
Experience=10 point

Oh my bad ...it is 55 sir...
What nxt sir ...

Hello, on the bolded hope you have over 5yrs verifiable employment. So let's put you English at 10points minimum you can still meet up 65points. You have a good chance at 190 in either NSW or Victoria and awesome chance for any sponsoring region.

Next step is to take English test and know exactly where you stand. It is also required to enable you carry out the assessment with EA.

Cheers

Pls, I want to confirm if DIBP do physical inspection to companies in Nigeria.
And what are the steps they take to verify your employment in Nigeria?
How do you cover things up if you don't want your big boss to know you are planning to leave?

We have heard a case where in DIBP arranged for a physical inspection to an applicants place of work. So it can't be ruled out if they are suspecting foul play.

But some of their major steps in verifying employment is by official email, looking up your company website or profile on popular professional websites. I believe calling the official company telephone line might also be.

Maybe calling the number of the company HR, or your direct manager depending on the sort of document you submitted.

Personally, I want to believe your company not having a website or not being visible on world wide Web is what instigates them to dig further in most cases. And if digging is persistent you might not be able to avoid the ish getting to the knowledge of your "big boss"
