Emekayoung:

It happened to me 3 weeks ago along that same Allen in ikeja. I went to change 100 dollars. We agreed on 35k,I counted,my friend also counted. After that we left, getting to city mall Ikeja, something told me to count that money again,to my utmost surprise, the money was 19k,so 16k vanished just like that. I almost lost control on steering on driving to my house because I budgeted that money for some family issues. I later drove back to that same spot and couldn't find the animal that changed the money. I asked questions and people called me fool and asked me why I transacted with those thieves in the first place, that every body knows they are criminals. I learnt a serious lesson never to forget in my life that day.

I guess transfer is the way to go when receiving cash. How them go do the abrakadabra make we see, but in case of naira to dollar u have to use your inner eye.

I carried one rider on Friday, going to intl airport. The guy kept counting his supposed 450$ over and over again, I asked is anything the problem, he said "this guy Don short me 100$ sha". And I'm like, didn't he count before leaving? Why is he counting now?

To me, it appeared like he was having the complete money but he kept counting only 350$, he could not see the last 100$ bill. I no kuku talk, I just flashed back to this discussion. Like them Don withdraw the bill but he never reach the grabber pocket. I deh see money weh owner no see. I get inner eyes. grin grin grin

So we have been off radar to re-think certain assumptions ...

1. ROI

2. Driver expectations

3. Present State of E-hailing

4. Vehicle Depreciation

we believe for effective deployment, all this have to be taken into consideration as every factor works hand-in-hand.

so we thought of a new model that takes into consideration a gradual decrease from start to finish (1year plan) for new investors to e-hailing ...

1. ROI

Your ROI as we all know is based over a duration and takes into consideration repairs/maintenance cost with present state of e-hailing and depreciation affecting ROI.

We are sampling a plan that seeks to leverage on factors that can affect ur ROI over a year period ... we came up with this

First 3months - weekly rental 35k - 140k/month - 420k/ 3months

Next 3months - 30k/weekly - 120k/month - 360k/ 3months

Next 3months - 28k/weekly - 112k/monthly - 336k/3months

final 3months - 25k/weekly - 100k/monthly - 300k/3months

total 1.416,000.

investment budget 1.5m
maintenance cost excluded

2. Driver

Every driver believe they are the soul of the bizness, but a soul that doesn't communicate well with the other parts of the body is dead. Drivers need not be alone drivers but also thinkers, solution providers .... and just drive and deliver ur target.

Drivers have to be part of the maintenance of the biz tool (the car), this i have said over and over ..

Drivers need to be proactive

3. Present state of e-hailing

The present state of the business isn't wonderful ... it's just another means to an end.. we drive or have vehicles onboard that cater for bills upon bills. The downward pricing has necessitated the need for reviews in weekly delivery.

4. Depreciation

The value put on your vehicle will decrease over a duration with constant usage on e-hailing. With a good reasonable driver, say within 1year the value will drop by an estimated 25% .. with the fast n furious type of drivers value will drop by 40% or more.

So if value drops, on what value are u looking or calculating your ROI on?

Our sample model which we currently resting works with actual cost vs Depreciation Cost...

We will be back ...time out

Slamstanlee, is it true? The hypothesis?

You have a shot at the skilled migration program with your area of discipline. You are eligible to apply for either of 189, 190, or 489 visas depending on the amount of point you can muster from Age, English test, employment/experience, degree certificate/ qualifications. Please visit the first page of this thread to understand how the point and calculations work. When you have an idea of the total points you can attain, then directions will be easier.

Would the order be cancelled or that the excess Balance is moved to customer's account against her next trip.
Taxify would cancel it automatically once u select card payment and they are unable to charge the card once u made the request. Those are trips u see u accepted but cancels after some seconds, and when u check u see error.

Uber would allow the client embark on the journey and apply debit towards next ride.

Hi guys!

Quick questions
1) Can someone get work permit easier than PR? And does it involve skill assessment?
2) After getting PR based on an occupation, can someone change career path after landing in AU?

1) i wouldn't say work visas are easier than goin for PR direct, rather I think it's harder except you have an exceptionally required skill demanded for filling certain positions in the country. Getting employment is the first hurdle which will carry your nomination/sponsorship.

2) the way I understand it, u can get assessed as an engineer and enter the country with same occupation, then end up practicing as a dentist grin. Nobody will hold you. It's the discretion of the employer that matters in gaining employment.

Please I have question, I have a promo code given to me by taxify as a refund from a previous trip.

Anyway, my question is this, I don't have any cash in the account, but I want to go ahead and use my promo code after selecting card payment of course. Will taxify allow the order to go through? (Cos I'm wondering if there's a way they detect if an account has money or not.

2. What will happen if my trip fare is more than the promo code? Can I simply give cash to the driver for the extra payment (note that I selected card, but no money there.)

(Although, I'm certain my fare cannot exceed the promo code, as its a short distance), just want to know what happens if it exceeds.

Thanks guys, for ur response in advance.

Your order would most likely be cancelled once taxify is unable to charge your card upon sending your request. Even if you're using the promo code, you're expected to have a balance that can cover for the estimate of your intended trip. That card will end up getting blocked o

Hello Everyone. Thanks to Oga Bellong who created this thread. You are forever blessed Sir. To others who have helped selflessly and who are still actively contributing, thanks too.

On the 28th of March,2018 i got a negative assessment from AIQS. I had given up.I was advised by my case officer to appeal. On this thread i got in-touch with @qstomiwa and he guided me through my appeal process. He did this selflessly. He went through all my appeal documents and repackaged them. God bless you Tomiwa.

I followed Tomiwa's advice and recommendations from the assessors of my first application strictly and appealed. I got a positive assessment on 9th of August, 2018. My UniUyo BSC Quantity Surveying Degree that was previously not recognised because UniUyo was not recognised by CEP online was now recognized. My Unilag Masters Degree was recognized. My Work experience was recognised from when i got my BSC. QS Degree. Tomiwa was the brain behind the repackaging.

Thanks to @qstomiwa once again and to everyone helping in all ways.

Congratulations. You're an overcomer

I pray the rest of the journey be smooth

Congrats on the positive assessment. 70% completion rate. What's your age point? English test? How much points in total. Will it fetch you ITA easy?

In months time you can claim 15points for experience, so if you don't have the suitable English score now, aim forrit within this time frame.

Thank you Brotherly. Please, I have an HND and a marketer. What are my chances of getting this visa under the skilled programme? And if I qualify, what step should be my first? Thank you.
I think someone was advised about marketing specialist sometime back. But most marketing occupation are skill level 1 occupation and you say you have HND, plus they are mostly not available on 189 but on 489 and 190. I really don't know which advise to give.

Do you by chance have any other certificate? Say PG
