dru23: So basically what you telling me is that a person that drives his own car on uber / taxify can not take home 100k a week after expenses etc ... Honestly you beginning to sound like the driver that owe me over 70k ..jokes apart o Yes he cannot. Week in week out. Taxify giving drivers health insurance for doing 200 trips a month knows what the implication is to achieve such. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by jayooh: 4:13pm On Jul 14, 2018 |
dru23: My guy said it is possible to take home 100k a week ,if you own the car obviously... Yes you can make 100k net(after commission) weekly with very hardwork and long hours. But, how sustainable is it? Doing it week in week out is a mirage. Either it tells on your health or your standard of lifestyle. Also, after making the 100; fuel, tickets/tolls, car wash must have had their share. Say 30%. So let's all be realistic and stop painting this 100k picture over and over |

afosahid: Wow! Quite interesting. Congratulations. I have read quite a lot about people getting Natural Justice Letter lately and the culprit is usually employment verification.
One needs to ensure HR is on the same page with the details you provide in your application! I believe it only when one is claiming points for employment they tend to verify the employment(s) right? |

brogxy: No. wait for 300 secs O' contrary, stop being a learner. That was then, this is now. As soon as the waiting time turn red at 180secs you cancel that ride, it doesn't affect your activity score. That tip of the week was for people like yourself. Cheers |

gbengaolu360: Hello house, I have a positive assessment from EA for 7 years work experience and I thought I could do my PTE and move on. But I hardly have time to practice and now I have 8 years with few months doing the same job. How can I apply to EA to change my 7 years to 8 years of experience ?? No need to apply for any reassessment, all you need do is show proof to DIBP you're still in the same employment/role as at the time of lodging your visa application. EA as already done theirs by assessing the employment to be relevant and related to your nominated occupation. |

oluwaseunla: One of my drivers came in yesterday. She complained of intermittent loss of power. Loss of power is so serious that car goes off and at some point has to be pushed of the road. On test drive, it was realised the fuel pump was misbehaving. She was given a new fuel pump and sent on her way.
This morning, oracle was in the mood to conduct an autopsy. He requested for the old fuel pump. I wasn't paying attention until I saw the amount of water coming out of the pump. A little mixture of mud, water and fuel.
Watch where you buy your fuel from. Rainy season and station with bad underground tanks. Hoe man go sabi all this kind stations. Her pump na die hard sef. Some will just give up the ghost and never resurrect to die again. |

Youngadvocate: Hello fellows.
Please, I need some real help. I want to get out of this country asap....i mean, before the end of the year. My destination, of course, is either Australia or New Zealand.
I intend to settle in any of the two countries and proceed to masters when I earn enough from work.
Right now, I don't have enough money to go through school application (I'm a 2.1 graduate, though). I'm trying to find a way into the country through job. However, I don't know how to go about it.
Please, who can guide me on the surest way to land VISA into Australia especially? Please, help me out.
I checked out the website of Australia's Department of Home Affairs and plethora of information there got me confused the more.
Fellow Nairalanders, I need your help. I would appreciate though if you can add me up on WhatsApp and guide me through. (09054762972) is my number.
Thanks!!!! Visit https://www.nairaland.com/4478747/diy-guide-australian-permanent-resident and many will be more than happy to help you with succinct information |

gaphils: Plz wht do I mean by "pro rata" that some occupation are on pro rata n plz tell us all others that on pro rata plz. Tnks Pro rata implies that invitation are issued bi-weekly at equal numbers such that the available spaces in such occupations don't run out withing 2-3 month of starting a new immigration year. That aside, this occupations have a huge amount of applicants that it becomes impossible to satisfy them, and thus, applicants with higher skill based points are invited first notwithstanding when lower point Applicants entered the pool. These occupations are hot cakes (such as: Mechanical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Accountants, ICT professionals etc.) They have even made the average points for all occupations seeing invitation these days go higher at a whooping 75points, and Department of Home Affairs has now increased the minimum point for invitation to 65 this year from 60 last year. Hopefully when invitation rounds resume again this year at higher numbers being invited 70 pointers will have a shot too. |
