Sir Bellong, I think u commented on a 186 visa inquiry earlier so I like to ask your opinion.
Is it true one can only express interest for 186/187 visa after you have sourced for employment privately, or you can tick these sections to make your EOI available to potential employers just in case?.

Because I understand it to be the latter and not the former...

Then if one has a volunteer position experience but cannot be verified by means of monthly salary; pension; or PAYE. How can he go about it. Only intermittent transfers or irregular sum from employers account to mine.

Sir Jayooh you are not eligible for 186, you must be nominated by an employer and same goes for 187 (Regional employer)

But I think the EOI is for expressing your interest so that I qualified employers can see your profile, contact you and decide whether to nominate you or not. Or did I get it all wrong.

Someone mentioned something about an employer contacting them earlier in the thread if I can remember.

I tried to submit EOI for 186 and 187 under engineering technologist, is it viable. The 186 keeps saying "client does not have enough years of experience for nominated occupation". I have checked tirelessly to obtain the years of experience requirement under eligibility of the subclass but can't find it.
Any ideas people?
Do I just click the seek exemption button? Currently have 1yr11months verifiable experience related to occupation. Other 1yr 5months not verif able.

Some will even get rated low for insisting not to damage partners car like going into floods for example, or insisting on getting your complete fare from dubious riders...riders feel rating is their power...
I carried one recently, telling me taxify is too expensive, how can it be 1400 from akoka-alausa. Uber is better, bla bla; after paying she dazh me 1 star, me already at a struggling 4.48. Then she now began to firm did u attend so so secondary school. Your name is familiar, I am bla bla. On top she still carry mind dash me 1 star oh, still calling me later to fams, I no even deh mind her.

Now let me not beat about the bush too much cos God has been too Good!

Timeline:

1st IELTS attempt;---June 24th LSRW 8,7,7.5 and 6.5( needed superior scores so i tried again)

2nd IELTS attempt;---August 3rd LSRW 8.5,7.5,9 and 7 (still needed superior scores badly to be sure..)

1st skill assessment - sometime in July--negative

(20 points mi ti pe ..I updated my EOI sharply, withdrew the 190 for Vic and the seperate EOI for Tasmania(dont ask me why i had up to 3 EOI cos the hustle was real)...anyway i left NSW cos it was too busy at work for me, will do that later.

Same 8th Nov---went for lunch got back and there was my ITA sitting nicely in my email

Had to sit still for a minute cos my heart was about bursting through my chest.hahaha...i expected it soon but whaaat!....less than 24hrs?...it just has to be God

I want to salute @bellong for starting this thread...its been informative,insightful,funny...hahahaha....@alphadoor and zoew...una too much in a too much way o...they encouraged me so much..make una chop laptop kiss

The real journey begins...

I feel one can try using those titles other than civil/structural engineer where requirements can be met.

I'm not sure the job title engineering technologist exists anywhere in the Australian job market. Searched the whole of Australia n found just 3 vacancies with the actual title "engineering technologist-2 in NSW; 1 in VIC."

It's a conundrum . All those civil works supervisor titles and Co. do not have an occupation code on the migration list now. I was thinking it could fly

I was thinking one can easily attach some occupation vacancies that require technical abilities not classifies as professional engineers such as construction supervisor/civil work supervisor /site supervisor for Civil engineering technologist for Tasmania 489 nomination. But going through Tasmania page tonight a stumbled upon these paragraphs where it seems they actually expect you to show employment with exact same title as nominated occupation.
In occupations with broad areas of specialisation I feel this won't work. Any ideas?

See don't mind that prince of persia that calls himself my assessor, after 21 days of no communication, I called they said he wasn't available, I sent mail he now replied with "Should you consider Drafting specialist outcome, please supply the relevant career episodes. Currently, the engineering technologist is the best outcome."

They just waisted precious time, time that could have been used to prepare the CDR,

Please anyone who assessed draft person with EA, furnish me with your CDR let me go through.

After all, the mumu keeps saying "being developed as an engineering associate" now he is asking for episode again. I thought he meant my episodes already depicts engineering associate levels, I don't just understand these people.
