entparrot: GAZZUZZ train abroad? Oh no, he is train in Aba
I can't believe he is train abroad and behave this way.
People who train abroad will explain in details to you, not when he has an idea, kept mute with the options, but only direct u to the option of spending naira b4 giving u any answer. That's Aba trick...
Just like when u go to a good doctor, and your body is hot, he will tell you is either malaria or typhoid or this or that, but a proper test will tell you what is wrong.
Not just throw you straight to test, with no explanation or anything. Be wary of a doctor who is quick to say you have malaria or typhoid just because u claimed to Have temperature. |

Jesona: Ok, that is the normal requirement i have always known of NSW, unlike states like TAS, SA etc, that require entirely different and extra requirement for nomination. I have a B.Eng (Petroleum). Since your degree certificate is Pet Eng. you can't be sure if EA will be willing to assess it as Chem. Eng. cause those guys are something else now. Maybe ET |

wapu: In my opinion you'll get Canada PR easier and faster.
But if it's Australia you need, your best bet is to have band 8 accross board. That's 20points for English.
Hopefully you'll get 8+ in experience after assessment, that's 15points.
For education, if its 4years in tier 1 uni or 5 years in tier 2 that's 15
Your total points will be 75 then you have a very good chance of getting ITA with the current trend. Why do you say Canada will be easier and faster for this profile? |

Jesona: Bro, your thoughts are quite the bitter truth. Do you think NSW has got any likely requirement like TAS? i'm not aware of. I don't know if there would be any downside preparing a chemical Engineer CDR basically on undergraduate studies, without relevant work experience because i will like to package it very carefully to avoid possibly getting an ET outcome which is the worst case scenario at the instance. I think the requirement for NSW will be to simply meet the base points for which they will be inviting candidates in your field which will be 70-75points. Is your BSC in chemical engineering? |

prodigyx1: My anger right now can't be fully understood.
This guy called Ogunvic (Ogunleye Kayode) is the most foolishly proud, arrogant and irresponsible person I have ever met.
I'LL TRY TO EXPLAIN IN DETAILS
Towards the end of last year December I was fortunate to meet the Mech Specialist Mr Gazzuzz who sold me a faultless Tokunbo Toyota Corolla. After negotiations and all documents handed over I decided to meet Ogunvic and try out his over exaggerated Fleet Management.
We scheduled a couple of meetings and a few calls and in all he was very boastful about the system he runs and kept guaranteeing its 'foolproof'. Here's a summary of his terms and conditions:
Partner to handle all maintenance and mechanical faults. Repairs to be handled by the insurance company will be treated "DULY". FleetXpert agrees to "Notify" partner of any mechanical problems with the vehicle. Partner provides "N30, 000 worth of Fuel + Total Card" Partner to provide driver with A Brand New Phone Spectranet 4G Modem Car Charger
In the event of unfortunate events Fleetexpert pays Partner 60% of whatever driver makes after fuel cost deduction "before the unfortunate event".
...
On Monday 8th he informed me he got a driver (Emmanuel Offikwu) staying at Agege and he's concluding discussions. So with hope work will start. According to the driver he started work on Thursday even though tracker shows lekki movements Wednesday and overnight. I found out later from Driver that the day he collected the car he took it to a mechanic to fix the silencer cuz it was damaged by Ogunvic and he kept it from me (remember the agreement signed). Now I kept silent.
By Tuesday 16th I called Ogunvic Kayode and asked for an update on my pay. He said driver made around 57k and he would make calculations and give me a breakdown. I said ok and waited. 2 days later nothing sent. I called and he said busy and I should remember I owed him. I still said no problem let me just know the breakdown so I know whats left or not. But by weekend kayode still didn't send anything.
Now according to kayode, driver remits monday evenings, he makes calculations and sends money to partners on Tuesdays. So by Tuesday I was hopeful I'll get a call this time. ... That's the current situation and he's here still advertising for more cars to collect and damage while ripping off partners and favoring drivers.
Note I have call records on the Wednesday and yesterday Friday between kayode and I. I have tried attaching but doesn't seem to load. What an ordeal Sorry about your pains. One of those experiences. Be strong!!! |

Jesona: @ Jayooh thanks for your input bro. I can tell you that the 20 points in English na must oo, i have no option than to scale up. It is quite worrisome with the situation regarding ET. Just thinking what other related occupation one can nominate between chemical or mining Engineering and prepare a cdr based on that; which shouldn't be a big deal to me. I am not sure how EA go see am. Abeg wetin you think and all the Generals in the house? Abeg make una put mouth for this matter Mining and petroleum engineers don't even qualify for anything these days. So your best beto is still ET, if you can make 20points in English, ITA can still come your way via NSW 190 or TAS 190/489 of you meet their requirements. |

Jesona: My E-fam, so after much perusing, my profile is thus; Age - 30 points English- 20 points hopefully B.Eng (Petroleum)- 15 points
Giving the non availabiliy of Petroleum Engineering in any of the lists, i am left with Engineering Technologist option. Veterans and all the generals in the house.... pls what is your advise, should i take the plunge on ET, knownig the situation with that option at the moment? E go quick bring ITA this FY?
My total points now stands at 65 plus possibly any state nomination, that will put me at 70 points. Abeg una help me reason the matter.
Cc: Bellong, Jukeblam, Ifexcso, Chidike, Iceberg, Zanyzara, Jayooh and the general house. Get your 20points in English first then we can move forward from there. Knowing that even at 65+5 points for state nomination you might have to wait a great deal to get nominated. ET seems at a great disadvantage these days. It was a more palatable outcome in 2015/16 |

It's sad to read how investors and driver partners on here are already wishing the govt. transportation plan to be a failure, simply because we're earning from E-hailing or whatever. Why can't people be positive in their thinking? Why must it fail? Nigeria na we own, our population is multiplying by the day, and some people think uber/taxi will suffice for citizens day to day movement? JOKERS While some might not be able to afford, they still need to get to point B from point A. Let's stop the selfish thinking. Let's pray for the government to get it right. Developed nations have gotten public transport system right, but uber/taxify still exist in their climes. Nigeria must move forward----> 2020 is here already Where are our MDGs? |
