First of all the battery is just 3000mah which in my opinion is nonsense. Secondly it is jumia global which has to be shipped from abroad. Sometimes it takes over a month for delivery, if jumia didn't decide to cancel the order. Another thing is the brand itself. The camera is just mere 12 mega pixel.

My opinion is the phone is ugly and overpriced. It would have been a good phone 3 years ago.

I agree with most things you have said but don't say it is a mere 12mp camera. Interms of Camera, HTC is One of the best. I have used HTC ONE MINI and it's 4mp camera beats most phones with 13mp or higher.
Even iPhone 12pro max is 12mp and the camera quality is unrivalled. Better than other brands claiming 48mp and 100mp etc.

HTC phones have been phased out. Reason why it is cheap.

They make good phones but their battery is wack and the phones overheat.

I dislike Tecno phones after my horrible experience with K7 ( first spark). The battery life was terrible. I sold it after just 2 weeks of usage. I prefer infinix.

nothing might be wrong with your phone, the thing is that many a time, beyond peoples believes Transsion devices tend to last way more than people know, when i was using my Camon 12 air with 4000 mah battery, i could charge it just once and use it for the whole day

You are right. I used my hot 5 for almost 3yrs before giving it out and the battery was still Solid and no fault from the phone at all.
I am not a game or camera or multitasking freak, what I cherish most is battery life.

Don't mind those guys. I doubt if they have ever used an infinix phone before. When I was using hot 5 with just 4000mah battery, I was getting an average of 12hrs SOT on heavy usage. Now imagine how long their 5000mah and 6000mah device will last.

Forget that thing. Phones like Oukitel with 10000mah battery will do 20hrs and more.

xiaomi phones alway uses 1080p resolution, that why their battery no too dey last like tecno and infinix phones that uses 720p resolutions

But this 9A uses a 720P resolution and the battery is still trash.

I don't know what you are talking about regarding account.

But 10hrs is not impressive for a 5000mah device. If you know those using infinix with 5000mah battery, ask them and you will be shocked at the crazy long SOT they are getting.

I get 10hrs on the average. But a 5000mah device should do better than this. I said this because I have used Infinix hot5 before with 4000mah battery and I usually get an average of 12Hrs + of continuous heavy usage.

The funny thing is that I am currently using it too. I wanted to buy hot 8 but got swayed by the comments of Xiaomi fan boys here and I decided to give Xiaomi a try. This is my first shot at Xiaomi and I am regretting it.

I am not really a fan of multitasking and heavy gaming but I browse alot so I want a phone with a battery that can last as long as possible but this 9A is a huge disappointment. I charged it to 100% around 4am this morning and now it is already down to 46%.

It also lags and hangs like you said. Infact I cannot run two apps successfully without One of them restarting in the background. But the most disappointing part is the battery.

there's no way the screen can be on 24/7 but if it's fully charged, I can use it for like 2 days, I last charged it yesterday morning, still having 58 percent left, and this 58 percent can last me till tomorrow.... If it's remaining just 2 percent, I can still browse close to 2 hours..

That's amazing. Can I see your current SOT ? Goto battery usage stats and click on screen usage.

My phone is 4000mAh. Most times, I charge it at night. I disconnect when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I use till the next night.
Sometimes, I have to give it a little charge in the afternoon.
You should know that I'm glued to my phone, playing music almost throughout work hours, and games sometimes in the evening.
I don't know how many hours, precisely, but this is my routine

Nah, no one can stay glued to his/her phone for straight 10hrs. But the SOT statistics is accumulative. For example if you use 1hr, and drop your phone, then comeback to it after 3hrs, the SOT will continue the reading from 1hr. So in total, I get 10hrs.

I am currently using Redmi9A and I get an average of 10hrs SOT. But I feel a 5000mah device should do better than this. I have used Infinix hot5 before with 4000mah and I normally get an average of 12hrs SOT.

Before opting for 9A, my intention was to get hot 8 after the good experience I had with the hot5 battery and I believed hot8 will do better with its bigger battery. But after reading so much review about Xiaomi from guys here, I decided to give 9A a try. But right now I am not comfortable with the battery performance.

Please guys using infinix or other brands with 5000mah battery, how many hours of continuous screen ON time do you get?
