those na phone abeg, my love for Sony Ericsson not until the company separated so I switched to Sony Xperia..... Those company try abeg.

The two most popular brands then were Ericsson and Nokia but Ericsson was much more advanced interms of graphics and other functions, the only downside of Ericsson was their poor battery. I also hated thier connection port which gets slack easily.

I bought the W810, the battery life was terrible! It couldn't last a whole day on a full charge even without pressing it. I could literally exhaust the full charge under 1hr with light to medium usage. The connection port also frustrated me. I don't know why Ericsson will use such a terrible method for connecting things with the phone.

While Nigerians are so in love with the currently trending phones, their are times when most Nigerians feel something about the previously reigning phones. I could remember there was a time, the year 2016 precisely; Nokia 3310, 1100, 1600 and 3220 were again, becoming common in the hands of Nigerians especially in Lagos, Ilorin, Ibadan and Osogbo - at least, those were the cities I was frequent then.

It's as if the thoughts of these phones which are now seemingly forgotten still clings in the minds of Nigerians such that, at the slightest opportunities, whenever these phones are available; they'll still buy it.

The Nokia 5130 was a beauty to behold.

I so much loved the phone back then that I was always dreaming and fantasising about it. There's something so unique about the aesthetic that I cannot explain.

Having sold over 65millon units, this phone is among the best selling mobile phones in history.

I am still interested in buying this phone if I see it again today.

You are correct to a large extent. I have studied the female genda for years and always find this trait amongst them regardless of their age. They are just too petty. One thing I like the Muslims for is that they realise this and therefore are very strict with their women.

Talking about being slut-shamed, I believe you are referring to the Nigerian/African society at large. Even if we go to the western world where women are NOT castigated for expressing their sexual desires, we still find that women don't like sex as much as men. Biologically, the libido of women is lower than that of men. Nature has put the female specie in a position to regulate sex, thus control population.

That's how about 95% of women behave. Even if they have millions in their account, they will still be looking for men to leech. You can dump her but don't expect to find a woman that is 100% selfless. Infact, a vast majority of them don't cross the 50% mark.

I'm also thinking of getting one of these old Classic Nokia phones but the problem is they are almost useless these days. I watched a review of the N9 and what it can still do in 2021, and saw that you can only use it to play music and do Google search with other basic functions like calling and text messaging. Most of its functions are no longer supported.

It is most likely to fail. I know he has a lot of fan base but switching between apps just because of One individual is what most people would not like to do. Even after creating another account on the same Instagram, you can see he couldn't recover all the over 2M fans he had initially. Now talk of creating another app or social media platform entirely for people to register. It will be boring and can never be as diverse as Instagram or you think his followers use Instagram solely because of the contents he posts?

Kwara State Government has announced plans to establish a multi-billion naira Cancer treatment Centre to be situated at the Ilorin General Hospital.

Speaking at a virtual cabinet meeting Friday evening, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq said the N2.5bn recently donated to the state by the Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative (ASR Africa) will form a huge chunk of the funding for the modern facility.

The Governor said the cancer centre -- along with the 12-bed intensive care unit, the modern dental and eye care facilities recently added to the general hospital -- is a part of the huge investments to convert the General Hospital to a research facility (teaching hospital) for the take off of the medical college of the Kwara State University.

He said it would also reduce huge financial resources committed to medical tourism in the treatment of cancer by Nigerians, including patients from Kwara State.

The centre will serve as timely interventions for treatment of cancer for indigenes of the state and neighbouring states such as Niger, Kogi, Oyo and Osun with all the potentials to be the best cancer treatment Centre in the entire North Central, he added.

The Governor reiterated government's commitment to put in place world-class mobile dental and eye clinics which will move from place to place for treatment of affected patients in all parts of the state.

Governor AbdulRazaq also said funding for the introduction of telemedicine may be included in next year's budget.

The telemedicine innovation, which will provide medical interventions including referral services, targets citizens of the state in remote rural areas.

The Council also emphasised Government's commitment to security of lives and property, and urged the entire citizenry to treat security matter as an issue that demands full support of all members of the society.

No need for a long story, I got married 2 yrs ago, during our friendship I mean courtship it was very sweet and lovely, we got married 2 yrs ago and I have 1 kid.

The problem I have is that, the girl's family come to greet almost every time and when they come they eat like elephant, anything eatable they eat it, they don't use eyes to see bread tea or butter in my room, they will finish it within a day, I will end up spending a lot during the time, when I noticed that it becomes offen i started telling my wife that I am broke, I don't have money. Before now I was it okay, we are like a family, now i just realized that it is making me not think straight within a week oil and cooking things we bought will just finished the cartoon of indomitable that last the 2 of us before 1 month or month plus will just finish within 4 days of thier stay, some time 3 of her family will come once and another set will come again, my wife is the first daughter, the poor parents gave birth to 9 kids all in the name of looking for a boy, so she said although the 2 boys are number 7 and 9 position, her parents should be around man 60s and the woman 45yrs old. so now I am tired of the marriage, I don't know how to talk to my wife about it, that I don't like how thier family do come offend since we got married, my families has never come to sleep over in my place for a night talkless of spending holiday in my place my parents gave birth to only 3 of us 2 boys 1 girl.

Now i am just tired I can't be responsible for someone else burden why give birth to many kids and unable to train them, i plan to have only 2 or 3 kids only, and her family want to make me be like thier father sitting at home doing nothing depending on pension for survival, i have realized that I can't achieve what i should have achieved if i continue life this way.

Before our marriage, we agreed no family members is coming to stay with us, the issue now is they don't stay but come to eat and go, it's a big cheating to me I am tired for real, even if I say I don't have money and she use her own. The money should have be able to do other important thing . She spending is also affecting me a lot, we should have been able to buy land or car or live well, not feeding battalion. I am tired please I need advice on what to do.

This is a very sensitive issue, I will advice you to be very patient with them. Things cannot continue like that, one day they will stop coming or reduce the frequency drastically. If you are fed up, then I will advice you reduce the quantity and quality of foodstuff you stock in your house so that you can save and whenever they are not around you can eat some quality food or you can always eat quality stuffs outside when ever you feel like.

Yeah, I saw that in their game play, but Chelsea's defence were upto the task. Penetrating Chelsea's defence is an herculean task and he should have coached his boys to shoot from outside the box. He has plenty players with good shot accuracy outside the box but they never tried it, all they wanted to do was get into the box.
