Keep calling until you get the waybill number. Maybe wait an hour or so before calling again

Congrats finally!! My friend is still going back and forth with them, they sent that email with courier request and he replied to it with everything they asked for . Later today, they sent a message saying his passport wasn’t in the office and we had to call severally to have them physically verify, till now they haven’t sent a confirmation email. I am just tired .

I have a feeling the passport is at the VAC, because the people that got stamped after yours have received updates since last week. Your tracking number has either changed or is no longer being updated .
Maybe when you call them tomorrow, ask if it’s possible for the tracking to not be updated or to change and explain your situation..

Hmmmn . My friend is in the same situation. I hope VFS sends a notification when the passport gets to them by Monday at the latest. We were supposed to travel together upper week but now I am not even sure of anything.

My counterfoil was dated on Monday but got the mails on Tuesday. Didnt receive the fourth mail, tracker says in process at IRCC and even VFS told me this morning that it was already in transit from IRCC. What to do mahnnn?

I really hope not. Also, when you get any updates from VFS about your passport return, please let us know. My friend has the same timeline as you and some other people on this forum. He already received the LOI and counterfoil but no update from VFS since the last update about sending the passport to the visa office...

Finally VFS gave me my UPS tracking number

It is the LOI, my friend received two emails and a correspondence letter similar to mine too

I dont know if it's LOI o but a correspondence letter has dropped and i got two mails from do not reply. Nothing from VFS.

I called them today, twice. The lady that picked up said she didn’t have that information and that the person to give that information was not around and I should call back. It was just a waste of my airtime

I have. They are not reachable on any medium. Even email, they won't reply. How can you be with my passport and you can't tell me what's really going on?

I tried chatting with them earlier and the agent didn't say anything.

It might just be Lagos visa office. The other person submitted to Abuja

They themselves gave us 30 days to submit. It's been 27 days and not even a hint of passport processing. People with whom we submitted have already paid for passport return. Why are they shoving our passports away when they themselves asked for it? Why squash our plans Why are they so bent on frustrating us? They re so so so trying our patience. Are they the only immigration agency in this world? These people keep spewing their unprofessionalism with their erratic operations and stupid random treatment of applications. Total nonsense!!!

Same issue with my friend. Looks like some of the passports have been pushed behind or something. He already sent an email to the high commission too but no response. Now, I’m worried.

Me I submitted on the 3rd and got last emails on the 16th too o. I know sum1 who got those 2 on the 18th and got the fourth this morning.

When you get an update on your passport, please let me know. My friend has the same timeline as you. He also submitted his passport since 4th of November and received last email on the 16th.

I just got this “Your application, tracking ID xxxxxx has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 11/25/2020 8:50:53 AM”. I dispatched my passport to VFS Lagos on 9th of Nov and it was received by the legend, Mr Festus on 10th Nov.

What does that message mean? Because it’s amazing IRCC is just receiving it

Mine was received by Festus when sent originally on the 3rd of November.
I really need to get my passport back ASAP, it's just annoying that i live in lagos and still have to pay almost 13000 naira for delivery, it's ridiculous.

Consent form

Hello everyone, please who has a copy of the consent form and email for retrieving passports. My passport was received by Lagos VFS since yesterday morning and I haven’t gotten any message from them yet. I heard they only dispatch on mondays and Wednesdays, which means I may have to wait again for another week �

For those that have successfully sent their passport to CVAC, did you receive any email or confirmation from the Visa Application Center that they have received it successfully??

Once you get to Ajah under bridge or the nearest busstop to the expressway, take a straight bus going to lekki . There will be buses going to lekki phase one or jakande. Enter either one, if you enter the one going straight to lekki, stop at 3rd roundabout also called ‘Ikate ’, it is a short journey after you pass the mall (Circle Mall/Shoprite). So from circle mall, you can start telling the conductor you want to stop at ikate. At ikate, just walk down, the VFS is at the left side of that freedom way road. If you stop at jakande, you have to take another bus to ikate. Also, ikate has two entrances, you are going to stop at the second one (closest to lekki phase 1). I hope this helps

Nawa. I already submitted mine without all these their 2 copies and long story. Why is VFS so disorganized? They should make the information readily available and very clear. They should stop turning people up and down.

I submitted:
The receipt gotten during biometrics with the copy of stamped data page that was stapled to it.

Consent form

Letter asking to submit passport

International passport

I’ll give the house any other update that comes up.

My biometrics was completed in Lagos but Lagos VAC is still closed and I am now considering sending to Abuja and paying the necessary fees.

For passport submission, please check the VFS global link for nigeria , under the apply for visa , then under the ‘submit passport..’ section .(sorry, I am unable to paste links, I am not sure why)

The security lady was right to say the transmission fee is not necessary but that is only applicable if the VAC was the one you used for your biometrics .
There are other details in the link that helps too and the VAC can arrange for it to be sent back to you via a courier service (you pay for this).
