Fajimarketplace:I knew one prof will come here and type this. You are talking to a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience. I was waiting for one of you know-it-all geniuses to come and prove what you don't know. Oya, go and look at the video again and tell me if the rebars in that collapsed structure look adequate. In case you don't know, most, if not all, cases of building collapse in Nigeria result from people cutting corners. Even the soil you mentioned, people will not do a geotech investigation, or they will ignore it, or simply not follow the foundation design. Don't people build on waterlogged areas and the buildings stand? As long as a building is designed and constructed properly, it will stand. If it's on weak soil, it is designed specially for that soil. I hope you understand what I'm saying? Are you even an engineer or builder? |
Fajimarketplace:Which soil? Soil kwa? Can you not see the collapsed structure? You see iron inside? Just a look at the concrete and sparse reinforcement bars, we can see that it's simply corruption and bad construction practices that brought down the lodge. If not that this is Nigeria, people ought to go to jail for this. |
PlasmaTV:Make your daughter man shout for her head for ya front.....na pipu like you dey break bottle on top dat kain patrols..... |
Let this man stop chattering and go sit down somewhere, preferably in his living room. We have moved on from the monumental disaster that was their government. We are currently trying to navigate the bulabalistic balabluuism that succeeded them, and may God help us. |
They will forget the insane acts of genocide in their land for some time. |
AMINDA:APC is a party of illegalities. Is Aso Rock now part of the real estate assets of the APC? What happened to the former venue? They just do things anyhow! |
AMINDA:APC is a party of illegalities. Is Aso Rock now part of the real estate assets of the APC? |
fergie001:You get words like these if someone is determined to tell the truth, no matter how injurious so doing may be to him or his cause. I respect Datti for this. Atiku's obsession with being president led to a reversal of PDP's zoning policy and an overt scorn of Wike in the primaries, followed by the choice of an Okowa (I just wonder why he was picked) as running mate. However, Wike, by his actions, has now placed himself as the most prominent officer on a sinking ship, a ship Atiku has bailed from to perpetuate his serial presidential ambition. Wike joining APC will pitch him against APC chieftains who wield more actual clout that he among party faithfuls, so, he's at a crossroads. |
Wizardslayer:I was telling a couple of friends that all the civilian governors of Lagos have not performed since 1999 till date. They were arguing with me, till I brought up issues like potable water supply, healthcare and education. All they have done is roads, bridges, terminals, rail, bus stops......as if the only problem in Lagos is mobility. |
bjnice:Well......I didn't follow him since graduating more than 20 years ago, so I didn't even know. |
Conciousnigeria:Na waa o....Radical Brother now a politician? He was NANS President when we were students. Daniel Onjeh was Mobilisation Officer, and he's now a politician as well, sooooo......I guess student activism is a gateway to politics. |
CoronaVirusPro:75 and in London like his friend who just took off at 82. Wetin ordinary pipu wey no fit run go London go come do? |
ZeroWorries:End wetin? Why? Especially as a man, who can still get a job and get married at 45, why would one end his life at 40? What of people like me who had no job AND A WIFE AND KIDS for 18 MONTHS at 43-44 years old? At least a single man only had himself to worry about.....I didn't kill myself, I later got a job and continued life. |
TouchNfollow:I know say na one Nigga, with those stupidly large chains they wear. A normal, thin, masculine necklace would have snapped, rather than pull a grown man into an MRI scanner. |
LordReed:I didn't get any thin-veiled racism in his interviews I've watched, so, I must admit you know more than me. |
DarkLover:Mia Khalifa, a "random chick"? Oh, well! I don't watch porn, but I know the name well from social media, with people making fun of her efforts to gloss over her past profession. That should tell you, I think. |
labake1:WHAT?!?!? Someine who wrote WAEC at the age of THIRTY-SIX, and scored so low? He's a conehead! Can someone who can't pass WAEC govern an entire state? Nigeria is one country where people do not think basic intelligence is not required to be a leader. Na waa o......make we kuma return to stone age. |
jesusjnr2020:The man with the previously recorded highest IQ is also a Christian. |
treesun:Sorry o, Oga billion van. You go dey explain taya......no evidence. |
grandsuccess:ABU is already named after a dead politician, though.......Ahmadu Bello's name cannot be swapped for an inferior person, no matter what the person in power has smoked. |
Infoguy666:This is why presidents usually pick very close associates as CoS. Some pick their close friends from their youth. In fact, most US Presidents do just that. The CoS should always be in the room when the President has to engage on serious issues. This stuff I'm hearing from Ibrahim Gambari is very unfortunate, because he obviously wasn't really valued by Buhari, which is why cabal members could catch Bubu in his absence. |
Kukutente23:Privacy kee dem for wia den dey! So if they want privacy, why not relocate the entire State House to London? Is London Clinic that is a public facility is more private than Aso Rock? |
OritseBemigho:So they will fly Trump from the country that has Mount Sinai and Johns Hopkins to London Clinic, abi? Anyway, you're right. Naija no get better hospital. Since it's the US we're talking about, the idea sounded funny. |
SeeWahala:Ehn, it's all part of the "abracadabra" of APC naa. DId Tinubu not say "subsidy is gone"? ![]() |
SeeWahala:Of course I know they're still stealing in the name of subsidy. That's been going on since Buhari's time. |
LegendHero:Bubu and Bola led protests against Jona's subsidy removal bid, o.........let's not forget. Let's never forget. |
dre11:As the subsidy was removed, did we die? What will this man now tell Tinubu? In fact, if we want to be very detailed about his utterances, can we all remember that the provision for subsidy had been taken out of the budget before Tinubu became President, and Buhari did in fact remove the subsidy, only he did it as he was leaving? These guys just talk for the moment and disregard the future, because they know they can tell another lie. |
teadrake:He has to dress that way if he's coming to Daura for a function. He's a chieftain in Daura. Culture demands that he does this, since he accepted the chieftaincy. |
SeeWahala:He better run to UK for an LLM and get called to the English Bar. |
Ofunaofu:Keep manufacturing lies to protect a man whose legacy is screaming from the rooftops. How much did he borrow? Aliyu should come and tell us how he didn't borrow any money. Borrowing Champion of Nigeria, how did he protect the poor, when Nigeria became the poverty capital of the world during his reign? |
