Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JejeIsLife: 9:20pm On Apr 21
Godsdaughterfr:
Hey everyone. So I'm currently trying to apply to canada with a student visa but I've been hearing they are rejecting people due to overpopulation so my hearts been a bit unsettled cuz I rlly don't want to skl In nigeria. My older sister is already in canada so I rlly want to see her. I got accepted to two schools but I'm going to nigara college and I applied for these schools using my waec result and got accepted in maybe 2 or one week. It was miracle but now I'm struggling due to nigerias weak exchange rate to pay fees because apparently canada asked fees to be paid in full instead of half ..is this true?
Also let's say I pay fees by May 10 and by God's grace and send in the whole application to be processed. Would I be able to get student visa before September and my mom is planning to apply for visitors visa. Would she be able to get and mind you she's been rejected before because she wanted to carry a dependent (my youngest sister)when my sister was travelling at first.
I hope to hear back from someone willing to answer me . Thank you!!!!!

i will suggest your mum should hold till you get your visa.

Know at the back of your mind that Canada don't reject visa if all criteria are met and never listen to nay sayers, be positive at all cost because that what you need.

I wouldn't know if you will get visa before September because only your admission to the school of your choice will determine the duration of your visa approval, therefore apply now and shoot your goals no one's what rules canada will bring.

wish you success

Hello,

i went to Gt bank to inquire for F visa fee price, to my suprise i found out they are selling for $185 = 333000 @ 1800 to $1. This is too exorbitant, is there a place where i can get it cheaper.

Jobs/Vacancies / I got a Customer Support Job And I I Don't Have the require experience. by JejeIsLife: 8:47pm On Jan 20, 2023
Good everyone....we all know that job getting a job in Nigeria is twice the work of a full time employee. The challenges of unemployment and the sapa promax suit that automatically becomes my day wear makes me shoot and apply for any job that comes my way, at least make me sef avoid see finish for area.

To cut the story short I landed a customer support job due to research I made online and I aced the interview...lo and behold I was sent a mail that I should resume on Monday but here I am having a panic attack as I did not know what to do since the job is a social science job but I am a technical person with engineering background. I am accepting the job because of the salary, financial challenge I am currently facing and the job is partly remote.

Please kindly share your experience with me if you ever work in a customer support centre and what software is used.

thanks.

This issue is very simple... Getting appointment for US visa is not a magic. No matter you are an agent or indivudyal. The same process you will do to get your appointment yourself is the same process agent will take to get you the same appointment. Agent will only charge and collect your money
Try do the appointment yourself and which is the method I used in getting mine.
Thanks

Thank you very much, my relative is inviting me to USA this December... I know I will have to fill the DS 160 form and pay for MRV fee. if I am not mistaken the MRV is the one that will make me have the appointment date according to the research I have made on here

Also, how do I get appointments date for December.

Good everyone, please don't be annoyed this question is for an Irish visa, I decided to drop it here because they are under the UK and might have similarities in the visa application.

I was asked "If you are applying for a Long Stay Visa/Preclearance, you must fill out the contact details of your reference in Ireland in this section. but I have no one in Ireland please what do I do?

Your questions will be best answered under the student section.

Anyway those are straight forward questions. The answer should be either Yes or No. pick the right answer as applicable to you. You don’t have to lie.

As per your contact details. I believe this will be the school contact information.

thanks

Once you have submitted the Ds160 form . You can't make any amendment to the form. You can send an email to the embassy or consulate to update them on your new passport.

thank you very much... may God bless you.

I am not sure you read the post that you profusely thanked the author. I have copied it again for you for ease of reference below.

ONE: The application doesn't require invitation or documents. Why will a link exist that you will visit to get the documents YOU NEED?
TWO: You cannot get a Date WITHOUT submitting your Visa Application and Paying the fees.

All you need to do (with or WITHOUT an agent) is to
A. Fill a DS160 Application Form at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
B. Pay Visa Fees (MRV),
C. Create a profile at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng and book appointment (using the DS160 number and MRV number).

The queue for appointment is 700 days+ (24 months), so if you pay today and book an appointment, you will only see 2024 dates.

Make sure your DS160 is properly filled before you submit it at the end of the form. Take your time. Don't rush. Use 4 days if you have to.
Also note you cant review after submitting so save a copy for yourself before submitting.

I will be contacting you from time to time so I wouldn't make a mistake. thanks for your response

So much wrong here.

Your relative writing to the Embassy means nothing. At best it will be ignored, it will never be matched up to your DS160 or be relevant to the interview.

You cannot pay for an expedited appointment. The only thing you pay is the $160 MRV fee.

Thank you very much I really Appreciate your swift response...How do I go about the invitation because my relative has never done this before and I have no idea of how it is done what documents do I need to have for this process to be successful.

Now the agent is saying I need an interview date first before anything could be done... someone should kindly help or. refer me to a link where I can get all. the needed document.

Good day everyone, my relative is planning to write the embassy an invitation to invite me to the USA and an agent told me that I won't be grant an interview on time because there is no interview date available until January and for me to get an interview he will have to pay to expedite the date at the embassy so I can be given a date early... I want to ask what causes this? because interview is meant to be free...kindly enlighten me please

As a skilled laborer, your skills are in demand for sure. 95% of the time, usually u won’t get the job offer directly from an employer due to several factors including language barrier. Most employers usually will work with an intermediary (e.g recruitment firms,
Legal firms etc ). To ensure I stay within guidelines, Im sorry i won’t make references on here. Unfortunately amongst those legitimate ones there are also illegitimate ones as well so u have to put in a certain level of caution when making a choice about which intermediary to work with.

Thanks once again I have a gotten link and I am currently sending my c.v and I came across a vacancy that says "what documents entitle you to stay and work in Poland. This is apply for people outside Poland"

You guys should kindly me answer.thay question please
