Sagamite:
I did google it. That does not mean I need to believe it.

In this pix, Oluchi looks like she is standing with 4  random African girls. If they are Nigerian, the average height of Nigerian girls is about 5ft1 (somewhere like UK 5ft'4). She does not look like if she is more than 9 inches above them even if you straighten her head. If she was 6ft2, they will not reach above the base of her neck.

She is very tall but from what I have seen, she cannot be over 6ft. More like 5ft11.

A 6ft2 women will really look like a giant. If you have any more pix, it would be interesting to see them to analyse more.

Deviating, 3 of those girls look more attractive than her.  undecided
I love how you clearly ignored the second pic where she is obviously over 6 ft.  She is taller than alek wek who is 5'11
You can google her yourself too and check out videos as well. I have no time to waste arguing with you.
besides, she wears flats or very low heels most of the time. all her casual pics show that. that's because she is really tall already. she doesn't need high heels except for maybe the runway.
so are these two caucasians standing next to her also 5'1 ? esp with the fact that the woman in red is most likely wearing heels. and oluchi is tilting her head to the side to appear shorter.

without heels in this pic.
She was a co-host for a past face of Africa and she made the male co-host look like a midget (just like she does to her husband). She really is very tall. You have to see enough pics and videos of her to know. esp candid ones.

I'll assume that because of her height, she doesn't need to wear heels all the time. and most likely doesn't.

RomanceRe: Do Guys Actually Like Slim Girls? by Jenifa1: 4:36am On Oct 28, 2011
Well, she is listed as 6'2
and Agbani standing next to her is listed as 5'11.
and I don't think she calculated her height herself.lol her modeling agency published that info. they usually have height and other body measurement stats on their models. these can be googled.

RomanceRe: Why Do Women Love Adjectives? by Jenifa1: 5:52am On Oct 27, 2011
2buff:
When I spawned this thread my mind was actually on "normal conversation".
The thought of dating sites came later.

I've been unfortunate enough to have had to listen to one-too-many of such "conversations".
well, maybe these women are advertising themselves to you.
I don't experience that since I am a woman and women don't use adjectives to describe themselves to each other in a "normal conversation".
maybe to men. because that's what they feel the men want to hear.

but in professional settings, women lack confidence and are actually more likely to underplay their intelligence and ability. while men are more likely to overplay it. This has actually been studied by scientists. esp in resume writing and for job interviews. men are more likely to do it.

RomanceRe: Why Do Women Love Adjectives? by Jenifa1: 5:42am On Oct 27, 2011
I need context here. is this for dating sites or what?
or in a professional setting?

what is the context of your assertion? @2buff.

if it is dating site then I might agree with you. basically obviously they are saying what the guy wants to hear. "i'm beautiful, intelligent" etc basically advertising themselves.
you will see stuff like that on the Sun page.

but in a professional setting, it is usually the opposite.
RomanceRe: Why Do Women Love Adjectives? by Jenifa1: 5:31am On Oct 27, 2011
I think it's the opposite. Men are more likely to do that.

CelebritiesRe: Agbani Darego Versus Oluchi Onweagba Lucas (pic) by Jenifa1: 5:16am On Oct 27, 2011
afam4eva:
Oluchi beats Agbana in every ramification. I also think Agbani did not make use of her title well. Look at Oluchi that won just "the face of africa" has achieved more than a former miss world.

Btw, Omowunmi Akinifesi remains one of the most beautiful girls to come out of the MBGN system.
face of africa is not a beauty pageant. It is more of a contest where the winner gets a modelling contract. ie It leads to a nice modelling career. Oluchi went on to model for renowned fashion designers and that's where her fame came from. she was a runway supermodel of a sort. I don't know what she's doing now though. She was going to set up her own tv show (Nigeria's next top model) but i'm not sure if she discarded that idea. anyways. . .

on the other hand, beauty pageants like miss world, miss universe etc generally don't lead anywhere in particular. I's just a one-time show. it doesn't lead to modelling careers.
that's why i'm really not a fan of beauty pageants. to me, there is no usefulness to it. except for men looking for trophy wives. that's where Darego failed. she should have married a wealthy man as soon as she won. now she looks old and her looks are no longer relevant.

her husband looks like a midget next to her. he looks like he is 5'7 or something.
I don't know how they are both comfortable with that.

but the cutest couples i've seen tend to be same height or around same height with one only slightly taller or shorter than the other.
extreme height differences look too awkward to me.
RomanceChurch Girls by Jenifa1(op): 4:37am On Oct 27, 2011
From reading many comments on NL it seems that a lot of guys detest church girls or have something vile to say about them.
Why is this the case?

By church lady, I mean a woman who is very active or involved in her spiritual life.  you know what I mean.
I usually am impressed by such people and most that I've met have been genuine.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't think most of them are single. They generally attract older or more serious men looking for wives or partners. On the other hand, they repel younger or irresponsible men looking for casual encounters.
This is from my experience with the women I know who are active in the redeemed church (rccg) I attend. Many are already married pretty early too or are engaged. So the comments I see here on Nairaland are a bit of a surprise to me and makes me feel that this is a case of sour grapes from the non-serious guys.

In fact, I am even more impressed by church going guys (very few exist!).

Air your views and your PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.

I'm actually a "teenage boy"; unapologetically and unabashedly so. But then, if it's only teenage boys that have 'taste' for the likes of Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, and Eva Mendes, than I really don't want to be 'mature', ever! In any case, you've not made sufficient impression on me (i.e. I've not noticed you enough) for me to waste my time to analyze your posts to confirm that you're the old, disused, envious-of-teenage-tastes vermin that you imply you are. . .which, fortunately, is not my 'taste' anyway. Mumu.
I made my point. case closed.

I don't know any man that would regard Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, or Eva Mendez (for instance) as "poison" or "total crap", as long as we're talking physical beauty. Preferences might be subjective, but perceptible beauty isn't as subjective as some of you make it seem.
I know quite a few guys who wouldn't touch Kim K or Nicki Minaj with a ten foot pole.
beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
and really depends on things like upbringing, environment etc.  and also age (because you sound like a pubescent or teenage boy in many of your posts. your taste will change as u become older more mature)
I crossed "older" out because many times age isn't correlated with maturity.
