lol. I don't have any advice for u she is quite insecure. |
that's messed up. possicon:it's impossible to compete with such a giant. China closed it's doors for a while and opened it when it becames strong enough. in fact google is blocked/censored in China right now. besides, I feel that something else against nigerian business is that it sometimes get shut down after being accused of 419. only for google to create their own product out of it. who is going to accuse google of 419? |
which one is silica sand. there are many different kinds of sand? some more flammable than others? |
except china is not trillions of dollars in debt. so china can actually afford it's stimulus packages. |
OAM4J:well, religion plays a role. whether islam or christianity. there are other factors beside. there is more female participation in first world countries than third world countries. what do u think is behind this? |
@isale_gan, I live in the west so of course you can detect some of that in my posts and pattern of thought by work force, i'm talking about the formal sector. not informal sector (the kind of trade u talk abt). I think there is a difference. I will not respond much to the last part of your post. I am not really here to make friends or get on with people on personal level. Just here to respond to posts. I'm a pretty self-aware person. even if i'm not intelligent, i'm very self-aware. so I do know most times what vibe other people are getting etc. but like I said, i'm not here to make friends. so I don't see a need to please you or others. |
well then the joke is on him. I still think it's sarcasm though. Especially if read in the context of what's going on around the world(financial crisis) today. unless he wrote it years ago. They are equally inept when it comes to consumption, and not only because of their proverbial penury and otherwise laudable penchant for reusing every piece of junk that comes their way. Even when they have money to burn, they seem more attracted to simple bling than to acquiring the wide variety of gizmos, gadgets, home appliances, bric-a-brac, and exotic interests that support vast export industries.I still laugh when I re-read this. |
maybe a museum will buy it. or a collector. because i'm sure noone will want to actually rest his/her head on that deathbed. |
if they are not "tasking" they are "demanding" or "invoking" fashola is probably shaking in his pants. he better answer their requests. or else. . . |
@isale_gan, The UN millenium development goals quota for female legislative seats is 30% by the way. So far, Rwanda, Pakistan and a handful of other countries have been stand out success stories. Nigeria and many others continue to lag for obvious reasons. But that doesn't mean that pressure isn't being put on the president. That's why I said that without the UN pressure, the situation would be worse. I don't have facts to back this up. just a reasonable/logical assertion. You seem to be an insider in Nigerian politics going by d confidence of ur post. I really would like to hear more on what u have to say. |
OAM4J:lol Are you talking about d same Nigeria where parts of d country is ruled under sharia? place where some of the same sentiments about gender roles is shared across the country? speak loud and clear? stand up and fight? well, if women had d power to do so, they would. but for now they don't. let's wait and see. As more and more join d work force and gain economic freedom, things most likely will start to change. i'm not saying this is for good or bad. but at least in d direction you seem to want it to go. |
So, what use does the global economic order have for Africa? Sadly, the Africans are terrible producers, lacking the precision, conscientiousness, group ethic, and self-sacrificing qualities needed to constitute a hard-working, reliable industrial population. Not to mention the issue of IQ! They are equally inept when it comes to consumption, and not only because of their proverbial penury and otherwise laudable penchant for reusing every piece of junk that comes their way. Even when they have money to burn, they seem more attracted to simple bling than to acquiring the wide variety of gizmos, gadgets, home appliances, bric-a-brac, and exotic interests that support vast export industries. The lack of protection accorded property in Africa also plays an important role in disqualifying them from this key economic function.Lol I like this. ![]() are you sure it wasn't written sarcastically? to me, it seems to put us in a good light. not a bad one. it reads like something u would find in The Onion. |
You talk so much crap, it is astounding! Unbelievable! Are you for real?! Did you live in Nigeria at all? With Nigerian parents? Around Nigerian women?
I would have said the same thing as you before I found out that there is a quota system in 23 African countries for female participation in politics. this is UN millenium goal mandate. Uganda and Rwanda are two countries that have met that quota. If Nigeria is not one of those 23 (which i think we are) participating countries, then i'm sure there is pressure to increase female participation. Without the UN system, there will be less female participation in politics than we currently have now. I stand by this opinion until I am convinced by contrary arguments. Maybe you are a politician in Nigeria and disagree, please share your view on why you disagree. |
Women will participate more in politics if there is a safe space for them to do so. but the truth is that men DO NOT want women involved in d first place and do their best to keep females out. Women also know that they are not wanted in politics. If not for UN gender equality mandates, do you even think there will be as many female politicians in Nigeria at all? I don't think so. in my opinion though, women do discuss politics among themselves. at least the parts of politics that have meaning and relevance to their lives. although they do not make it into a hobby like some men do. We have more relevant things to do with our time. I'm speaking for naija because the reality is different for places like the US where there is pretty decent female participation. esp when many of the debate topics have relevance to females ex abortion being the most obvious example. in naija on the other hand it won't even be a question before a legislator places a ban on females "wearing skirts" (not that any woman in her right mind will obey such) That's messed up. The whole country might as well be a sharia state. |
Olalekan 0:who fed you this bullshit? |
If you live a fantastic politician's life in Naija, then by all means stay home. going to live abroad will be a downgrade. unless you're only visiting for holidays. but if you were iya alakara in naija, then your life will be better abroad. especially for your kids who have a chance to move up the ladder. so it depends on d person and situation. |
To me, I compare bride price to engagement diamond ring. It serves an important purpose. A man will cherish his wife more and place more value on her if he knew he paid a lot or sweat to get her. same reason why many women play hard to get. etc. |
there is no week that pass and i dnt buy a pair f shoe r231:new pair of shoes every week? |
Pifa:something else is that the plastic bottles are filled with sand. I think that's where some of the fire resistance comes from. |
well
I can say the same thing about many African countries.
that's true. It's a black problem in general. but compared to US, blacks in Africa are still better off in terms of culture and value system. Repubocrat:you wish. What's my problem with your dating life? I am talking about the forest, you are whining about a tree. who cares abt u specifically? |
nolongTing:not after those nightmarish she-male pics u've been posting about. |
I see the same thing around here, and then you see black women with more than 3 toddlers. Can't wait to leave this state.
it's going to be d same wherever u go. srry |

I've seen this situation where NL yeye boys post their "fine" pictures, leaving ppl like me to lie about how "fine" the picture is.
rotflmao but sha if you don't find him attractive. there r some ppl who do. and those ppl (*cough*) are not complaining. ![]() |
sexkillz:same thing she said. She says you hate her. see now we have confirmed that neither of you hate each other. It's just the love frustration that's causing confusion. now make up and make love (just make sure to lock d door. I don't wanna see). i'm charging for counseling fee o. |
sexkillz:hmm who do u hate most on this thread? picture urself in a romance with that person. and voila. the best!! |
Repubocrat:It's not entitlement. it's common sense. Do you see indian men doing it? do you see asian men doing it? do you see hispanic men doing it? why is it only blacks? everyone knows d reason why blacks are d bottom of d barrel in US is because of lack of family structure. If too many of ur kind can't form community with each other then ur culture and race is going to pits. this is common sense. |
babe, he's a cutie don't worry. fresh, sexy face and all. although he's quite lean. i'm sure he'll take care of u very well. @sexkills, people say the best romance happens between 2 ppl who hate each other at first. wot do u think? ![]() freecocoa:lol. isn't this too much ![]() |

sexkillz:at least if you commit d murder. . , ![]() i'm joking o |
Anybody with an ounce of awareness would know that there more black men with fat black women than there are black men with fat white women.this is a flat out lie. that's like saying there are more whites in prison than blacks. well duh white people outnumber blacks. but the proportion is the logical statistic to look at. and there are way more black guys with fat white women in proportion to fat black women. ie for every 10 skinny black guys with white women, at least 8 are with fat white women. but for every 10 skinny black guys with black women, only 3 at most are with fat black women. most are with skinny or averagely chubby black women. at least this is my observation I know it's hard for you to understand that a human's perception of beauty can strictly be associated with the colour of one's skin, and nothing more, but it's possible.Yea I know this. that perception and preference is borne out of inferiority complex. yea it's ok for a few men to have exotic fetishes and tastes (some white men have the same for black women). but when a large proportion of the population have this same preference then there is clearly something wrong. either they have been brainwashed into believing that white women are more beautiful than their own mothers and sisters. or I don't know. |
