faakay:of course I'm not going to agree with the way you're painting yoruba woman. 'cause I'm one myself. why not change the topic to a igbo woman appreciation thread. and leave yoruba women out of it. that way it's a positive topic rather than a negative one. |
na wa o. so ekt_bear u seem to be an expert on this. don't let me report u to ur gf. ![]() but what's all d talk about wingmen and cockblockers. the OP says he's just looking for a girl to dance with. he's not looking to get laid or anything. the guy just wants to dance!! leave d manual and free him abeg. ![]() |
faakay:but your guilty conscience will not let you rest so you had to create a foolish thread to demean yoruba women. why not do your thing and leave yoruba women out of it?Instead of creating a thread to dedicate to igbo women, you create a thread to bash yoruba women. of course u deserve all d abuse u got. not every yoruba marriage leads to divorce. I'm talking abt the ones that do. and in most cases, unless u've been watching too much nollywood, it's the wife that packs her load and leave d house. not d other way round. |
Here's my own opinion:you make plenty sense. and I'm yoruba. Igbo men are more aggressive and hardworking. maybe that's why their wives are more submissive. for yorubas on the other hand, the men are emperors with no clothes. why will a woman be submissive to a man that is not worthy. but just fooling himself pretending to be king. and why are men obsessed with submissiveness anyways. if your wife is feeding you, then you (the man) shld be the submissive one. ![]() and OP, i've seen your pic. you are very ugly. that's exactly why the yoruba women are giving you a hard time. maybe you really shld consider igbo women. just for the sake of your future children. |
^ this brings back memories. I used to listen to infinity 24/7 back in d day. midnight crew's Igwe is another good song. ignore the igbo title. it's mostly yoruba. at least people usually sing just d yoruba part [flash=400,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7DzwmlGpbo[/flash] |
I hope once this one has been constructed ( by the chinese), we can learn and construct the subsequent ones ourselves. |
you two r something else. love ya anyways |
but it's true. i'll say businessmen make d most. at least successful ones. SEFAGO:rubbish. |
![]() |
no it's not so bad. but i'm not sure about the money part though. but I guess whatever makes u sleep better at night. ![]() |
:p |
these women are probably taking vengeance for some evil committed against them. maybe they are rape victims themselves. I hope they get caught though. |
see them. nerds ![]() |
beejaei:hahaha I like you already!! ![]() it's too bad I don't go to clubs. I think it's peer pressure though. just like a lot of naija guys also do not dance in clubs. they just prefer to grind and do nothing else. unless it's a non-club nigerian party of course (like a wedding or anniversary) then they really dance. which is always better imo. |
love love Infinity. It's been about 4 yrs now (or more) and they haven't recorded a new album. I really miss their music |
I thought cameroon was an extension of Nigeria. hence it is in west africa. ![]() |
12 yr olds are now "allowed" to date? Hm--- interesting.
lol ![]() |
^ ![]() I didn't modify it much. I just tried to avoid generalization which I did in my previous post. |
well it's the truth. i've modified it though. |
Most Chinese guys that work in Nigeria are actually prisoners in china and are brought here as a form of punishment to serve out their terms( I have done business with loads of them and some say it) and they want to be called master or what crapI weep for my people. when will we Africans ever learn ![]() switch47:so what about 60% pay cut. pls don't try to excuse airtel here. |
nice thread. but I will play the devil's advocate. . . on the other hand of your point, there is something called information overload that westerners are suffering from. most have lost their ability to think intuitively. since everything has to be performed scientifically and methodologically. people can't even brush their teeth without reading an instructional guide. joking. this is a good way to have order and control in society though. in fact, democracy can never work in a country without an organized information system. In order for a democracy to be orderly, you want people to assimilate a lot of I guess a good balance is the best. and Nigeria does have a long way to go. |
How come Our Nigerian ladies are always nicer to white men Many Nigeria Guys notice this too You will see a white guy open a door for a Nigeria Girl and she will be with all smiles throughout the day and return unlimited calls!!! When a brother does it, she may just ignore or nod her chicken head and run through quickly as if his chivalry is just something to be expected. Imagine if they are in a normal store and a white guy just says something to them just to make a small talk, there will be a lot of smiles yet our Nigeria brother does it, they act as if he has some bad hidden agendaPeace out
It is simple courtesy. as a nigerian i'm sure your parents taught you to be nicer to visitors and strangers . it's just a welcoming attitude to have toward people. either male or female. I only notice it on middle age and older nigerians though. young people could care less. lol I'm sure you would also do the same. how old are you? for the small talk thing. Yes some nigerian guys almost always have a bad hidden agenda. experience is the best teacher so I learn to avoid small talk with suspicious nigerian men I don't know. lol for white guys 9.9/10 times it's just friendly chatter. no insidious motivation behind it. at least in my experience |
@OP, If you've dated her for 3 yrs and it's the best relationship you ever had, obviously then you should stay with her. I don't want to play sigmund freud here but, why do you feel that you are being a sell out? Is there a reason. can you give a specific example or explanation? I think I get where you are coming from but you need to be more explicit abt your problem. where does the feeling of guilt and betrayal come from? Is it coming from peer pressure? the fact that all your friends went back home to marry a naija girl? what kind of married lifestyle do u want for yourself? I'm sure you can find ways to connect with interracial couples like urself if it makes you feel better. am listening to the foolishness written here: its ok, i married one, my uncle married one, i have two obamas- clap for yourselves.lol |
Goldieluks:see my previous post on parents and kids. obviously the parent has more power than the kid. in male/female relationship the guy or girl can have more power depending on the issue or problem. the guy will nag when he doesn't have the power to get his way. and the girl will nag when she doesn't have the power to get her way. |
I agree with you on the parental nagging because I have seen some parents goodness and let me say this there are punk parents in every creed but I have seen white parents begs their children to obey them and accept disrespect from them in fear of being told they are the worst parents in the world. You and I know MOST black mothers/fathers would have handle the situation in a different manner. I am not saying exactly what because we do have some emotional chatters on NL.
I get what u mean but it's not necessarily a good thing on the part of black mothers/fathers. especially in the school system. most teachers are white and therefore have a hard time connecting with black kids who are used to disciplinary parents and therefore have no respect for white teachers who tend to use nagging. ie most black kids will not listen to teachers unless they get strong discipline (whopping). white kids on the other hand, respond well to nagging and begging. lol so the school system works better for them where corporal punishment is banned. but works against the black kids who will tend to have behavioral issues. in other words, it works against the blacks kids because we do live in a predominantly white society. |
like I said, nagging works for the powerless. ![]() REALITY101: Goldieluks: |
oh no. world bank always wanting to take ownership of everything and meddling in everyone's affairs. aregbesola better be smart. |
REALITY101:lol. she is a she. a she-male |
