such hypocrisy.
HealthRe: Do Black Women Get Cellulite? by Jenifa1: 7:11am On Sep 18, 2011
yes i've seen black women with cellulite. usually on their butt because that's where many store their fat. but i'm sure there are women who have it on their thighs too.

CyberG:
One thing I have noticed is that white women have very good skin when they are in their early twenties but mid thirties to early forties, the skin is already sagging around the neck and discolored! I think it is in the skin pigmentation.
without the make up, you will see the aging progression better. because I know a few already with crows feet in their 20s but with make up, it is completely covered. maybe they should start applying make up to their neck area also when they're in their 30s and 40s (as per your comment).

RomanceRe: Do You Prefer "dating" Or "courting" by Jenifa1(op): 5:52am On Sep 15, 2011
Dating is merely testing the ground.
A lot of people nowadays don't date to test the ground. They date for dating. esp ones in their late 20s and 30s and they're still dating. It has become a sport
I mean how many times do you have to "test the ground" to figure out when to stop and get settled. eventually marriage will become more of a restraint or like a prison rather than a blessing. because these people are used to jumping from one partner to another.

I didn't even look at it from a religious viewpoint. Naturally, I dont look at topics from a christian point of view. Now, I understand where you coming from. But seriously, healthy relationships can as well result from dating. Personally, I won't expect teens to court. No, they should date.
I see your point.

@sauer,
this thread is sort of influenced by my reaction to a book (see link below). It's a christian read if you are interested.

@ileke-idi,
do you have a response to the topic?
RomanceDo You Prefer "dating" Or "courting" by Jenifa1(op): 4:58am On Sep 15, 2011
Guys: do you date women or do you court them?
Women: do you prefer dating or courting?

what do you think the difference is? and why?

I personally think that nowadays, men don't court women anymore. It's all about dating in today's world. we have lost respect for the traditional way and this is why divorce rates are going UP. courting prepares you for marriage. dating prepares you for break-up tongue

may his soul rest in perfect peace.

Its all good my Sister. I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from, because I understand where you're coming from. You want a partner that you and he/she can become a force to be reckoned with. You want your Obama. I want my Michele. And that's why I say only a Loser of a dude would be with a broke @ss broad. What can she do for you? Nothing. What can a broke @ss dude do for you? Nothing. Why should I pay the bills of some GIRLFRIEND when there are many women out there who are making cheddar, go-getters, making things happen and paying their own bills. However, what I would do for the woman I marry? That is another story entirely. Why? Because we would be ONE flesh according to the covenant of marriage and believe you me, she will get EVERYTHING that all the previous GIRLFRIENDS didn't get. Why? Because she is the ONE. You're supposed to save the best till last
if you are stingy to the gfs then chances are high that you will be stingy with the wife.
just as if you cheat with the gfs chances are high that you will cheat with the wife.

calling her "the ONE" doesn't make her magically different from the girlfriend in terms of your relationship habits.
at least that's my opinion.

PoliticsRe: Opinion: Boko Haram And U.S Involvment by Jenifa1(op): 5:08am On Sep 12, 2011
Yea it's an extreme view. I don't believe that Boko Haram is a US plot either. but it is a very interesting opinion that was worth mentioning.

I am tempted to believe that after the bombing of the UN, if they as much as bomb another International building, then CIA hitmen and drones flying the Star Spangled Banner will begin creating man sized potholes were buildings used to be in the core-North.
If boko haram ever bombs anything in the South (100 times worse, in the Niger Delta), we could actually see American boots landing beyond Lokoja.
This is what I'm most frightened by. Like I said, US intervention is for better or for worse.
because oil interest most often times runs contrary to Nigerian interest.  lipsrsealed

to me, the best way to solve the problem is to reduce the whole "Islam" vs "the rest of us" rhetoric that the US usually tries to promote. because that only fuels anger and hate esp in a country like ours where we are actually living side by side with the Muslims. If there is a way to isolate the radicals by appealing to the moderates and the rest of the north that would be great.
ex the initiative to build schools in the north is a good one.

I don't know what the US scheme is but I just hope that they don't make things worse for Nigeria just because they want their oil.
