edoyad:How do you guys trivialize these matters so? Countries go to war with each other over stuff like this (ie US and Iraq conflict mostly has to do with the fact that Iraq refused to privatize it's oil industry) how can you even compare apple to pchn? ![]() one is more strictly economical. the other is more political/ national interest. the 100 billion price tag is that way for a reason. controlling a country's energy supply is much more than just the money. In fact, there shouldn't be a price tag on it if our govt is sensible at all. we expose ourselves to all sorts of political, security, economic vulnerabilities by selling our energy to a foreign company. |
premechaz:now I see you are just being sarcastic. no further comments. |
all4naija:well, keep waiting for Brazil to bring you good life. since brazil is the new mother theresa |
premechaz:What in the world is EOF? The point is our govt have been foolish to let foreigners control our oil. but we would be even more stupid to sell off our energy as well. you say brazillian company will bring you good life. has Shell brought you good life? |
premechaz:You explicitly exposed yourself here as someone who does not have Nigeria's best interest at heart. Why don't you leave the Nigerians here to discuss what's best for our country. ok? For some reason, people like you (who do not care one bit for the country) are the ones who populate the government and are bringing our nation to ruin. |
toyemz, so you're saying Nigerian men in the UK are cheap? ![]() they sleep with women for money and items? |
claremont:Just put yourself in the shoes of the girl and try to think about it and you will realize that it is very rational. In the western world, many women date just to date or have fun. in that sense, they will date any guy that catch their fancy. for Nigerian women, they date in order to eventually get married. not to be used for a ride. consequently, the criteria is different. next! |
premechaz:there are different kinds of monopolies. ex. all monopolies in America are American. not foreign owned. at least learn to copy correctly. and also, don't sell ur birthright for a bowl of soup. |
blink182:if electricity becomes stable, demand will become inelastic (whether due to force or out of necessity) and people will pay whatever they are charged. Brazil will in essence be carting away billions annually from us. it doesn't even matter what the lay folks think. The real question should be why the government will be willing to even consider such an offer. Besides making huge exploitative sums of money from us, Brazil will also have the power to shut down Nigerian government just by turning off the switch! They will control our power in every sense of the word . @premechaz, you really sound like a fool. no offense. |
My take on this is that people both men and women while single can play the field and sow their wild oats if they so wish to (I am not endorsing promiscuity) . But the moment they say "I do" they should commit to that one person to the exclusion of others. Remembering the "good times" they had while single and adopting a new lifestyle of one man, one woman.here is where the problem lies ^ you are simply encouraging indiscipline and predisposition to infidelity. if a guy is disciplined while single and doesn't sleep around, chances are high that he will maintain his discipline while married. if he is sleeping around and "spreading his wild oats" while single, chances are very high that he will do the same while married. old habits are very hard to break. to men who are used to that kind of freedom, cheating and sleeping around will become like a human right while marriage and fidelity like a prison or cage. for example, you called his single life "the good times." So, doesn't that translate into his marriage becoming "the bad times"? |
lastpage:tpia is not ugly. neither is mercy johnson. are you male or female? |
she has some make up. she just happen not to be wearing a weave this is her without any make up on her face at all. https://africastyledaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/mercy-johnson.jpg |
I advice you to get a separation first. ie live apart from your wife for a few months or years but still keep in touch/go for counseling and use the time to sort your issues. if things do not get better, go forward with a divorce. Na wa o. I pray to God not end up in this kind of situation with a monster husband. |
They don't. my parents look nothing like each other. The couples I personally know who look alike are not even married yet lol. so of course in this case, they look alike even before marriage. |
I once launched a complaint to my Prime Minister about this issue saying that if the local couldnt accept Africans and the government refuse to give job opportunities to Africans, than they should not in the first place promote Malaysia to Africans telling them that they would have good education and good job opportunities here and as usual, I get a good SILENCE from them. Calling them even is worst cause no one picks up the phone ever!
how did you get the Prime Minister's phone number. I think you should keep trying. Sometimes I don't get it either. maybe they're just looking for cheap labor. |
@shesi, We are criticizing Ghana for good reason. It is not out of hatred and definitely not jealousy. I am more embarrassed for them actually. And it's also a way for us to voice a concern about this ugly trend in Africa. go on any Ghanian news website and read the comments you will see that even the Ghanians are incensed about it. It is a slap to their face really especially to Ghanian women. because this is implying that Ghanians are ugly. This really is not a new trend or anything surprising but they went all out with it. they didn't even try to be subtle like last year when they used a black-American. how could you say this one represents Ghanaian beauty or culture? like I said, even the Ghanaian are unhappy with the choice. Read these articles. and especially the comments. http://www.ghanacelebrities.com/2011/07/03/who-the-heck-is-in-charge-of-miss-universe-ghana-how-can-you-tell-me-yayra-nego-is-the-winner-of-miss-universe-ghana-2011/ http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/entertainment/artikel.php?ID=212705&comment=0#com It is constructive criticism and most sensible Ghanaians would recognize that. |
right. and now that you don't have choices anymore and oyinbo women have left you. Nigerian women have all of a sudden become respectful "sistas" I won't waste my time talking to an old pig. Like I said, goodluck finding a mugu. have a nice day. just be prepared to spend money to atone for your sins (you're just too old). |
that's good to hear. I hope he sustains it and does other things too like: manny4life: |
most if they ever remarry always end up marrying a man who is also divorced with kids. or a polygamist no single attractive woman will go for a divorced man with kids unless he is rich/ financially secure the same for guys. |
while his friends were settling down and getting married, he was busy chasing oyinbos. feeling proud and accomplished. he even had the audacity to say he preferred not to date nigerian and blacks. he is obviously thinking in his mind that nigerian and black women were inferior. now in his 50sand the oyinbo women are gone, his divorced Bottom is looking for a nigerian mugu. goodluck finding one without a good sized wallet to back u up. |

re-read my post. I have replaced white with oyinbo. now what comment do u have? to me, you and your friends are suffering from inferiority complex. you are not oyinbo and will never be. srry. the earlier you realize it the better. |
chaircover:did you read the part where he said she calls the police? ![]() he needs to get a divorce. and besides, we don't know her side of the story. OP, what is the cause of your arguments? money? adultery? what? |
I see what you are talking about after all he and his "culos" do not date Nigerian nor Black American woman but he thinking about dating Nigerian women now. Hmm. It does sound a little desperado.
that's what inferiority complex does to ppl. I only hear that kind of talk from immature, irresponsible black guys in their 20s and 30s. most of them don't even have a single oyinbo male friend. but yet they say they feel more comfortable with oyinbo people. if you are so comfortable with females of other races, how come you don't feel comfortable with their men? obviously it's a superficial comfort stemming from inferiority complex. this one is a fool at 50. and his eyes are probably just starting to open now that he is senile. too little too late. |
arrangee:you mean USA? what are your fights about? finances? |
EuroMeko:no kidding. ![]() what a pathetic old fool. goodluck trying to gain the respect of a nigerian woman.
LMAO@I lived in a country where divorce is promoted so I went along with trend.
lol. I thought I was the only one who found that comment ridiculous. ![]() |
it's so obvious. the guy is in his 50s. all of a sudden he is now interested in Nigerian women. after he explicitly said he chose not to date nigerian women.he is desperate! his oyinbo left himhe wants to eat his cake and have it. |
